Wow there seems to be some hate towards this place...I personally really like the Zupas at this location. The 2 for $8 is a great deal: you can choose between soup, salad, and/or a sandwich. I always get the strawberry harvest chicken salad (I ask for spinach instead of lettuce) and WOW the dressing is to die for! I also really like their pesto panini. For soups I love the tomato basil but the lobster bisque and the enchilada soup are very tasty as well. And to top it off, you get a complimentary chocolate covered strawberry. Delicious! I've never had hair in my food as some ppl have complained about and the employees have always been super nice to my family.

Don't bother, with Harmon's offer a better, fresher salad bar, for less... 100 yards away. Militant, impersonal assembly line service with a stingy feel. Gonna take a pass.

Ok zupas. Here is the deal. Every single time for the past couple of months I have gone to this zupas location, either me or my friend has found a hair in our salad. A big, long, dark nasty hair. And to few people, ok it's no biggie but to most its disgusting! Seriously?! Who the crap keeps doing/brushing their hair over the salad ingredients?? Enough to make me not come back. I've had enough.

I have very few complaints about this location. Mike the manager is one of my favorite people ever and always makes it a joy to come in. A lot of the employees welcome me back, yes I live here pretty much, but small things like that is what has also earned my business at this and other locations. The Pumpkin Chorizo (hope I didn't slaughter that name) soup is amazing! Personal recommendation - get a scoop of sour cream in it and dip your HBC or TBA in it :D! Amazing!

Love how friendly they have been lately. Go before 11:00am. You will get a good parking spot, wont wait long in line if there even is one, and you will get a table of your choosing.

Excellent service, clean facilities, just like the Salt Lake City Zupas that I'm familiar with. The food was good, got the crab sandwich and Wisconsin cauliflower. The restaurant seems to be up to par with it's product and consistency.

Okay is okay. Noisy dining room. I think the employees are trained in counting each sliver of cheese or microscopic chunk of bacon. This restaurant could be so much better if they serve customers rather than just make dishes. If you want assembly-line food, try school lunch.

It is apparent the Mormons in Farmington don't like to cook on Saturday nights. Crowded!!

I absolutely LOVE this place! This place is amazing & although sometimes you have to wait in line, it's still really good. Get their combo! It's worth it. The chicken chop salad and chicken enchilada chill soup is way good. I've also had their creme brulee & it's good, but not anything to die for. It's a little too sweet. All in all, love this place!

I suppose I'll write the first substantial review of Cafe Zupas, a tri-state area soup, salad and sandwich chain. Heading back to SLC, we found ourselves ready for some lunch and decided to check out this place, located right off I-15 in what appears to be a relatively new and large strip mall. We were greeted by a young lady at the door who proceeded to highlight a few of their popular lunch items. Seeing we were eying up the fairly long line she stated, "I promise the line will move along quickly." Well, she was right, yet I had enough time to look over their numerous selections. Once I got up to the counter, I decided on the one of their half-and-half combos with a Chicken Chop salad and Honey Bacon Club panini for only $7.99. As I worked my way along the counter I came upon their gourmet dessert brownies. They looked so sweet and delicious, but I somehow resisted the extreme urge to order one...at least this time. After receiving and paying for my order, we found seats at one of the long, high tables, complete with iPod recharging stations. Cool. Once we grabbed our utensils and napkins we realized we had also received a small piece of bread and a chocolate covered strawberry with our meals. Also cool. The salad, with chicken, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, black olives, croutons, blue cheese and ranch dressing was very good, but nothing extraordinary. But the panini with turkey, ham, bacon, tomatoes, Muenster cheese and honey mustard was excellent. The fresh strawberry was also a great way to finish off the filling meal. We both expressed our satisfaction to the girl at the door and stated we would definitely come back here again. Maybe they should consider expansion to the East Coast? Just a thought.

Good food love the mushroom bisque soup and the sandwiches are not to bad either. Don't like the line "cafeteria" system they have in place and hate the way they check you out asking everything you ordered.

I went there for the first time yesterday. I had read some of the reviews before going, so I was expecting poor service but food should be ok. We had a group of four, I though service was good for what this place is Place was clean, employees were friendly, and price ok I will return, and if my opinion chances, will update review.

I normally try to avoid reviewing chains but I really like a few things at Zupas. I can't visit anymore without getting the Wisconsin cauliflower soup. It's just so freakin good. And the salads are all good, I think I have tried all of them. The only negative in my opinion are their sandwiches, I just have never had one I liked. Weird, maybe but true. For me a trip to Zupas is about soup and salad and they have great selections in both categories.

Other locations of Zupas are great. But this one seems to be the exception. I haven't had any problems with the food. Although, I will say that this location seems less concerned about the presentation of your meal, than other locations... The employees here aren't "user-friendly"! We ate at the Farmington, UT location of Zupas last night, and I was shocked at the lack of care that was put in to preparing our meal, as well as how indifferent the staff was. My spinach pomegranate salad was thrown together. It didn't look pretty, at all. The cup of soup I ordered for my daughter was unceremoniously tossed on the tray, I was never asked if I wanted to add some mix-ins. And when I got to the end if the line, I asked the cashier if there was any pistachio crime brûlée left, and she completely ignored my question. The vibe she was giving me, was that she just wanted me to pay & get out of the way! I skipped dessert at Zupas, and took the kids for dessert elsewhere. Next time I may skip Zupas entirely.

It's just okay. Nothing wonderful or something that you should write home about... but it's really good for a soup and sandwich. I wasn't impressed with the salads at all, but when you can make them at home for a lot less and it's better, that's what you should do... Just my opinion.

This location in particular is very crowded all the time. I don't know if that was the reason why my food tasted horrible as if they used old wilted lettuce or the fact that their guacamole was only powdered avocado paste. Not impressed.

Great food, but how hard would it be to come up with a system where the cashier doesn't have to ask you what you ordered. I read what i ordered off the menu! So i have to walk back against the whole line behind me so i can look at the menu and try to remember what they call what i ordered. Next time, heres how its going to go: "what are you having?" "A salad with fruit in it." "Blueberry blast or mango mammoth?" "A salad with fruit in it."

Small sandwiches, good soups, a bit over priced for the portions. 50 cents for a dash of cheese is straight up ridiculous unless it's from a kardashian cow than maybe it would make more sense. I feel bad for all that wasted money on a charging station, poor business move guys I have never seen anyone use those old 30 pin connectors. Hot sauce rack though is definitely a return on investment. *high five "schwap!"

Again with the poor service. Great food, but poor service. The location in American Fork has great service. This one is housed by rude people. I think I should just stop going here.

I've seen other reviews that complained about this particular Zupas location's apparent lack of organization, and I have to say I agree. By the time my salad arrived at the cashier there were about five salads piled up there and it was tough to tell which was mine. Adding soup to my order further confused things. So... The food is good here, but their system needs lots of work. If you're willing to hassle that issue, then by all means go. As for me, I'll take a "wait and see" attitude and eat elsewhere In the meantime. Tough to overcome those types of issues in my mind, and I'd bet this is strictly a management issue.
