Sushi Monster Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Sushi Monster is hit-or-miss... Sometimes they're the most superior sit-down restaurant in Station Park, & sometimes the experience is abysmal. Knowing that it's going to be a "dine at my own risk" situation... I only go there when I'm really craving sushi AND I don't have time to drive to SLC (for Takashi). The atmosphere is pretty noisy. The restaurant sports high ceilings, and tables are placed very close together. On my most recent visit, my server was phenomenal! This isn't always the case. It goes back to the whole theme of my review: it's just the luck of the draw. You can never be sure about whether you'll have excellent waitstaff, & sushi chefs. Or not... Anyway, about the food. The edamame is wonderful. But really, how can you mess it up? Any of the tempura/fried sushi rolls are sub-par. I wouldn't order them again. I'm talking about the Vegas roll: et al. They're too greasy. It's like the dredge the rolls in batter, multiple times, before they fry them. They're just not light & crispy. Another thing; I'm not a fan of the fact that they use Krab, with a capital "K". Meh. Any of the other rolls are a good bet. The Lovers Roll, & Volcano roll being my favorites! Also, their original Yum-Yum sauce is just that! Surprisingly yummy. I haven't written Sushi Monster off, entirely (the way I have Twigs...). I know what to expect. And the fact that it's reasonably priced... It's definitely a viable Davis County dining option.

Great location, the food is excellent. I have not a found a roll I don't like. Great quality, and variety. If there is one thing to improve it would be the service, it's not terrible, but it's not great. I will go back again and again,

Stopped in for a quick lunch and left pleasantly full and content with my sushi lunch for $9.95. Miso soup, salad, 5 pieces of assorted nigiri and a California roll. The soup was a bit salty and the salad had way too much dressing. However, the sushi was fresh and I thought the portions were large. Service was friendly and helpful. What really knocked my socks off was when one of the servers, Kenneth, started singing happy birthday to a customer. My oh my. He has one hell of a voice.

My husband and I went to Sushi Monster last night before a movie on a Friday night. It was busy but service was prompt and freshly made. The Calamari was delicious and the two rolls we order met or expectations! It was a bit noisy there which was difficult to hear dinner conversation , but over all we were pleased.

I hate to be so wishy washy about this place, but it's not consistent. One days it's incredible, the next it's average. One day the service is awesome, the next it's below par. One day they take AMX, the next they don't. I guess that my biggest issue, consistency.... Be consistent with what you are bringing to the consumer. Try to retain staff that do a good job, make sure the food is always consistent and don't change it up and pay the dishwasher just a little more so the plates, soy boats and glassware are clean for the public. (Sorry, nothing make me question a restaurant that to have dirty dishes on the table when you arrive). Okay, that's my rant for now.

This place is quite good. I've only been once, but I'm probably overdue for a return visit. I got the tempura dish, while my girlfriend had some sushi rolls. Both of our dishes were very good, and I enjoyed the experience here. It's a nice location, and we had a nice window seat :) My girlfriend especially enjoyed the Volcano roll, it's definitely one of her favorite rolls she's ever had! Judging by how much she craves that Volcano roll, we will be back soon!

Sushi Monster isn't the best sushi in UT, but it is 1) conveniently located at Farmington's Station Park, 2) provides consistent quality for the price and 3) has friendly and consistent service. I have been to this location a half-dozen times and find it to be a pleasant experience each time with no complaints. My main disappointment and the reason it is only average sushi is they use Krab (imitation stuff) vs real Crab. I know this is why they can keep their prices reasonable for a sushi establishment, but I won't eat Krab and thus this eliminates many rolls. Will definitely continue to visit this establishment when craving sushi and not able or willing to drive to SLC or Ogden.

Horrific. We walked out after waiting an hour after ordering getting cold edamame and all drinks with no ice?????? I have seen this location service struggles but this is a first visit and last. I have never walked out before. Make it worse they couldn't have possibly cared less we left.

I can't get enough of this place. Oddassa and Dino are in my top 5. So very fresh and delish!

After hearing some bad things about Sushi Monster in the WVC, I was a little skeptical about their Farmington location. I was meeting a friend here for lunch, and the restaurant is located relatively close to the big parking lot on the west side of the shopping complex. The rolls were actually quite big here compared to most restaurants in town. We got some Calamari for starter. Then a few rolls including Dynamite, Lover, Japanica, and Volcano. Calamari was just ok, I think it could use an extra 30s to a min in the fryer. All of the rolls were quite big in size, or rather monster size? Japanica and Volcano were regular size, the plating for Volcano was not as good as another picture shown in the listing. The most notable Dynamite had a nice crispy to it. Lover had an interesting concept, and I would recommend it to any couples dining here. Overall I did not think it was as bad as some of the rumor that I heard from their WVC stores, maybe they operate differently at the Farmington location. Not bad, I would enjoy going there again.

One of my favorite places to get sushi. Costumer care is amazing, employees are awesomely kind and the food is authentically amazing would recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi!!

Being somewhat of a sushi connoisseur , having had sushi at hundreds of locations around the world, I was looking forward to trying this one in my new hometown. The atmosphere and location were great as I do love the Farmington center. Inside is nicely decorated, bright and we were seated almost immediately. Our waitress couldn't have even more friendly and helpful. The reason for being there however was the sushi and all the types we ordered fell well short of expectations. First each roll was excessively stuffed with cucumber that FAR overwhelmed the taste. The fish, regardless of the type of roll was the smallest portion I have ever been served. Again, another reason I only tasted cucumber. Additionally a roll will usually come with 7 to 8 pieces and ours came with 6. The Wasabi was brownish in texture and I assume it was past its age and therefore was also lacking flavor. Overall a pretty poor experience. All I can guess is that this places caters to those who have never experienced good sushi. It's sad because they can be so much better. I will return to try the teppanyaki grill section.

The food is completely forgettable. The horrible service, however, is not. Empty during lunch and we still waited 45 minutes from the time we were seated to the time we received our rolls. No water refills. I'm pretty sure our server was painfully agoraphobic. Atmosphere was cold, too spacious, and completely uninviting. I think the experience was miserable for all involved...

Sushi Monster is incredible! The manager was VERY friendly and helpful. The food that she recommended was amazing! They have really good sushi rolls. And they have many options that a vegetarian or a vegan would enjoy! The food came out quickly and was prepared with the upmost care. I would definitely come here again and I highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Got a lot of time on your hands? This may be your place if you like really slow service...although I've seen them try to rush us out the door as well. Maybe, they'll find the happy medium at some point. The tempura isn't that great, all else is pretty good though. Take out? Add 10 mins to the time they tell you your food will be ready, and then wait another 5 mins for them to bring it to the front.

Sat at the bar for a quick lunch and ended up there long enough to see four sets of people (2-6 person groups) get seated, order, pay, and leave. It took about 30m just from the time of sitting down to get them to take our drink orders, then it took about 45m to get our actual food. I had the lunch special which is a great deal, except the roll I ordered wasn't on the menu and ended up being deep fried which I was trying to avoid. I was less than impressed by the sushi choice. Basic sushi for basic chicks. Bring your frappes, beeshes. This is your joint. Snap that duck face to your bar.

Sushi Monster is a nice little Asian restaurant nestled in Station Park near the cineplex. The space is clean, well organized, and befitting of a sushi house. You would think, then, that the sushi bar would be a great place to sit when ordering lunch. First off, the sushi bar is a bit high or the chairs are too low. You end up sitting up to the bar, almost like a toddler sitting in a table. If they're following the rule of "elbows off the table," then fine. However, it means that you have to scoot up closer to the bar and lean in to eat your food. I was willing to let that go. It's a design flaw and it can easily be fixed. The service, however, is not a design flaw and, I'm afraid, is not as easily fixed. During my lunch in the area, I sat at the bar and waited for a half hour for two sushi rolls. Yes, just two rolls. My water and thai tea came out promptly, along with a free side of miso soup that was pretty tasty, but the rolls took forever. During my half hour wait, I looked around and noticed that the people sitting at the tables and booths were getting checked on frequently and getting served before me, even if they came in after me. Granted, some had ordered rice and noodle dishes, but some had ordered sushi and their food came out before mine. My waitress only stopped by once around 20 minutes in to fill my water and to inform me that my rolls were coming. After that, my water wasn't refilled again. When my food finally came, it was delicious. The Dynamite Roll had a hint of spice and the fried tempura in it was crunchy, flaky, and light. The Krab Roll was savory and refreshing, a nice balance to the Dynamite Roll. About ten minutes after I finished my food, the waitress finally stopped by to drop of my check. She had been friendly, but waiting a half hour for two rolls, however delicious, and hardly getting water was kind of a bummer. The next time I swing by, I'll take a table. Maybe then I'll actually get timely service. I encourage you to do the same.

We went here for a girls night. Everybody liked their sushi, but my roll was just okay. I'm not a huge sushi fan, so I'm very picky about what I like. I got a deep fried roll (I believe it was the Vegas roll, but it's been over a month so I'm not positive) and there was wayyyy too much cream cheese. If I'm going to sushi with friends, I would stick with Tona in Ogden or some of the better places in SLC. If you're not picky about sushi, and you're in the area, you'll probably still like this place.

Wanted something quick by the hotel! I discovered a whole beautiful mall less than a mile away. I walked in for take out and was greeted right away! I ordered Cali roll, philly, spicy tuna and spicy crab. Really good for a quick bite to eat

Delicious food and open later on Sunday's than the other restaurants. Friendly service and a very nice environment. Hibachi Steak plate was outstanding and a ton of art goes in to the sushi rolls. The Bento box is perfect to share before or after seeing a movie.

    K. Service was good both times I've been here. Great ambiance. Clean dinning area. Here's my beef(s): -Some errors (too many), both times, and for some reason, with how clear the serving staff is, ima guess it's the kitchen. -Some fish was frozen prior to serving (that broken up, super watery, thawed too fast texture) ie nasty escolar, snapper - Who the hell serves a philly roll with Imitation Krab instead of smoked salmon?!? The kitchen said it "to set them apart from the other places"... Wha? Mission accomplished! Your roll is way crappier than anyone in town. Yay! That is all. Glhf

Sushi was delicious. Had the Vegas and the Lover's. Very good sushi all around. Service was ok, a little slow. Definitely would be back if in the area.

FARMINGTON, UT: The Sushi Monster is a nice addition to the new mall here. I didn't have high expectations coming in, and I heard the service stinks, so I bought take out ;). The rolls I had were both delicious, consistent, generously portioned and well priced. Five stars. If there are pitfalls on the menu and service, I dodged them and can only rate the two rolls I enjoyed; they were delicious. The ambience is pretty modern but not inspired. It's fine for a business lunch or date. The waitstaff was pleasant and they made good recommendations from the over large menu on my take-out order. FOOD: The rolls were very good; I was pleasantly surprised. Served artfully with generous portions at a fair price. They play it safe: both rolls I had were fairly mild and had safe ingredients--like mayo, cream cheese and avocado, served sweet--that appeal to most conservative palettes. That's what you should do for this part of Utah, however, if you are to be profitable, and the result tasted very good. The edible equivalent of a Katy Perry song: derivative, yes, but captures the attention. Vegas Roll ($10/4 stars): This roll was really good: warm, thick crunchy tempura exterior with a generous amount of meat inside it. Eel sauce and aoli, sweet and savory, not much spice but a smooth cream cheese finish. Very good. Volcano Roll ($10/5 stars): Wow, very good as well: sweet-savory finish, sesame, crab, cream cheese. Not spicy, which was a surprise for a volcano roll, and has a more "traditional" sushi finish with rice, sesame, scallions, avocado and wasabi.

Sorry guys, don't eat here. I keep trying to give them second chances because I love sushi, but I get food poisoning every time. The quality of ingredients is horrible. Might as well buy sushi from a grocery store. I used to work here, so I feel bad leaving such a bad review. I quit because the servers were treated poorly by the manager and the kitchen is disgusting. It is not sanitary at all. I'm officially done eating there and I will never go back. I get nauseous just thinking about it.

Worst service ever. The sushi is average. My husband called beforehand to make a reservation and was cut off every time he started to speak. We get there and the waiter at the front completely ignores us and walks away. Someone finally sits us and we order the first chance we got. We ordered steamed gyoza and some sushi. We waited 30 minutes and our waiter kept saying our food will be right out. The next time she said that I said ok so our gyoza will be out soon? She said yes. Who wants to eat their appetizer with their meal? Well another ten minutes rolls by and our sushi comes. No gyoza. She then comes back with FRIED gyoza and tells us it's on the house. Which was nice, but it wasn't what we ordered and came after our meal. All in all.... Ok food, awful service. Edit: throwing up all night after eating here. Got food poisoning from here. Will never be returning.

We love eating here, they are always so accommodating. Ling is the best and she always makes us feel like family. Taylor is a kick ass waitress!

Wait staff and management are great. Miso soup is tasty but gritty. House Roll is nearly too large to fit in your mouth. Flavor was clean and simple. Not bad. Mexican Roll took 30 more minutes. Again, huge. Impossible to eat in one bite. Flavor was muddled. The wait time for food is what killed the visit for me.

*UPDATE* I've visited again numerous times and the verdict is: I really like this place. The sushi is great, the service (depending on the time you go and your server) can be really good. The atmosphere is really nice and the pricing isn't bad for the amount and quality of sushi that you get. Overall 4/5 stars (the variable service being the only thing that holds it back from it's last star).

Friendly staff and good food. I had the Yellowtail Nigiri and it was larger than expected and tasted wonderful. The Dino roll was very good too.

I went there with my friend on a Tuesday night. It was pretty busy but we were starving. We were seated quickly and got our drink order and soup quickly. It took forever to place our food order, probably 15 minutes. I don't blame the waiter though, poor guy was running around like crazy. We finally order and I got the chicken teriyaki and my friend got 3 sushi rolls. After about 30 minutes her sushi came out and about 10 minutes later my chicken came out. It was good, but not good enough that I would go back. I didn't get my fried rice until we were just about to leave. There are much cheaper and more filling sushi places out there but The atmosphere was pretty chill and the inside is nice and clean. If anything I feel bad for the staff for having to juggle as much as they did.

Food is always good.. service was lacking big time. It's sad when the server apologizes for not being attentive to you on a not terribly busy night.

Former waiter here. The food can sometimes take a while, especially if it's during rush hour but overall the food here is excellent! A nice gem in the middle of this land locked state. Personally I recommend the Vegas Roll. It's classic and most customers enjoy it. Avoid rush hour! Servers are way too busy and food can take a very long time to make. You won't get the best service when the entire place is packed. One thing I'd like to state is that management is currently taking 25% off of all waiters tips. That tips you left at the table for your service? 25% is being taken and used to pay of the chefs and cooks. Along with being wildly illegal, it's unfair to the workers. When I leave a tip I expect 100% to go to the server. If I wanted to tip the chefs, I would. Please understand this when you're tipping. If you want to tip the chefs, there's a tip jar at the sushi bar. Overall good food and service. Would go again.

For being 800 miles from the coast, the food is actually quite good. The service is like the food is being shipped in from another country. I've been here multiple times (it's close to my home) and EVERYTIME service has been super slow. Waitress does not want to refill my tea or water. Hard to understand why basic service is so hard to perform.

Soooo good. Tastes super fresh. It was packed when i got here so i started reading reviews and everyone said they are slow. They actually werent to bad. Special ordered the "green globe" and mochi was great as well.

There should be no hesitation when choosing this place!! They have a really great AND delicious deal! You get to choose "3 items" for a bargain and you leave full without breaking the bank!! Quality has been spot on every time!! Definitely coming back with all my peeps!!

Got seated, waited for 15 solid minutes for a waiter, nothing. Walked out and the hostess told me "thanks for coming!". Dumb experience.

The first time we went was when they first opened. The experience was just blah- sushi just so-so. We decided to try it again (been about a year or so), great food. Good fish and nice options of rolls. Hot green tea is the loose leaf brown rice kind we love. The only down side is that it's next door to my yoga - so I have to fight the temptation after every workout :)

Good sushi and the service was awesome. I had the Dynamite roll (really really good) Black dragon roll (I've had better) and the Mars roll which was pretty good. I loved their fried rice and miso soup... And server was very friendly and prompt.

2 stars may be a stretch, but I'm allowing it only because this place is nice and clean at the very least. So, I'm in farmington for work and flying solo. So, i was quick to seat at the bar on a Saturday night at 8:30pm. I kept trying to get the sushi chefs attention until I realized they don't take orders. I waited 15 minutes for a waitress to finally take my drink order. However, I ordered my beer, the miso soup, and the crazy horse roll all together because I had no idea if I'd ever see a server again. I wait 10 more minutes and the beer finally arrives. Then I wait another 40 minutes, finish my beer, and the hostess randomly comes up to tell me they're "still working on the roll. 2 minutes. Would you like another miso?" The miso was more broth-like than miso, but the flavor was ok. Perhaps, a little salty. Having a second soup was a meaningful gesture for the wait. 15 minutes pass and I've now chewed my own arm off because I'm voraciously hungry and even more delayed on my digestive quest. Finally, The crazy horse roll arrives. Almost surprisingly, the roll is actually quite good. It has a nice blend of favors, crisp tempura crunch, and the perfect level of spice. Some sushi places go overboard with the sauces and mask the wonderfully complex and subtle flavors that good sushi exhibits. However, on the this crazy horse roll, the light level of eel sauce and spicy mayo complimented the crab and shrimp very well. It was flavorful , well balanced, and just plain tasty. Overall, the crazy horse roll was excellent, miso soup - subpar, but the 1 hour. 20 minute wait from being sat down and getting food was exceptionally poor. Granted, it was "busy" on a Saturday night, but at least 20% of the tables were still empty. Who knows what they're like at max capacity?!? I will never return to this establishment and will avoid their chain elsewhere in the future.

This is one of the best spots north of Salt Lake! I'm not kidding, it's that good. I am not a big fan of "speciality" rolls, and opt for nigiri. Quality, freshness and portion in that order. It's not Tokyo, New York, or San Francisco, but Sushi Monster is the best sushi north of Takashi and Naked Fish. Hamachi and tako portions are of good quality, very fresh, and twice the size of anyone in UT. Also to note - this place is run like a Swiss train station; clean, orderly and on time. A winner!

Sushi Monster started in West Valley City and I was exciting to see that they were adding a new location in the Station Park complex. Since the restaurant is still a little new they don't yet have a fancy sign outside; however, they are open for business and the manger -- Ling Ling -- told me that they will be getting a new sign next week. This is good news, because without a sign it's a little hard to spot. I was going to take a photo from outside, but decided to wait until the sign appears. The restaurant itself has modern asian design that's quite cozy. Overall, I love the design of the interior and I feel like it does a great job of showcasing their quality of food. It's located next to ParkStone Wood Kitchen, on the west side of the theater. I've been waiting for a sushi restaurant to come into this area and I'm glad to see that it's Sushi Monster. The quality of the food is really good. I ordered two rolls: the BMW Roll and the Pink Dragon Roll. The presentation was excellent, definitely on par with some of the fancy sushi restaurants downtown. The quality of the presentation extended to the flavor and freshness of the fish as well. The BMW Roll was very flavorful. The combination of the spicy tuna and mayo really excited my tastebuds. The sauce, I feel like, enhanced the overall flavor of the roll and did not distract from the quality of the fish. The Pink Dragon roll was my favorite out of the two rolls though. Tempura shrimp on the inside with salmon and avocado on top. Definitely a mix of flavors, but not too strong. I definitely recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover. I have to say, I've been to many sushi restaurants in Utah and this has to be the best sushi restaurant in Davis County. I used to go to Osaka or Sushi Ya when I didn't want to go down to Salt Lake, but both of those places pale in comparison to this place. It's modern it's upscale, and I love it!

Love, love, love this place. The food is delicious, whether you prefer sushi or cooked entres. The manager is a doll and will take care of you. Just don't be a jerk and show up during peak hours with a party of 12 expecting your food to come out fast. Sushi takes time to prepare.

Went the other day with my daughter. Caprice got a roll that had avocado, crab and cucumber in it, it was really quite good. I got the shrimp and veg. tempera. also very good. The batter they use is very thick and crunchy. If you take leftovers home you will find a pool of grease in the bottom of the container. Apparently that thick batter soaks up A LOt of grease. The soup is very tasty also, it had those french fried onions in it. The service was at first good then our waitress forgot about us. She was so embarrassed that she made it more than good by totally giving us the best service after that!!!! The Mochi Icecream was super too!!! Green tea! Wwe will be back for sure

Great sushi! It's my favorite sushi in the area. The service is not great though. I've had several terrible waitresses. Also, everyone is totally unorganized. It's not even worth going if it's busy. The wait area is about 10 sq feet and has four chairs. And they had three different people hosting, none of them were working together. So it's really just best to go on a week night.

I really like this place. If you don't like sushi their teriyaki steak or chicken are really good. The portion size is big. The sushi is really good. Have not been disappointed on any of them that I have tried. My favorite rolls are the New York and Pandora. Have been here a bunch and always impressed.

I've been to Sushi Monster many, many times and have always had a good experience during lunch or dinner. Some of my favorite rolls: Pink lady Sunset Yama Dynamite Fuji (made spicy) Hot dog House special The sashimi is great too. I introduced my teenage son to sashimi here, and he's been back again with me. My only complaint would be the height of the sushi bar. It's uncomfortably high. But it's easy to sit somewhere else!

The only reason I am not giving this restaurant more stars is because the service was quite slow! Otherwise, the food was really yummy. The sushi rolls were a bit pricey but good. Me and my husband tried teriyaki beef, it was so tender and very yummy! I would definitely go back here.

It's a nice place but staff is untrained, sushi isn't so great, good doesn't come out fast, owner is rude and doesn't train her staff and she lets her kids run around through the kitchen and the restaurant, and it's almost like they are rushing you to leave. Overall terrible service.

Standard sushi joint. Started out on a good foot. The atmosphere is fun and staff was friendly. The miso soup was hot but not traditional (watered down in my husband's opinion). I loved it. Our tempura was also good. From there it quickly went down hill. The menu is pretty large and confusing to figure out what is on various rolls and some don't list it. We took a bit of time ordering and still hadn't gotten our veggie tempura appetizer by the time we ordered. The service was extremely slowwwww. I ordered chicken teriyaki and a sushi roll and my husband got a sushi platter. My teriyaki and rice arrived at least 5 minutes before any of our rolls so my husband had nothing to eat in that time (plus once the chicken was cold I didn't either). I consider it bad service if anyone at the table is left without a meal for more than a minute or two. As to the food...the chicken was luke warm and when I sent it back to for heating up it was barely any warmer. The rolls we had were okay but nothing amazing. My husband who is more of a sushi consumer than myself was also not impressed. We had already decided we would never go back when the next day I had the pleasure of hugging the porcelain throne (thanks to what I am assuming is the luke warm chicken's fault...I took a couple bites before sending it back). We will not be back and will not be recommending to anyone.

Food: 4.5 stars Ambiance: 3 stars Service: 2 stars FOOD: Their food is great. It's usually presented quite beautifully but that means it can take a while to get. Especially when they're busy. They offer free soup (not miso, more of an onion soup) which is great because that's all my kids want and I don't have to pay $2 a pop for it. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is small with tall ceilings and it's just one big room. They need some tapestry or something to buffer the noise. I have ended up with a headache more than once from the noise in this place. SERVICE: Oh the service. It's hit and miss. We've been there around 2:00 when the place is empty and had the hostess/manager (not sure of her job title but she's always there running things) as our waitress. She was very accommodating and even gave me free dessert as it was almost Mother's Day. But every time we've been in on a Friday or Saturday night, we've been very disappointed with the service. The first time I got my husband to go, we waited over an hour for our food. Many other tables that had arrived much later than us, got their food before we did. We had to flag down the waitress who seemed to have forgotten about us. It became apparent that she forgot or something went wrong with our order. When we finally got our food, it wasn't the beautiful presentation that I had become accustomed to, but rather a bunch of sushi thrown on a plate. There was so much sauce (the mayonnaise based one) that we literally had to turn the sushi over to see the underside so we could tell which roll we were eating. When the manager asked how our food was and we said that all we could taste was the mayo, the response we got was "oh, well next time tell us you don't want as much." I was quite shocked by that. She didn't do a thing to try to make us happy. Most recently we were there on a Friday night and we had a young, obviously inexperienced waiter. We had to ask several times for the same things (drink refill, soy sauce). We noticed that there are SO MANY front-of-house staff members for this small little restaurant. At any given time there were 4 or 5 waiters/waitresses standing and chatting together while waiting for the food to come up. It was obvious that the ratio of front-of-house staff to back-of-house staff is severely off balance. Sushi is a great addition to Station Park. They need to work on training their staff and it would be great if they got a few more sushi chef's for the busy evening. I continue to go because the food is delicious. But I've had the best time when we go in the off-hours.

Food was great. Today was my 1st there. Service could of be better though. It definitely the best sushi in the area in my opinion. I'll be back

Surprise find. Seemed pretty busy with the movie crowd. Upon sitting down, you're instantly served soup....but beware, its not veggie friendly. Fancy menu layout. Few standard vegetarian rolls. Great for a date night.

Do you have to ask if the sushi is good! It is that good! Yummy in anyones tummy! Miso Soup= Delish and refreshing! Hibachi Steak tender to the T! melts in your mouth, nothing cheap about that cut of meat! Everything served on the plate was wiped out! Also had a Chef's choice and playboy roll! yummy! and its fun because in the back it explains what is exactly in the rolls with their cool names and all! A must try! and Return! Restaurant has great atmosphere, Clean clean clean.. Just the way a person likes it!

We eat here about twice a month, the miso/onion soup tastes a little watered down and not very hot, I don't think they should call it miso. The tempura is very heavily breaded, thick and greasy, yuck. The sushi is average, prices are average to high. The worst thing about this place is the noise, the hot sun shining through the front windows and very-very slow service, plan plenty of time to get your food. The manager is very nice and looks like she works hard, I think its the chiefs in the back are slowing the place down.

Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. This place is suck bad bad slow slow service . Come on there only two tables take 15 minute to get my drinks. And sushi roll are too huge but mostly rice with poor flavor teriyaki chicken is the way too dry. Never come again

Food was delicious but the service wasn't very impressive. We came for lunch and it wasn't very busy but our food and drinks took forever to get. Our waitress was very nice, the service was just slow. The food also didn't stay hot very long.

We've been here 3 times; 3rd time's the charm! Our first two visits were disappointing because, although the sushi's been good, they seemed short-staffed, i.e. long waits for service. Tonight they were fully staffed and the service was as good as the sushi. We have a new favorite for sushi!

Wow that was a longest lunch ever. One poor girl in all restaurant for 10 busy tables, is a server, bassgirl, food runner. Oh, she is a hostess too. 30 minutes waiting to take our order, 15 min for the food to arrive and then catching this girl for another 30 minutes to get a check. Spent more than an hour here. Definitely not a fast lunch place. What about food, it was greasy and sushi rolls were monster size impossible to put in a mouth. I would recommend this place only to people who seek a big calorie-to-$ ratio. Leaving two stars just because I feel pity for the little tiny Asian girl who works there. Manager/owner must be a total ass. Cheers

Below average sushi. Fish was fresh but rolls had little flavor. Philadelphia roll was made with Krab and not salmon. Service was below average. No window shades so sun beats down on half the restaurant during hot evenings.

I wish we would have had the same experience as the other reviewers. The calamari was bland and cold and the sushi was average. The hibachi chicken has good flavor but was dry. Sorry, but we won't be going back.

I don't write many reviews but this food is so good, I had to share. I went yesterday with a group a 15. Service was a little slow for that large of a group, but we kept showing up, so I don't blame them. I have the Calamari, Vegas Roll and some kind of ice cream desert. It's all pretty normal items that you can find at any sushi restaurant. The Calamari was tender, the Vegas Roll was the best I've ever had and the ice cream thingy (ice cream wrapped in a soy wrap) was incredible. Not only was the food good, it was plated so beautifully. I only wish I lived closer.

Poor excuse for a sushi restaurant. Unfortunately, I don't think the owners have a clue what the are doing. No "tick" sheets to order your own sushi at the "way too high" sushi bar. Ground up fish on top of a roll? What is that? It just looks like a way to save money, and not serve their customers quality ingredients. This sad little place is just a dumbed down sushi experience for all of the Utahns that are scared to eat sushi. And by the looks of the crowds last night, there are a lot of un-cultured sushi eaters out there. That makes me sad. A total waste of money.

Found this little gem tucked away next to the cinemark in Farmington. The server who I believe was one of the owners was so incredibly nice and accommodating. The fish was fresh the presentation was amazing and overall the restaurant was great! Definitely coming back to this one!

Glhf

Love this place! The Hibachi dinners are fantastic with large portions and great varieties. Service is improving as they grow. Give it a try you'll be glad you did.

Cheers

  • Erika D.

Glhf

Delicious food and open later on Sunday's than the other restaurants. Friendly service and a very nice environment. Hibachi Steak plate was outstanding and a ton of art goes in to the sushi rolls. The Bento box is perfect to share before or after seeing a movie.

A winner!

I really like this place. If you don't like sushi their teriyaki steak or chicken are really good. The portion size is big. The sushi is really good. Have not been disappointed on any of them that I have tried. My favorite rolls are the New York and Pandora. Have been here a bunch and always impressed.
