Never properly staffed. On a Saturday, and always have one person making and ringing up the ice cream. Come on management..

The ice cream was delicious. She made me pumpkin pie! I would definitely come back. I saw people complained about seating, but it's no worse than going to any frozen yogurt place.

Pros: really good ice cream. Cons: the building did not have enough space. There were not that many seating areas. It also echo's. Good ice cream, bad location.

I had the frozen custard, cheesecake with a mix in and the flavors were just so so and the custard wasn't creamy at all. I probably wouldn't return.

This place can be addictive. The wide variety of flavors and toppings is limitless for sure. Seeing the frozen treat come together is fun just a bit slow with only one person doing the freezing.

Try it for its novelty but don't have high expectations. I just HAD to try it, and most people should - once. The taste was just so so. It's a spin off of the idea that Cold Stone and others like that with "made to order" mixed-in shops have already proven. I found the ice cream melted faster than normal. It also takes much longer to create the ice cream with the nitrogen than already having the ice cream made.

This really is the ultimate "how you like it" ice cream! It's literally made to your specific order. First you pick your base (premium cream, yogurt, custard, soy, and some other choices I forgot) Second you pick your flavors. There are a ton of different flavors that you can add to it. You're able to pick as many flavors as you want. They're free no matter how many. Third you pick your mix in. Stuff like brownies, candies, cheesecake, various toppings, etc. You can even bring in mix ins if you want more than 1 and don't want to pay more. 1 mix in is free. Each additional mix in was 50 cents (at time of this posting) Then you want them make your custom flavor. It's super fun to watch the liquid nitrogen turn your choices into ice cream. The "smoke" coming out gives it a magical feel. They typically will make your ice cream "soft" unless you specify a different hardness. There is a hardness guide on the glass. I usually get medium or hard if it's a larger portion. Also, if you start to eat your ice cream and its melting too fast ask them to refreeze it and they will. Only one word of caution that I have: I have noticed that the consistency of the ice cream is slightly different than that of the stuff you get in the store. It still tastes as nice though!

Good stuff. Remember when 31 flavors seemed like a lot? I did the math and there are about 2^59 variations that you can do. That's if you don't double up on toppings or something like that. I like that they have healthier options and allergy considerations. Every time I've gone, I've been greeted by helpful employees who - considering that they probably get asked the same question 50 times a day, and have to stand there while a person can't make up their mind for 10 minutes - are quite friendly. A few of my favorite concoctions: Almond milk, cinnamon flavor, cinnamon, marshmallow cream, and almonds Dr. Pepper, lime, and coconut flavorings

Shake it up! Actually, do NOT shake it up. The shakes are made by blending ice and the ice cream base which does not produce a very smooth result. Dislike. The ice cream though- that is amazing. Lets be honest with each other upfront- I am a slut for modernist cooking. So a good deal of my enjoyment of this place was the child like wonder their use of liquid nitrogen inspired in me. I feel no shame in admitting that I enjoyed the spectacle of it. The liquid nitrogen comes pouring out, sending smoke everywhere, its awesome. That being said the ice cream was also awesome. Here is the thing- they have 5 million flavors. When you get regular ice cream at a store you don't get 1 pint that has 30 flavors mixed into it. Companies don't sell that because it would be gross. Similarly, when you get to make your own ice cream you don't want to mix a bunch of random crap together- you want to be somewhat intelligent in what you pick. All the people in my group who didn't like what they got ordered something weird like Red Velvet Mountain Dew with gummy bears. People who stuck to reasonable big boy flavors all loved it. I'm guessing many of the negative reviewers made similar errors in judgement. Part of this is that the flavors are really strong- the mountain dew ice cream REALLY tastes like mountain dew, so the more flavors you combine the more they are likely to clash. So stick simple- one flavor, one or two mix ins- and you are set.

Watch out for bonus ingredients. I got an extra *three* hairs in mine. At least they didnt charge me for them. Maybe having the food uncovered isnt the best idea. While my order was ruined, I do love how they interact with the kids and send some smoke their way when making the ice cream. The employees were nice enough, but I won't be going back after having my stomach turned.

Horribly slow service. Ice Cream was decent, but the gimmick was lost on us.

Tried to go here the other night. Service is very slow. Waited in line for almost 20 minutes while the two people ahead of our group ordered and were served. It takes that long to make the ice cream. Then, after the first of our group ordered, their liquid nitrogen tanks ran out and that was the end of it. They said we could wait for the owner to show up, but I'd already waited almost half an hour. Not worth it.

This place was so great, the show was great, the ice cream is super smooth and the ability to choose any ice cream flavor i wanted was just fantastic! I will definitely be back soon.
