FINALLY!!!! This restaurant is EXACTLY what I have been talking about in my previous reviews. This town needs a restaurant that offers fresh food and real cooking and I have found that only in two locations in two years here in Logan. Center Street is one of them. I love the tone of the restaurant. It's very funky and the wait staff is so nice. (thank you for that!) I only wish that the half sandwich and soup deal were bigger. The soup is too small and I usually order an additional soup. Not a really good deal. Otherwise, hats off and thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

We stopped for the night in Logan on a motorcycle trip and had dinner here because it was close to our hotel. The focaccia turkey was amazing and so fresh tasting. And the sweet potato fries were excellent. The next morning we came back for breakfast and I had the lean and mean breakfast platter. We were amazed at how fresh everything tasted. Holly, our waitress, was super friendly and very helpful and the prices here are better than Denny's. We'll be back if we are ever in the neighborhood again.

If you're up to put some meat on your bones, you best come to Center Street and you best get a burger. I came for lunch with some of the homies, and it wasn't too busy--which made our food come out, speedy quick and really good. One homie got the Focaccia Turkey sandwich. It was stacked like this: Fancy bread, turkey, cheese, special sauce, veggies, and fancy bread. Another homie got the Center Street Burger. It was complete with fried onions and BBQ sauce. I ordered a Swiss Cheeseburger with bacon and avacado... No mustard, ketchup, or onions, with an extra pickle. Yes. I'm definitely that girl. BUT everything came out perfect! My only critique would have to be the fries. They were a little too oily, but all-in-all, a totally yummy meal. On a totally different note, this is the location of the Man v. Grill Challenge. It requires you to digest a 3.5 pound cheeseburger in 45 minutes. That's the epitome of "don't try this at home". I wouldn't be surprised if they require a EMT specifically trained in "meaty overload CPR" just standing by. The best part of this whole thing is that they have a "Wall of Shame" and a "Wall of Fame". The shame wall is packed with small 4x6 photos of poor people having a stare down with a full cow. The oh so coveted Wall of Fame is sparse with 8x12 framed photos of poor people suffering from a beefy hangover. TIPS & TRICKS: * There is a menu where you order, but if you want to know exactly what's on everything, look at the menu book located on the right hand side when you first walk in. * If you like sweet potato fries, switch them for regular fries. * CHECK IN on Yelp! You'll get $2 off your meal if you write a review and post a photo of your meal... Or in my case, 3 photos. Because, let's face it, I'm Millennial who can stand to miss a photo op.

The food is great, but the "new management" decided to reduce their portions (especially the fries) and so I probably won't be back.

I use to like this place but the food prices have gone up and the food quality and quantity has gone down. Just ordered a blu cheese bacon burger and one bite the bacon was gone. They give you enough fry sauce for like six frys then charge you extra for a dinky amount of it, super anal about fry sauce. Might as well just serve you blu cheese on a bun cause that's all I can taste. I'll stick with Mortys from now on, where you can get as much fry sauce as you want and the prices aren't changing for less food.

It's a pretty average place with nothing to extraordinary to be honest..Or at least from my perspective. My group and I were looking to go to Angies up the street but it was packed with a nice long wait! So we gave this place a try. The staff is friendly and the food is good! We were satisfied and thats why I think it gets a pretty average rating

Don't know how many times I drove by this place seeing how local places come and go (I've lived here for decades)... I gave it a year from its opening. Until one day I craved a deluxe tasty burger -think the Kahuna burger from Pulp Fiction. My previous local spot, La Beau's closed, and I wanted to try something new besides Beehive Grill or the new 5 Guys Burger (which I've had elsewhere). I pulled up Yelp which recommended Morty's on campus (good luck with parking) and this place. I was surprised to find the lot pretty full on a Tuesday evening. Hop in and the atmosphere/decor was bright burger diner style with more culture than Red Robins or In & Out burger. Snazzy ceiling, posters, Wall of Fame/Shame, cushy red & white booths, but what got me was this a "Final Four" chart (like basketball) by the Salt Lake Tribune in search of Utah's perfect burger. Center Street Grill was one of the final contenders (kudos). I had the Coronado burger with onion rings. Pretty good, patty was standard size, cooked well, decent flavor (better than fast food) but nothing to write home about. I liked the bread crust of the buns, which weren't hollowed out gourmet bread bowls but did the trick. The eggs, cheddar cheese, salsa, tomatoes and avocado reminded me of a huevos rancheros breakfast (cheap one, don't get excited). Onion rings were the highlight of the meal: light, crispy and not oily with pretty thick onion slices. I could see Coronado himself having one of these for breakfast after his expedition (or your next hangover). Parking & Location = 4/4 Service = 4/4 Atmosphere = 3/4 Food = 3/4 pretty good with variety of soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches, shakes, even espresso drinks. I can see why Center Street Grill has survived this long, from my taste buds, it can stay :)

Holy malt!! Wow. This is amazing. The burger, onion rings, and chocolate malt were spectacular. Cute place, too, and their patio is lovely!

Best burgers in Logan! Get one of the specialty burgers for sure. The buns are really good too and so are the fries. Great diner atmosphere.

My wife and I always choose this place in town to come and get a good burger. A big plus is the apple beer on tap, tastes so good. I would recommend this place to anybody.

I really enjoy their "Inferno Burger." Center Street Grill is your average American burger joint -- quick, not great, but not too bad. Their service is "okay," nothing to rave about.

  • Alecia M.

I ordered to go. I shit you not, they gave me 10 sad little fries. Wah wah. 8 dollars my ass. Never agaaaaaain.

  • Stephanie K.

Not bad. What you see is what you get. Quick, cheap burgers. I was looking for something meatier, and their burgers are not too substantial and pretty oily. But I loved the toasted bread and appreciated the nice server. I also liked that I got to have sweet potato fries (didn't see that on yelp) for no extra cost instead of fries. For a non-gourmet burger, it wasn't bad.

I feel like Center Street Grill is one of Logan's best kept secrets. They have some of the best food I've ever ate there, along with some of the most amazing employees. Every day they have daily specials that their chef steph creates and you can really tell they care about what their customers are eating. Go in on Monday and you can have their famous guacamole burger, Fridays for French dips, and if there is something you want that you don't find on the menu, they are happy to make it if they have the ingredients to do so. Their employees care enough about you to get to know you, always asking how your day has been and you can tell they are sincere. I would recommend this place to anyone, great burgers and great people.

Really good burgers: buns are great, sauces and topics are tasty, the patty is big but it's flavor is nothing to write about. The vibe is a seemingly accidental mix of country kitchen and 50s diner kitsch, which is weird, but I enjoyed sitting out on the patio.

The service is slow. The bathrooms are disgusting. Took 10 min to get our drinks. You could get the same quality of food at Wendy's for half the price

  • Garrett K.

This is my favorite burger place in Logan. The price is awesome. Depending on the hamburger you choose, it's anywhere from $5-$10 for a ¼ lb. burger and a ton of fries. It will definitely fill you up. After my first time, I ended up going three times in one week - it was that good. My favorites are the southwesterner & center street burgers. I have heard that they have a really good breakfast, too. This place has never been too busy when I've been there, either. And I have been there on weekends and weekdays. Sit right down, get your food in about 10 minutes, continual drink refills...really can't say anything bad about Center Street Grill.

I was visiting Logan and decided to get a cheeseburger. I got a cheeseburger and fries and everything was just pretty good. I was actually more impressed by the fries than I was with the burger. It tasted like the burger was just made from a frozen patty and not anything fresh. I didn't think it was anything too special.

  • Matthew A.

My wife and I love this place. The bleu burger might be the best I've had. The onion rings are awesome, the burgers are high quality meat with unique, dry buns. Since we moved away from Logan we've never found a good replacement burger place. Great atmosphere, too.

Had breakfast here today. Great food, inexpensive, fun atmosphere, waiter was very friendly and squared away with his service. He brought my husband a sample of the gravy for biscuits and gravy (very good), and I had the Mediterranean skillet which was easily enough food for 2 people at a very reasonable price. Only room for improvement is my daughter asked for egg whites and was told they do not do this and in today's health conscious culture this seems behind the times.

The burgers are ok but the shakes are to die for. The burger tasted ok and the fries were definitely tasty. Make sure you have a shake before you leave!

Wonderful food delivered hot and fresh. My husband was elated they had a salad bar with lots of variety. Many burger selections. Handmade buns. Great experience!!!

Best burgers in town! Friendly staff and great service. Try a wrap or the halibut. Very tasty!

Awesome place all-around! Sweet little dog friendly patio, great food, and reasonable prices. We had the tomato basil soup and veggie sandwiches are were very pleased! Check it out, you won't regret!

Holy crap. This is the best burger in Cache Valley hands down, and one of the best I've ever had in my life! I've tried almost all the burgers. The southwesterner, bleu cheese and bacon, and the BBQ ranch are my favorite, but the chili lime burger is very good too. And their turkey focaccia sandwich is awesome! I was hesitant to try it, but other reviews only had good things to say, so I took the dive. And I agree completely! Amazing fries, great fry sauce, hefty selection of drinks. Better than five guys, better than anywhere else!

We were on the long drive from Salt Lake City to Grand Teton National Park and looking for a delectible eating establishment. Yelp led us to Center STreet Grill. Clean with a pleasant staff, we were happy to see a children's menu because the prices were expensive. As mentioned in the other reviews, the burgers were great. My children were happy to see that there were many choices of soda. As they put it: three soda bays instead of two! There was a soup and salad bar that looked OK, but nothing special.

Center Street Grill has the potential to be hugely successful. It's a burger joint in a college town, at a great location (center and main), and with a good atmosphere and good quality ingredients. The only problem is they don't take the time to make sure everything tastes great. Why is it so hard to understand that flavor is everything. I can go get great ingredients and cook a good burger at home. But if it were my PROFESSION to make burgers, I'd get some secret sauce, spices, and flavor that would keep people coming back.

If you don't like the burgers here, then you shouldn't be allowed to eat burgers. I come here at least once a week to try a different burger. I haven't had one that I didn't enjoy. Easily the best that you'll have in the valley

The Center Street Grill is a welcome burger joint in a town with very few options. I got the burger with blue cheese and bacon and it was pretty good. The bun was great! They were a little heavy-handed with the blue cheese spread but overall it was good and I would definitely get it again. The fries were crunchy and fresh. Though it was busy we got our food in about 10 minutes. I would definitely go back.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Logan. I went there because I heard they have pastrami burgers and I was missing my good ol' Crown Burger down in Layton. Their burger was good and their fries even better. They even gave us a ton of food. Not to mention, the wait staff was great.

    (5)
  • Andy H.

Wow! Food would have been ok. Service was worst I've seen in a very long time. Took nearly an hour and watched our food sit in the lamp for a good 10 mins till I pointed to it. Filled our own drinks. Got our own silverware. Asked the counter staff for plates etc which was apparently of some annoyance. Fear not CSG, we'll not annoy you again anytime soon.

This place has a great "burger atmosphere". It seems clean also. The burger's buns are great! The fries are perfect! I'm not blown away, but it was good! We'll definitely go back.

  • Zach J.

The food is really good, just pricy for a hamburger and fry shop. Most burgers are $8.29. They used to be very quick but since they switched to a sit down with waitress environment the time it takes has tripled.

I've got a secret for you Yelper's out there. Go to Center Street Grill and what you want is NOT on the menu. Order the Green Chili Lime Burger. Act like you've done it dozens of times before and they will make it for you. You then feel like this giant high roller who calls all the shots. You're awesome, the staff just shrugs it off because they get the request daily, and you walk out of Center Street Grill extremely satisfied and your the boss who just told "the man" how you wanted your burger. It is hands down the best burger I have ever eaten. I've lived all over the place and I am currently in St. Louis. I'd give anything for a Green Chili Lime Burger, right now.

The frysauce is perfect, I could drink the stuff. Always fresh fries, love the wraps and burgers, and the soups I've tried were absolutely delicious. We'll go back again and again. We love the old timey feel and it holds great memories for us. Great portions and prices!

Flat out awesome burgers! Been here twice and they have to be the best burgers in the area. The onion rings are a little intense but in a good way.

Fun little place to eat at. Went to the BYU vs USU game and at there with friends. The burgers were good and filling. I had had the Pastrami burger and I would recommend it.

Center Street Grill is one of the better burger joints in Cache Valley. I have one suggestion when you go to the Center Street Grill: go off the menu! I walked in after the rest of my group and my buddy Aaron suggested the Green Chili Lime Burger, "it's not on the menu," he added. I took the plunge and was handsomely rewarded. In addition to the thick juicy meat paddy, covered with a gooey slice of melted cheese, there was green chili salsa mixed with lime juice. The combination of tart and spicy worked perfectly for me. I enjoyed the entire sandwich from first bight to last chew. The fries that came with the burger were hardly worth mentioning. They weren't awful, but they weren't memorable. I do remember that I ate all of mine, but I'm like that. I don't usually leave food on my plate. (taken from an blog post i wrote for CacheValleyEats - cachevalleyeats.com/?p=7 )

Fairly good amount of food for the price. Simple but good menu. They need more seating, and more parking. These are two major issues. But the only way to change that would be to move off of Center Street :-)

In Logan and want some good grill food - burgers and sandwiches? This is the place. About the best burgers you can find around here. They also have a variety of specialty salads, and a salad and soup bar. I have only had the tomato basil soup and it is very good. The prices seem a bit on the high side a little over $10 for a burger, fries, and a soda but you get high quality food and large portions. I've had the mushroom and swiss burger, the buffalo jack burger, the blue cheese burger (my favorite), and the center street burger (cheese burger, bbq sauce and a large onion ring). I haven't had a burger that I didn't like. The patties aren't the wussy thin kind they are 1/2 pound and they cook them just right, not dry. They have large buns to accompany the large patties. Toppings are always fresh. I have to warn you the burgers are a bit messy, but a messy burger is usually a good one. I have also had the philly sandwich which I liked as well. I have gone there with intentions of trying one of their specialty salads but have never been able to pass up their burgers. There burgers and sandwiches come with your choice of fries or a side salad, you can't go wrong with either. They always have a daily special which basically includes the price of the soda so you don't have to pay extra.

It's a nice change of pace in Logan, Utah from Wendy's, Burger King, or McDonald's. The menu is great, and prices were reasonable also. Definitely recommend to try out.

We had breakfast here one morning and were very pleased. We were even able to order a child's size breakfast which was perfect. The eggs were cooked to order as well as the bacon. Sometimes you find a restaurant where the bacon has been sitting for awhile and is dried out. That wasn't the case here. We wanted to come back and try the burgers that are famous but didn't find the time. We'll do that on another visit. The service was very helpful, attentive, and friendly.

The bacon bleu cheeseburger and the chessy steak & spinach make this place well deserving of 5 stars.

  • Peter E.

As my Daddy used to say, for thems that likes that sort of thing, it's just the sort of thing they'd like. We were looking for breakfast so my review is based on a single visit and doesn't discuss their burgers. I asked about the fruit pancakes topped by cherries, strawberries or raspberries. "is the fruit fresh?" No, frozen "but it's really good.". My pancakes were topped by a big blop of cherry pie filling right out of the can. So that's it in a nutshell. Could be your kind of place. Not mine.

The food was just okay. Your typical diner food - good burgers and fries, but nothing to really write home about.
