When compared to the time I first visited Asian Buffet, they had gotten better dramatically. I guess I visited this place more often lately due to one of my co-workers really love buffets. The décor was about the same as before, and same goes for the buffet tables. The sushi was about the same as before, much cream cheese and California rolls, one or two selections will have mostly fish inside. I have grown to love their spicy chicken dishes, they now, it was not super spicy by all mean, but just the right amount to make them tasty. The string beans had been hit and miss, sometime they were fresh, and other times were all old and mushy. They have some wontons and pork shumai, both were just ok. The Mongolian grill was not very good here, the guy doing the grill seems to have a trouble understanding English and he also has a bad attitude. After trying it on different occasion, it was always just warm and watery, as the grill was probably not hot enough. As for the fries stuff, most were just fried dough with mush inside, and chicken wings were probably the only decent there, sometime the egg rolls. If you speak Chinese, you will get special treatments and all the staffs here speak Chinese, or some dialog of it. They sometime bring you special house made food for customers that speaks their language. At least they give discounts to military personnel.

I thought this was better than any other Asian Buffett in the area. I mean it is a Buffett so you can't expect 4+ star food. I didn't really look at the tile or the carpet so it could have been gross. I did like their egg rolls, green beans, and this fried chicken coconut strips. It is just good food but nothing knocked my socks off. When I do a review I take into consideration the restaurant type and I'm not going to compare this to a normal sit down Asian restaurant. I thought overall it was good. I do have a concern when they take a glass from a table or from another table. I hope my same cup comes back. Kind of disgusting if you think about it too hard. The service was lacking for us as well. I ran out of water and several others ran out of drinks. I think they could do a lot better in service to make up for their other faults. Go for the variety of food offered but don't expect greatness.

We dropped in for lunch. Partially out of morbid curiosity. The chicken and pork creations were actually pretty tasty. Kind of weird, though, that one bar had Mac n cheese, fried chicken, garlic bread and pudding. What, and no spaghetti and meatballs? STICK WITH THE ASIAN FOOD. You're called the Asian Buffet. The single star is due to the heebie jeebie factor. The carpet is filthy. The tile is sticky. When they gave my wife and I refills on our soft drinks, our server took our glasses and asked what we were drinking, and then went to the NEXT table and took THEIR glasses for refills at the same time! HELLO! I really don't want to be drinking out of a stranger's glass. If they use such poor sanitary practices right in front of us, who knows what's going on behind closed doors in the kitchen. Spare yourself the cooties of the folks in the adjacent booth and drive right past this place and go to Chuck-O-Rama on Asian night. Your immune system can thank me later.

The restaurant is always packed because the food is delicious. You can never go wrong here--at least I haven't. The cleanliness is pretty good. I'd say it's my go-to buffet.

Went around 750pm on monday and it was not good. Nasty salty watery Mongolian. Almost all the food was not to temp. The dinner price for 10.99 is rediculous. It was worth maybe 4 that night. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I thought I had done a review on this before but I don't see it so I need to reiterate how much I enjoy it. The food is always fresh and after three times they knew me by face, lol. I always order the same sushi rolls four times and now when I go in they bring me my sushi rolls before I even order. If you don't like California rolls ask the sushi chef if he can make you what you want they have all the sushi fish there, he will make it for you. Karen is my fav server! She plays with my little girl and everyone that works there will drop what they are doing to take plates or get you a refill. The food is great, I feel satisfied not bloated when I leave like other places I've been.

Ugh. I've driven by this place dozens of times on my way to Sam's. First time stopping here - but I thought I'd compare it to the Hibachi Buffet, and my review of last week. It wasn't as good. Old, run-down, constricted space for getting around. (The restroom had a towel wrapped around one sink trap, & a plasic bag around the other - which kind of illustrated how the whole place "feels" to me.). I think I'm done with the Asian buffet experiments now. Not a fan. One & done for this place.

I just moved to Clearfield and I really like chinese buffets like this. The food is usually more authentic and you can get a few things like dumplings that aren't usually on the menu unless you are at a buffet. And there is the added bonus of having a few other Asian non-chinese dishes. This particular place has a hibachi so you can get whatever you like cooked for you on the spot. They also have sushi which seems to be a new fad. Cleanliness is a serious issue that can make or break a place like this. I was not dissapointed. The place was kept very clean, we even felt comfortable trying the sushi. The place was pretty busy when we went which might account for the apparent absense of service. They were very busy turning over tables and I we had to wait a while to get drink refills as well as the bill. This was a little disappointing but it's a buffet so not a deal breaker, what do you need the waiter for anyway.

Yay! Finally found a great buffet in the SLC area... We went here on Sunday (12/19/10). We got there right after they opened, so everything was hot and fresh. There was a very good selection of Sushi, Traditional dishes, fruit, salad, appetizers, etc. I normally do not eat Sushi on a buffet....EVER!, but I watched the Sushi chef prepare it and it was delish! The servers are not the friendliest, but I'll take that to get good eggrolls. Edit:: We went back again and had the BEST server...I wish I could remember his name, but my hubs and I both have asian tattoos and it was nice to hear from someone who really knows...their true meaning (YES...no surprises...the tattoos are what we thought they were!!!) Anyways, everytime we have been it's been great! It's def. worth the drive from Salt Lake,...although the New Years Resolution doesn't have this place in mind...it will have to be on a cheat day...that's for sure!!!

By far the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Food is not fresh at all. Plus the workers are absolutely rude. Everytime I go here I always get stomach aches. Save your money and go somewhere else!! If I could give negative stars I would

My company decided to reward its employees by going to this establishment. When we passed the food bar, I noticed flies swarming on some of the items. My colleagues partook of the orange chicken, which I found to taste like the diseased embryo of a pig. I stuck to the Rice Krispy treats, and found them to be the more tolerable of the items in the food bar. The kung pow chicken tasted more of dung than pow. While it is true that I have a western palate, I'll tell you one thing my friends... I forgot what I was going to say. I'm sure it wasn't important. I guess I was hoping for a pleasant thought. Overall, it was a disappointment. I'm lucky that I didn't get scurvy and some other kinds of oriental sicknesses passed on by stowaways on the Santa Maria that founded this restaurant. On a positive note, the rice krispy treats were okay, and the water was cold.

The food is really good at this place but the cleanliness and staff are just ok. The staff are not very friendly and the restaurant seems to need a makeover. I feel like they are more interested getting your money than making sure you have had a good experience. I think the girl who works the register can swipe a debit card faster than she can make you feel welcome. I only go here maybe twice a year just for the food. Don't expect anything else as far as staff or cleanliness.

Got here @ 5pm , had to wait a little to get a table for 2, not a big deal for that time. When we finally got seated, we ended up in the back room and we were literally stuck in the corner. Felt like I was in the naughty corner. All the soups were basically empty and the food trays were empty or had very little in them and nothing was being re-filled!!! The food that I did have tasted rotten!!! I ended up leaving still hungry and went to Chick-Fil-A..lol

To say this was the worst place I've ever eaten wouldn't be far off. The run down nature of everything's for a bit leery, but then the tasteless food was bad. Got worse when I tried the Mongolian BBQ I had more oil than food when it was put on my plate. Then I get the bill and because we came in just after 4 the prices were dinner and not worth it! I will never eat here again and would discourage anyone from ever eating either. YUCK!!! (Wishing there were negative stars for the time ever on Yelp!)

I would never ever ever go here again. I went here today with my boyfriend and don't get me wrong the food is great, but he ate a bowl of Egg Drop soup and near the bottom he found a giant black hair. So to be pollite we told the people who worked there so they could remove the soup from the buffet before anyone else ate it. THEY DID NOT REMOVE THE SOUP FROM THE BUFFET!!!!! They just said they don't know who put the hair there. We immediately decided not to continue eating and we paid and left. Very unsanitary. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

Generally I am not a fan of asian food but my husband loves it beyond reason. He started going to the Asian Buffet for lunch fairly often because I wouldn't go with him for dinner. Finally about a year ago I went because that was where he wanted to go for his birthday. I fell in love with the place. The variety of dishes is wonderful. The quality of the dishes is delicious. The service is great. The have huge muscles cooked with a sauce and cheese that my husband loves. He also loves the mongolian BBQ grill where he can select the items he wants grilled. I love the Indian Chicken, very spicy and the chicken in it is delicious. I also love the Sweet & Sour Chicken, it's lightly breaded and the chicken isn't fatty or icky. I love all the shrimp! I also have to mention the sushi. It's not a big selection but it's very good with wonderful pieces of tuna, salmon and eel.

We've been here twice now. Both times a little wary but nevertheless hungry and needed food. The cleanliness definitely leaves something to be desired. OR maybe its just the lighting and the old old carpet. They were vaccuuming when we were there. With a Shark even! But it still gave off that "I'm an old dirty building" feel. The dishes have their ups and downs. I had some mushroom thing that was actually quite good. It was in a garlicky sauce, not too greasy, not too sweet, not too spicy. Decent. The husband found an Indian Chicken dish that was spicy and had great flavor. He loved it. Some of the dishes had definitely been sitting too long and some just had no flavor. We watched one of the employees prepare a fresh California roll so we decided we could trust it and I ate probably 3 rolls worth. Best part of the meal fo sho. I do wish they had had more of a variety though. The beef and broccoli is usually a favorite of mine, but it was just too ugh here to enjoy much. The broccoli was limp and the beef was chewy. Plenty of options for a picky 3 year old that only wanted watermelon and rice. They had a small salad bar, a large offering of fresh fruits, puddings and jello. A good sized dessert bar, though i was disappointed that they didn't have an ice cream machine. They just had little cartons of individual serving ice cream that was alright but not great. I don't know what it is about buffets similar to this, but they always have the BEST ice cream. More of an ice milk than a cream. But oh so yummy. Too bad they didn't have it though. I'd probably stick to going here when the food is definitely more fresh and not an hour before closing, but we didn't get food poisioning either. Not somewhere i'd stop on a regular basis but if I'm ever in the mood to stuff myself with California rolls and not pay more than $10 a person I will stop in again.

Went here last night.... Thought the food would be fresh cuz it was so busy..... Not so much! The peel and eat shrimp were mushy in texture.... Food was sloppy .... Greasy .... Definitely not fresh. Only a few items were fresh.... Everything else sat out till it was gone. No quality control ... Sushi was horrible ... Rubbery seaweed... Hard to chew. I Barely made it home and threw up my whole meal... Never again!!
