I came here in search for a great salad/sandwich, and Apple Spice was a great choice. I ordered a run-of-the-mill club sandwich, which was made not-so-ordinary on the honey wheat bread. Delicious. I also added on their pasta salad, which was also very good. I love the glass water pitcher! When I went it was filled with oranges, strawberries, mint and other fruits. Yummy and very cute! I also couldn't complain about the 20% discount for USU students ;)

My wife and I use to love this place when it first opened. However the sandwich is all bread and no meat. I have had stale bread before. We do eat here very often we would rather go to paradise in the mall.

Pretty good food, but way too pricey for what you get. Amazing cookies and desserts, but their chicken curry sandwich was very unappealing, and poorly made. Costs would need to be almost cut in half to be worth it.

I really like their box lunches and frog eye salad. One of my favorite Logan sandwich places. Everything is good!

I work next door to these guys, so I've eaten here a bunch. Fresh food, nice atmosphere, fresh bread. Yes, I agree with some reviews that some of their meals are priced higher, but you get more here than you do at a fast food place. They have some lower prices options too.

I like this place. I heard about it through some classmates and didn't have too high of expectations but I like it! They do free lunch delivery if you have 3 orders or more. It makes for a nice lunch during a business meeting or anything of the sort. It is very light; I feel like a lot of food is heavy and greasy nowadays but Apple Spice makes it easy to enjoy.

The food is really good. Great taste and looks great. This place is a little pricey for what you get. The staff is dull and lifeless. I have been in several times and have never seen one of them smile. It's like they want to make me feel bad for interrupting their day by ordering food.

We've been here twice and have tried the Thai curry chicken salad and turkey avocado sandwiches. While I liked both, I must say that I liked the turkey avocado more, probably because of the focaccia it was on. Service is quick, the place is clean, and they have one of those new digital coke machines. Great sandwiches, will definitely continue coming back!

Pretty good. Husband and I had dinner here around 7 PM and were reasonably satisfied. Pros: Local. We try to avoid chains as much as possible, and haven't eaten at one in some time. Love that this place is owned and operated out of Utah. They have one of the fancy Coca-Cola machines where you can customize your beverage. They also have free "fresh fruit" water (which appeared to have citrus and strawberries in it) and Torani syrup pumps to flavor your soda, coffee, or hot chocolate. Good cookie! In the middle: Sandwiches. Husband got a panini and I got a regular sandwich. Both were just so-so. The bread was decent, but what was inside was no different than what I'd get at the grocery store. Employees. We were greeted from across the store in a pretty lukewarm fashion, and then ignored (even though it was probably really obvious that we'd never been in before, given how long we were taking reviewing the menu) until we ordered, and the server/cashier was very lukewarm then as well, even though we were doing our darnedest to be warm and friendly. Cons: Avocado on sandwiches was really hard and unpleasant. Broccoli in cheddar broccoli soup was originally frozen: I wouldn't be able to tell if they cut the broccoli down a bit, but the chunks were huge (which would be delish if it was fresh), and they were extremely chewy and rubbery. Cheddar broccoli soup was gelatinous and thick--more like a sauce than a soup. I love a good, hearty cheddar broccoli soup, but this was more like scooping Alfredo. I'm willing to pay out the nose for local, but for what I got and the quality, the price was slightly higher than I'd be willing to pay again. Three stars. Worth a try, but kind of a once-or-twice-a-year kind of place for us.

I'm not a salad person, but I crave their salads! Very nice and helpful staff. I no longer live in Logan, but I try to visit this place every time I get up to Cache county.

Good food. Fresh. The inside it's nice. I love frog eye salad, but sometimes it isn't consistent. I am disappointed I have to pay $0.99 to upgrade to the frog eye now. ...I'm less likely to buy a pop now. Maybe if the upgrade included a drink I wouldn't be as bummed.

I have been here several times and really enjoy the atmosphere, the decor and the food! The think I like the most about this place is that it is a franchise that is NATIVE TO UTAH!! It opened its doors in 1988 in Salt Lake City and has expanded all over the USA, and is now back here opening more doors. They are opening a new cafe on 3rd and Main in DT SLC!! I cannot wait... The food is typical cafe style with a hint of Utah.... They have good sandwiches and their menu is up to the minute (Chipotle Chicken, Turkey with the ever present Cranpeno) but my favorite is the Slow Roasted Pot Roast Panini with Bleu Cheese.. OMGosh.. To Die For .... (They also serve the Pot Roast as a dish...Yum..) Their side salads include Frogeye (that is why I say Utah... I never had this before I moved here) and I like it.. Marshmallows, Jello (NOT GREEN!), fruit, Acine de Peppe, Cool Whip.. and its really pretty good. They also have a list as long as Santa's of other wonderful salads and GET THIS!!! They actually tear REAL greens for their salads.. NO bagged stuff for these peeps... OMgoodness.. I love it. I won't go into desserts.. The Chocolate chip cookies are made with real butter. Enough said. :) And they have the uber cool coke machine with the touch screen.. I can have a raspberry lime san pelligrino... My day is good when I visit there!!!

This cafe offers excellent food for lunch or dinner on the go. No frills in seating and atmosphere, but delicious sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Everything is fresh and freshly prepared after you order. Eat in, take out, or let them cater or bring box lunches to you. A tad pricey but worth it for the quality. Portion sizes are toward the large side of the spectrum, also a plus.

I have gone twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner and loved both times. The Salads are huge and yummy. Sandwiches are really nice. The thing I was impressed with was their swift preparation and how beautiful the presentation was on the plate. They have the cool soft drink machine with a million choices. I thought that was really cool. Just a fun place to go and eat something nice without the grease! Prices were very reasonable and they are now in the Cache Valley Savings Guide so you get a buy one meal and get one free! Go try it out!

I really do enjoy apple spice. Fast preparation and still a great presentation. I had the herb chicken sandwich and it was fabulous . I can't say it was anything to jump out of your chair about but the chicken was tender and the ingredients were fresh. The pesto mayo is a nice touch too . I still have to put this place behind kneaders but it is a close second mind you. Definitely will be coming back

The first time I ate there, I really liked it - yummy sandwich. A few days later, I ordered the same thing to go and ended up giving it to my dogs. It was almost as if I'd gone to a different restaurant. (Egg salad sandwich)
