It was super busy when we were there for Holladay's blue moon festival so they should have planned ahead with more employees. Fortunately we could get our drinks and didn't have to wait for them to be served. Great pebble ice! The fries and onion strings were okay. I liked the cheeseburger with sautéed mushrooms. If we didn't have to wait so long to order and receive our food, we might have tried shakes as we were still hungry after our meals. But not enough time.

Nothing bad to say about TB. Good burgers, good fries every time we've come here (and delish fry sauce too!) It's in the neighborhood, so it's easy for a quick meal when the fat kid craving hits. Haven't tried the shakes, but I'd like to. So far I haven't been able to fathom adding one to what is already max calorie intake of the day. Definitely satisfies. Oh and they offer lettuce wraps instead of a bun (but beware, it's just regular lettuce, so not exactly handheld).

8 1/2 months pregnant and they fed me raw chicken. We're not talking kind of pink it was very raw. In apology they gave us two free burger coupons, as if I ever want to eat here again. Not impressed.

Came in when I heard of these guys on the KSL nightside project. Great burger, great fries. Awesome service.

First time here not the best burgers, seems to be blend not much flavor to the meat, just don't have that fresh taste. I felt for the price the burgers were not that much better then Apollo or Carl's Jr,

I've had Tonyburgers a few times over the last year and I just don't get the huge appeal; it seems like a ripoff of Five Guys. The burger is a build your own with pretty standard toppings and their meat is a three meat blend, but it honestly doesn't taste any different than the usual burger you could get anywhere else. Tonyburger seems to also follow the seemingly Utah trend of salting the meat to the point where it seems like they have a pipeline to the store from the Salt Flats. I really enjoy their fries, I am a really big fan of Shoestring Fries, but again with the salt. I don't like having to pause every three seconds to brush my hands off. I have resorted to using a fork here now to avoid that. I love their shakes. All of the different ones that I have had there have all been great, specifically their Caramel one. But their chocolate and cookies and cream are fantastic choices as well. Overall, Tonyburgers isn't a bad place, but I'd rather go to a chain where they use less salt on everything and the burgers taste better.

I've tried Tonyburgers several times in the past couple months (my sister really likes it!). But I just don't get the huge appeal. The burgers are good, not great, but good. It is a build your own combination burger with your standard toppings... the only non-standard toppings are pickled jalapenos, grilled onions, swiss cheese, or BBQ sauce. So nothing like pineapple or blue cheese or anything more exotic. The thing is, I am really disappointed in their fries. They were voted as best fries by Salt Lake Magazine but I don't get it. Of the last 3 times I have been to Tonyburgers, all 3 times I have ended up with cold and limp fries. Not good! I understand their shakes are good but I have never tried them. The one thing I like about Tonyburgers (vs other burger joints) is their rewards program. Each time you fill up a punch card you graduate to the next level of punch card which gives you greater rewards. Genius and generous.. But honestly, I would prefer to go to a 5-guys chain restaurant for better burgers and better fries. Tonyburgers is a place i want to like, I've just had consistently average experiences and I don't think it is worth returning - unless my sister wants to go.

Not terribly impressed by service, food quality or quantity. Better step it up guys. Freddy's is coming to the valley and will literally eat your lunch. Your shakes are decent but the amount of chicken for the salad was pretty sad and the attention paid to teenagers not making a lot of noise should have gone towards getting the order correct.

Maybe we came on a bad night. Service was pretty slow. It was a Friday night, the place was packed, and there was one person taking orders for a very long line of people. We paid $30 for the WORST meal ever. The wedge salad sucked. It was all lettuce, with a tiny sprinkling of flavorless tomatoes and onions and weird, miniscule bacon bits. My husbands burger crumbled into tiny pieces. The only high spot was the strawberry coconut shake, but it cost $4.59 for what I consider a small shake. Blah.

Was studying next door at 3 Cups for the first time and began to crave some burgers. Fortunately, I remembered a sign for some burger joint located next door...called Tonyburger? Taking it as a sign, I knew I had to give it a try. There are so many burger joints in Utah that admittedly, I was a little skeptical at first. The menu is simple as it should be. The Little Tony is (1/4lb) and Big Tony is (1/3lb). I ordered the Big Tony, added another patty for 2 bucks, added a fried egg for a dollar and added the Southern Kick Ranch which sounded delicious . I'm in the middle of a diet where I am fooling myself into thinking that I'm on a diet by foregoing fries so the burger was all I got. Honestly, the burger was delicious. Maybe because I was really hungry eating a 2/3lb burger, but the addition of the egg and the Southern Kick Ranch sauce really made me a fan of this place and if I'm ever back studying next door, I will definitely be back!

I don't know what Tonyburgers location the people complaining of noise and grime and unruly babies with loaded diapers went to, but it certainly wasn't this place. And if it was, it had to have been a very bad day for all involved - staff included. When we went (at noon on a Saturday) it was clean and the other diners were well-behaved. The only smell was that of french fries. Anyway, this was pretty good and satisfying. The burgers are reminiscent of a high-quality Steak n' Shake. Good flavor. The fry sauce is good here, too. It has that zing. And the shakes (my kids got chocolate and caramel flavors, which I sampled) were super thick, frosty & rich. Another solid burger joint in SLC out of many. Why I gave 3 stars instead of four is I feel the price point is just a tad high. If you go for a Jr. size, a small drink and don't order many shakes, you can keep it reasonable. But if you order regular sized burgers and a few shakes, you're talking over $50 to feed your family good, but not mind-blowingly good, "fast" food. If they took it down a skosh, I'd rate it higher. But with all the other top-notch cheeseburgers in town that you can get for less cash, Tonyburgers loses its edge.

Oh joy...another "gourmet" burger franchise. The burger was fine...not unlike a billion other burgers out there. I would see no reason to rush back for another one. The highlight of the burger was the nice thick bacon on top. Fries...super skinny...and I like that. Some might not like their rather limp texture. The older lady at the cash register was refreshingly pleasant. She even counted out my change...rare these days. Be careful with the slippery floor. I almost wiped out on the greasy painted concrete.

Tonyburgers serves up hamburgers and fries that are far from great. I've made the mistaken of eating at a Tonyburgers twice now and I won't be fooled a third time. If you want a good burger and fries I'd recommend going someplace else.

Mistakes happen and if they do, they do everything they can to make it right! Which I like to call that good service plus the food being tasty on top of that! This is going to be a weekly place for my family and I!

It was a pretty average experience eating out. I had the veggie burger, which was alright. The rest of our group didn't love their burgers, but thought they were fine. Fries were fine. It gets pretty busy sometimes. Nothing special about it, and I think I'd go to Crown Burgers, Hires, or Apollo burger first, but there was nothing wrong with it and it is close by for us.

One if the best burger and shakes I have ever had and the location in downtown Holladay could not be better. If you don't want a burger then they have pretty good salads as well.

Average at best. Meh salads limp fries and onion rings. Shakes were rich. Very noisy, stand in line to order. Wouldn't come here again.

Amazing burgers! Killer fries! The atmosphere is a bit industrial, but I go for flavor and this food has it. Burgers - yes, there is grease. Wonderful, flavorful grease from their blend of three cuts of beef. This is a "put your face in it", four napkin kind of burger. The options for toppings are extensive; customize for your craving. Fries - yes, the perfect fry is a subjective thing. These are hand cut and deep fried to perfection. Not like those dry kindling sticks at the Golden Arches. They are slender and tender with just the right amount of golden brown. The fry sauce is the crowning touch. Cons - yes, the decor is not inviting. If there's a crying baby or loud group, you'll know it immediately. But I will go back again and again for the great burgers - atmosphere be damned.

I'm a fan! I am by no means a burger connoisseur, but this place definitely hit the spot. I liked being able to build my own burger and the tony sauce is delicious. The taco ranch sauce is also awesome.

Great burgers! The burgers are full of flavor and made fresh! The buns are delicious and fit just right. I had the "Big Tony" with mushrooms and Swiss with the Tony sauce. Everyone at our table had something different and had the same reviews for their burger. I also had one of their shakes and it was delicious too. Give it a shot and you won't be disappointed.

Definitely disappointing! Very crowded and a lot of noise from the many families with young children who were allowed to climb, run and yell in the place. Food was mediocre at best-luke warm burgers, fries were nothing new. What really got our attention though, was how dirty and messy the lobby was. Made me wonder what the food prep area looked like....more like worry; not wonder. And there was an unpleasant smell...kind of like an unbathed child, or a dirty diaper. Did I mention the flies in the trash can? Ewww

Best fries ever and the burger with an egg and mushrooms on it is the best I think I'm going to head there now for lunch cause just thinking about it's deliciousness makes me hungry.

Burgers we're okay. Mine was charred and the tomatoes were mush (at a time were tomatoes are in season and delicious). The strawberry coconut shake was imitation flavors and rather gross. The fries were good and they had malt vinegar to put on top for you Brits and Canadians. Overall it was just meh.

Terrible... If you like grease, this is the place for it. Burger was average and expensive. For half the price I could have had a Double Double "Animal" at In-N-Out and had a much better burger. Five Guys also far superior and cheaper. The onion rings were saturated and dripping in grease. The restaurant was FILTHY and the employees were simply standing around. We're "Foodies" trust this review and make a better choice, we had high hopes. Not sure who they paid off at Salt Lake Magazine for the awards on the walls?

Had a Big T burger that was overcooked and dry. Eight bucks for a burger seems pricey. Not recommended.
