I've been dining here occasionally for about 15 years. The place has been in a bit of a downward spiral for the past five or six years. The food is still reasonably ok butt... The service though has finally hit my breaking point and I won't be back again. Today I was charged 11 cents for a glass of water when the food I had ordered totaled more than $15. The coney dogs were ok but were put into their containers upside down, so when they were opened the toppings went everywhere. The last two times I've visited the cashier has been chilly to the point I felt they were annoyed by my presence. I don't need 5 star service at a cheap burger joint but a "you're welcome" when I say thank you would be nice and would help offset that the cashier is mad about taking my order and doesn't know how to say "thank you". To the older than a teenage man I see working in the kitchen who I suspect is the owner or manager- You might want to get out of the kitchen and watch the service folks are getting. Your need to charge me 11 cents for a water might be related to the lack of service your former customers were provided.

I went to the Logan Utah store. I will usually go there for the freezes and onion rings and ordered those. I have always liked the onion rings however this new version with the 'crunchier' batter is all that needs to be said. It Is crunchier batter, a lot of it, to the point of lacerating the insides of my mouth with hardly any onion either. I kept eating them trying to get that burst of sweet tender onion...it never happened. For the $3.59 price you'd think there would be massive amounts of onions, but it just left a nasty residue in my mouth, the freeze was good but the Coney Dog tasted weirdly like ketchup chili. I won't waste my money again and will have to find another place to find what would be considered 'good' onion rings, Burger King's $1.00 onion rings are better than these and they don't cut up your mouth. Guess I am down to just getting their rootbeer freeze.

I just went through the drive thru and got the mushroom Swiss burger. It had so much pepper dumped on it that it was not edible, and the mushrooms were burnt. I'm usually a fan of a&w but the past 3 times I have been something like this happens. This burger was the most disgusting thing, wouldn't even call it a burger.

So, several of us were doing a group order for lunch. We were sending someone to the drive-thru with our order. We heard there was a papa burger combo on special. I called to confirm. The man who answered the phone said they were way to busy to tell me and then hung up on me. Not impressed. With all the burger places in town, we can gladly order elsewhere.

So I have been here a few times, and every time the food has been good. The portions are very small though. Their Papa burger is surprisingly small, but still good. They should rename it "Little Papa" and come out with a "Big Papa". So I was a little disappointed with spending $8 and feeling like I wanted to go through the drive through again for more. The fries are ok, equivalent to BK's. Their root beer is great, and I'm not even a fan of root beer. If you don't mind small portions, this is a great place.

Good ol' fashioned Root Beer...Everything. It really isn't too shabby, and it does make you want to dress up in poodle skirts and dance the jitterbug! When you go inside and order root beer floats, freezes, or simply a drink, it comes out in ice cold mugs! I enjoy getting an American Classic: Bacon Cheeseburger. I do have to say I've had better, but that's when also when I spent more than enough on one burger. For the price, it's pretty good. You also need to try the Coney Cheese Dog, it's an A&W "oldie but a goodie". Complete with their tasty meat sauce and dowsed in cheese. What's more American than a hot dog smothered in cheese? The only thing I can think of would be if a bald eagle delivered it straight to your table and your first bite was accompanied with the national anthem. Until that happens though, a cheese dog is pretty American. TIPS & TRICKS: * If you want water, be sure to pack an extra $0.11, I don't know what that deal is--but I don't think that's cool. * Outdoor seating is available, so check it out when it's not bitter cold; however, it's pretty cold inside too, so I guess you're not winning either way in that department. * Really though, the Root Beer is fantastic. Try a Root Beer Freeze and thank me later.

Agreed with everyone else its completely torn apart, seats are ripped up tables all dirty. The food isn't too bad, but the counter girls couldn't have a smile if there lives depended on it. Get on it owners fix up the classic joint or you'll be beaten easily by your competitors.

You can't expect much from fast food places, but this A&W is awful. The dining area was filthy; we couldn't avoid sitting at a dirty table because not a single one was clean. This made my burger, though average, far less enjoyable (I can't be the only one who gets anxious in dirty restaurants). I would recommend a remodel for this location. It desperately needs it.

I just tried to eat one of the Nastiest Cheeseburger combo meals that I purchased from A&W in Logan. I picked it up through the Drive Thru Window and only live 6 Blocks from the Resterant and I started eating as soon as I was home and the Papa Burger was cold as well as the fries. I will never eat there again as I have had to many poor meals than good from there...

My most favorite A&W's. Any of them in Cache Valley are awesome. You have to have the "Big Blue Special". The best burger and fries ever.
