I was across the street in a hotel on a business trip and decided to go for a beer. The bar keeper was friendly and very quick to get me my beverage. I didn't fry any food there. It's a sports bar with karaoke, this night the singers were not top notch, so I left after 3 drinks. I think it's a great place to go with a group of people for drinks and karaoke to have fun

This is a fun bar. I have been several times, mostly for karaoke. Sauce is the Karaoke DJ on Monday night and he is awesome. The staff are always fun a friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Great bar for sports; their are monitors everywhere. Have not been there for live bands, but the have a large stage and great sound so I am sure it would be awesome. If you are in the area, check it out. Fun place and great people.

Need better/more vegetarian options besides a veggies plate of carrots and cellery and sliced mushrooms

Drinks are good. Lots of TVs for sport. Great stage for music, especially the talented youngsters from School of Rock. Service has usually been good, though we always sit in a booth. Food is pretty average. Needs a new menu and/or food supplier. If you want great food head further up to Cliff House.

Horrible service, and rude bartenders. I'll not be back. I just wanted some darn wings!

Not sure what you'd expect, it's a bar in an outlet mall. I actually enjoyed this place and my waitress was great. I don't see me being a regular here or amything. But it was a good experience. Good atmosphere. Good service. Alright food.

I just got food Togo for eating in the hotel room and the bartender was great and the food excellent. I'm here for 10 more days and will definitely do this again. I really felt welcome here.

The live stage performances are excellent and the food is delicious, I can highly recommend the garlic burger

Awesome venue, very spacious and if you like LIVE music or watching your favorite sports team GO HERE! Pool tables & fried pickles are my favorite. Plus, the ladies are beautiful!

Despite a lost from the Utes that night, this place provided a decent experience for our party. The tables are layout in a way that you can see a TV wherever you sit, and we did not have to rush to get here for good seating. They seem very shorthanded that night, as our server mentioned she is usually a kitchen staff in the back. We ended up getting some nachos, jalapeno poppers, a dark beer, and their Turkey Wrap. The nachos were ok... they had mushroom in it for some reasons. The poppers were hot and creamy on the inside and they went well with the sauce. The turkey wrap had a nice mixed flavor in it, and I really liked the cranberry flavor in it. Maybe it was the beer that made everything tasted better? Leatherheads seem to be a decent gathering spot for a party down south of the valley. For bar food, it was delicious. Restaurant quality would be "meh". I would come again if no games are on, since they gave me the bad luck feeling for my team.

Horrible service, we came in and waited for an hr for our food! We finally asked about it and Sara acted like she didn't know what we were talking about. We told her what we ordered then she came back and told us the computer didn't send it through. (We knew this was bs) SHE FORGOT! We waited another 15 mins for our food! It came out and she forgot our wings, drinks gone and didn't ask us if we wanted more drinks. We ate our food then asked about our wings, she asked what kind we ordered (because she forgot) they came out 10 mind later, drinks gone and STILL has never asked us if we would like anything else to drink! I went to the Bar tender and asked for the manager and she told me there was not one here at the moment. She told me it would either be her or the other bar tender. We are leaving now and won't be back. ;-(

Came here for the first time after a company Christmas party. The waitresses were attentive and it was Karaoke night which was pretty cool. We didn't try the food. Next time.

I agree that another sports bar and grill is just what Draper needs - but this isn't it. I've been to Leatherheads twice and I really want this place to improve because the only other real alternative for dining and catching a game in Draper is Iggy's which is always crowded. First time was a two-star experience, second was a one-star. With that said, I will probably still continue to patronize hoping that they'll figure out that location can only get you so far and turn this into a great spot to catch a game. Pros: 1. No problem getting a table 2. Burgers, Philly Cheese Steak, and Onion rings are what you would expect for $8.95 Cons: 1. Layout isn't conducive for watching multiple games unless you're sitting at the bar. 2. Two projectors, one is good the other is pathetic for a sports grill 3. Service on both occasions was probably the worst I have seen in Utah. 4. Nachos and chips & salsa 5. Weak drinks and refill service

    (2)
  • Brian C.

Two stars! I will be short, drinks are weak, but to be expected in Utah. Food is bar food, but wings are among my Utah favorites! To big inside... Leaves a weird atmosphere and live band are typically crappy but its a bar!!! And deserves at least two stars!

After I order a drink, "OK fellas, just so you know we ARE a restaurant so I'll have to ask you to leave if you aren't ordering food." Now I know this is not the fault of the bartender that the laws in this state are a little off, but I feel like you could tell me that BEFORE I ordered my drink. So now I'm sort of forced into ordering food. I had no intentions of eating. So I left it upon my friend to get the French dip sandwich which was on special and when the check came the special was not honored. The gentleman serving us seemed to be annoyed by the fact I was there. I didn't feel welcomed at all especially after the "get food or get out" introduction. This place is in a strip mall in the middle of Draper. Possibly not the best place you could ask to be in when wandering out of a bar after drinking 6 beers, around a bunch of families shopping for school clothes, or whatever time of year it is right now. Maybe it would have been cooler if I went at a different time but I was no feeling the vibe. Definitely seems like an older crowd for sure, at least from what I saw. Maybe on a Friday night it's a little different, but on a Friday at 7 it was 35 and up.

This place had medeocre food at best. Chips and salsa- salsa was good, chips were very chewy and stale tasting, we even had two orders just to see if we got a bad batch. Burgers - I had the bronco blue cheese burger, the patty was pre frozen and really lacked taste. Fries - average Onion rings - good Service- AWFUL, we had to ask for refills, and they rarely came around. At one point my buddy had to get up and take his drink to the bar to get it refilled. If the place was packed you might understand, but when the waitress is just sitting around doing nothing or visiting with her friends, there is a real problem. In fact when she did come around she seemed so, put out that by the end of the meal no one wanted to ask her for anything. The place was empty on a Friday night, and I am sure this is the reason. I know none of us will ever go back again.

I cannot stress this enough "DO NOT RUN A TAB HERE!!!!" Every time we do this we get overcharged for drinks or food. One of the people at our table got charged for his meal and his friends meal, she also got charged for his meal and her meal. We got charged for 2 beers we never ordered and when we ordered another round our waitress disappeared. We found her up at the bar an hour later behind the bar. She gave us our tab and it had a total of 5 drinks we never got on it. The server (Michelle} disappeared for an hour at a time after taking our order. She is possibly the worst server I could have ever asked for, rude, slow and either stupid or an intentional crook you decide. She said there was a problem with my card so I took that same card and went to the ATM outside and withdrew the money. We paid our tab in cash and then I received a call the next day saying I forgot to pay my overcharged tab. So I went down to sort it out with the owner but he didn't have time for me. I have been there several times and so far there is 1 waitress I would trust. and that is Camille. She is always friendly and courteous. She never overcharges us and is very quick with service. It's a shame really because the owner is a nice guy and there is a lot of things that we go there for such as charities and events for our community. I just won't spend my money there anymore and I would recommend you don't either. I prefer that if I am going to get robbed the waitress at least wear a mask and hold me up at gunpoint like any other self respecting crook. If you do decide to spend your money there (I don't recommend it) but if you do PAY CASH FOR EVERY DRINK EVERY TIME.

Came here for a beer while waiting for a movie to start. It's got a decent vibe inside. Pretty much your typical sports bar. I do like the facts that they play UFC PPV fights because it saves me from paying for the fight myself. The only thing I really dislike about Leatherheads is that it's in the middle of a make shift strip mall. Odd location, but at least I can grab a few drinks before going to the movies now.

Since there are few bar options in the area I have tried Leatherheads on several occasions when in Draper. Like a previous reviewer, I too really want to like this place and feel I've been patient with developing my opinion on it. Now that I've been here a handful of times over the past year or so I'm convinced that my opinion had solidified. Unfortunately I don't think much of the food, service, or atmosphere. Food ranges from edible to disgusting. I've tried a variety of menu items and actually enjoyed my sliders on one occasion. All others were entirely forgettable. They should be embarrassed by the low level of service they provide. No matter how busy or slow the place is the service is seriously lacking. Even sitting at the bar, one has to practically throw something at the bartenders to get their attention, especially if they are caught up in a conversation with their friends! (A very common occurrence). The place operates in a bubble with little understanding of their own products or an understanding of professional service. They are lucky to have no competition for miles around. One big plus is that they often have the hockey playing on the TVs.

  • Rob T.

Stay about 2 miles away from the buffalo wings unless you like the taste of soggy wings and a watered down blue cheese dressing. Everything else is good.

I'm one of those people that typically doesn't write a review... but it was SO bad I had to. I'm a fan of karaoke, I like to hang out with friends. I've always heard about Leatherheads and their HUGE stage and finally after a few years made it there. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. NEVEREVEREVEREVEREVER. Drinks are overpriced. Service is non-existent. It's dirty. Go wait at the bar for a drink and have fun sitting around everyone's old shot glasses and half gone beers and straw wrappers and crap. I have never seen anything like it! I could understand if it was busy... but it wasn't There were at least 3 bar staff and we STILL waited forever to get a drink. They don't make eye contact and the waiter went in the BACK to mix our shot. Uh, I'd like to see you make it so I know what you're pouring into it before you overcharge me for those shots! The table right next to us was full of dirty dishes and chicken wing bones THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE. --From 9:30 to 12:30. Avoid it. You won't regret it. Go to Donkey Tails instead.

Food was nothing special, service was very slow, seemed understaffed. They forgot my food and didn't apologize, just acted like nothing happened. 2 stars because nothing was inedible, but otherwise this was not a good experience.

Based on the average star rating, I was expecting a horrible experience, but since we had a Groupon, we were committed and we went. I will say, I was pleasantly surprised. We were obligated to use our discount at lunchtime and as others have indicated, it was almost totally empty. Considering the fact that the place is humongous, even with a few patrons there, the place seemed cavernous and desolate. We didn't mind though. We knew it was a sports bar meant to accommodate a lot of people and a lot of entertainment. There were flat screen TV's every way you turn, great booths if you're lucky to get one on a big game night, lots of tables, a HUGE bar, pool tables, etc. It seemed like a great sports bar with decent food and ideal for watching sports. As for food, our burgers were great! We got the Leatherhead Original and it was delicious. The 1/3 lb. of beef was hearty and tasty and the fixin's were combined well. We also got the Garlic Burger which wasn't too garlicky, though much too salty for my tastes. The buns added to the flavor of the burgers in general, so we liked that and the steak fries were cooked perfectly as they were crispy and hot. Plus, our burgers came with fry sauce. You can't beat that especially here in Utah! Bottom line: great place to watch a game and to have a burger. I don't know what it's like on a game night, but the place is large enough to accommodate a lot of people, even with the biggest games on.

So, this is Draper, and, therefore, this is not a 'bar.' It is a 'restaurant.' Leatherheads Sports BAR & Grill: a restaurant ... with a live-music stage, pool tables, a long horizontal counter-type area with stools for sitting; and behind it employees who serve you drinks, neon beer signage, and TVs. The drinks include alcohol. It's essentially one huge room with a bunch of randomly placed tables and chairs. But this is a restaurant. You bet. Our waitress explained this fact to us, with an eye-roll, when we sat down to watch the football game, and requested a round of beers. Chips and salsa it is, then. See, in the great state of Utah, at restaurants - a la Leatherheads, TGI Fridays, or Iggys - patrons are required to order food with alcohol. Sure, it's arrested thinking. But around here, and especially in Draper, it's quite an auspicious event to have been granted the freedom to obtain an adult beverage in a 'restaurant' regardless of the other freedoms we're forced to relinquish to do so. For example, a first-hand witness of your drink being made... Okay, enough of my snarkasm. Honestly, this place was packed on Saturday night during our two-hour stay. There were a couple of birthday parties happening. Several groups included children, which is to be expected at a restaurant, I suppose. It should have perhaps deterred some of the typical bar behavior, but alas...it did not. There was plenty of it, and one of the birthday party Grandmas wasn't pleased. After she made the requisite birthday gift drop-off, she and her driver were outta there. She looked back long enough to shake a disapproving (index) finger at the scantily-clad "after 10pm" bar girls who had seemingly taken over the place. Ironically, after the Saints spanked the Lions, Spanky's Garage Band took the live stage. Interesting bunch. That's all I'm going to say about that. Google them. The on tap Hefeweisen was good, and they offer two sizes of draught beer - 16 oz, and the hugeasaurusrex mug. Hubby is partial to 'restaurants' who can whip up a good Whiskey Sour, so he braved that. Turned out to be 'not bad.' The chips and salsa, though, were just bad. We believe the salsa was from a jar (but not Pace Picante because it's so much better than this stuff), and the chips...well, we just didn't want to imagine from where they came. They were chewy and greasy. We each sampled one bite; the remainder is likely still around today. The service was decent - we had no problems. The atmosphere is confusing, though. It's clearly a sports bar masquerading as a restaurant. Perhaps someday they will be allowed to unmask themselves and be true to the spirits. Yeeaahh, probably not.

I've been to Leatherheads multiple times since my first review. They have definitely become a favorite in my book. The food is good bar/grill fare and a great place to watch the game. Definitely recommend for such.

Great place for lunch and one of the best Cheese Burgers in the South Valley. I can't say enough about our waitress Julie - she was amazing at taking care of our whole group.

Here are some reasons why I will not go back to Leatherheads. 1. The last few times I decided to go there I was told that ALL of the bars tables (including the bar stools) had been purchased to watch either a sports game or a concert. Both times it was a Saturday night, no signage was on the door to indicate that the restaurant was holding an event like that and the waiter and the owner were incredibly rude about it. 2. The took my ID to scan it since I was under 35 and never returned by ID to me, I left forgetting that the waitress never returned my ID (my fault so I was more upset with myself) but when I returned the owner growled at me about trying to go into the bar when I needed a ticket to get in that night. Thank goodness a younger girl was there to help me ( I am guessing it was his daughter) otherwise he probably wouldn't have let me get my ID back. 3. The wait staff obviously takes after the rude owner. The are snarky and unhelpful and you sit there for long periods of time without any help. 4. The bar is too small to do have reserve tables for events. And if you are going to only let a few people into your bar on a Saturday night at least have the foresight to post a large sign on your front door so we don't waste our time coming in. Obviously the owners are only worried about there business on a night to night basis and not a long term. I live in Draper and since there are a lot of bars in the area that are close to where I live I always hope that this place is better every time I go in. But sadly it gets worse. If you want to go to a bar in the Draper area go to Cliff House Pub, the wait staff is better, prices are the same, and at least they care about your business there.

We came here a few weeks ago for a birthday party. The place is big and spacious which is nice and of course there were TVs everywhere with various games on. We happened to come on a poker night so most tables were reserved for the games. There were quite a few people who were there for poker so that could be a fun activity. The service was pretty good. We had a couple of different servers help us out and they were constantly checking on us which is a good thing since our table wanted rounds and rounds of drinks. They are pretty strict about only having one drink in front of you at a time but they were nice enough to hold drinks while shots were being had (hey, don't judge, it was a birthday!) They also have to stick to the rule of food with alcohol. But you can get around it by sharing a bill and just ordering an app. As for food, it was alright. I tried their special of the day, $3 plate of spaghetti with garlic bread, and it was meh. I could make better at home. The noodles were fine and the garlic bread, garlicky, but the meat sauce was fairly bland. But the buffalo chips, oh the buffalo chips! So good. Light, crisp, and thin. Yum. We also tried their mac and cheese bites and those were pretty good. They had a tiny kick to them, which I like.

We walked in on a Saturday around lunch time and were a little nervous when we only saw one couple in the place. We debated whether to turn and run, or to give Leatherheads a shot. I'm so glad we decided to stay! By the time we left, there were 10-15 people in there and all were drinking. So, yeah, this place is a restaurant in name only. Based on looks, vibe, ambiance, layout, decor, service, food offerings and everything else... it's a BAR! And not a bad one, either, although it's hard to discern the quality "bar-ness" of it in the middle of the day. I was surprised at how good the food was. I had a chicken malibu sandwich with onion rings and Lisa had a Turkey, jalapeno, cranberry wrap with french fries. Everything was good quality, fresh and delicious (as far as bar food goes). If I were reviewing this place a restaurant, I'd say 3 or 3.5 stars. As a bar, 4 stars for sure. And since this IS a BAR, 4 stars it is.

I love this bar. I went for the free poker on Sunday. Music was great, People were so friendly and the owner gave me a big hug when I introduced myself. I will go to their other events.

I was in Salt Lake City for business, an new to the area. Not knowing where to get a good drink after a long day, I turned to Yelp! Since my hotel was not actually in Salt Lake, I found the closest 'dive bar' I could find on Yelp. After reading some of the reviews I felt a bit uneasy about spending my dough on poor service. My expectations were low, but the service was great! I sat down, and literally 2 minutes later I was sipping my relaxation nectar. My waitress, Julie, was diligent about keeping my glass full! In fact, I saw a man, who I believe was the owner, direct a waitress to a table of people that had only been sitting for about 30 seconds. Hands down GRADE A service!!!

I was concerned on the reviews. Went in anyhow to find a great pub! Michelle G. was tending bar. She's on it! Greeting, service, and attitude rocked. I had the burger that's $3.99 every day. Knock out. Will be back every chance. I mention the negative reviews. Michelle's answer was they have been open only 2 years and are trying to find their way. We'll they have found there way. Don't miss this place.....especially Michelle. Cheers.

As with most "bar and grills" you must order food. Ah stupid Utah liquor laws... Apparently chips and salsa will combat getting drunk. Alas, in order receive a second drink our waitress kindly informed us that we must order chips and salsa. We decided against it but I wasn't too upset because I only wanted one drink. I ordered a whiskey sour which was more sour than whiskey but this is Utah, Draper no less. It was only $3 surprisingly, although a friend ordered a cocktail with vodka, cranberry, and pineapple juice and it was $6! The live music was good I thought at first, but turns out he was awful. I almost wanted to pay him to stop. He was also awfully loud. I could barely hear the people I was there with. They need to turn him down for sure. The crowd was older, it wasn't busy, although it was a Wednesday night. They show UFC fights and have many giant tvs/screens throughout. It's a large place and the service is good, I just wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

I really, really want to like Leatherheads. It is so close to where my husband and I live and being that we moved here from Los Angeles last February, we were really looking forward to finding an awesome sports bar in Draper. Perhaps they have some work to do with training the staff, but the customer service we have experienced time after time is just awful. On our last visit in particular, I ordered a veggie burger for lunch and my husband had his usual order of chicken wings. Both were pretty decent, especially for "bar food." Despite the fact that it was near impossible to try and get our bartender's attention to order drinks, what really upset us was when she told us she was going on break and asked if she could close out our tab. Being a bartender myself a few years back, I get that whole thing. However, I noticed when she dropped off our closed out check, she did not accompany my debit card with it. When we asked the bartender coming in for the night shift if she had left it somewhere behind the bar, he looked for it and said he did not see it anywhere. We waited the entire 30 minutes for her to come back just so he could ask her where it was. Needless to say, she was carrying it on her in her check presenter the entire time. Taking off with my debit card while on break is not only irresponsible but a total inconvenience for the customer. We missed our movie time at the Draper Cinemark theater, but more importantly had to sit there for 30 minutes thinking about the whereabouts of the debit card. The only thing that did give us some hope was that it appeared as though the owner was having a pretty serious side conversation with her on our way out. I am sure that he was probably more livid about the situation that occurred than us, but for now we give Leatherheads 2 stars... because as the rating says "Meh. I've experienced better."

After reading several horrid reviews we decided to discover what all the 2 star reviews were about. Let me start with the positive. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, no complaints there. The atmosphere was your typical sports bar but it was kind of a mess. There were empty boxes piled up all over a stage area that was cluttered all over. My issue is the food. Yuck! It is very obvious all of their food comes from a frozen box. How hard is it to make fresh sliders people? I wasn't expecting 5 star food but this was microwave quality. Step up your game with real food and I'd come back. Otherwise I can get the same from Harmon's.

What a great venue for a PARTY! As this is restaurant bar and grill, it is open to the whole family! The staff was friendly, prompt, and attentive enough to make sure we had all we needed. Jay, the owner, was more than willing to accomodate our needs. Our family ordered a garlic burger, french dip sandwich, cobb salad, and nachos, as well as chips and salsa and the specials on taquitos, along with beer and sodas. The portions were generous (plenty to share!), fresh, and tasty. It was pretty damn good bar food and everyone was happy. They had tv's everywhere and live music. The atmosphere was celebratory and fun. Karaoke was after the band. It was a comfortable place to spend time laughing with family and friends. Thanks! We'll be regulars! (Can't wait for game night!)

Because of the Yelp reviews we went to Leatherheads to watch the Utah game. When we arrived and found they were playing the UFC fights and the Utah game. They wouldn't play the audio for the game. The tv had poor clarity. The waitress was in a bad mood, we never saw a menu, and our drinks never came. We were very disappointed. Avoid this place!

Finding a decent happy hour in Draper is not easy, but my co-workers and I decided to give Leatherheads a try because it's close to the office, and because we hoped it wouldn't be as crowded as a place like Iggy's. The good news: it wasn't crowded, hooray. But the good stuff pretty much stops there. I thought maybe it wasn't crowded because of it's unique-slash-weird location, but the red flags popped up quickly. A few lowlights: - Our server didn't know what was on tap. She also had no idea whether they served a few big-name liquors when asked (Patron should be easy enough to remember, in my opinion). - Once we ordered our drinks (two beers, a shot of Patron - turns out they DO carry it - and a lemonade), it took 25 minutes to actually get them. Correction: it took 20 minutes to get the alcoholic drinks, but she forgot the lemonade and had to go back for that, which took another five minutes. I mean, where do these servers GO when they're gone that long? - I ordered chips and queso for my appetizer, as that seemed one of the safest options for a place lacking in service. But the chips were beyond stale, and the queso was ... squidgy. The garlic fries that my friend ordered were deese, though. - Our server was so MIA that we started calling ahead to our friends who were running late to get their drink orders. We were kind of kidding at first, but it turns out that the drinks arrived just as our friends did (another 20 minutes later), so that was a good move. - I waited around forever for the server to come back so I could settle up my tab and go, but since she didn't show up, my friends took the hit for me so I could get out of there. The space itself is a little interesting, but it has decent potential. I've been to plenty of dive locations that survive on good service and quality food/drinks, so Leatherheads won't be around long if they can't do the same.

I can't say anything about the food, because after an hour of waiting, my date and I got up and left. I had to take my medication with food, and just couldn't sit around anymore. The waitress never came by to check on us or update us on the food; she just took our orders and we never saw her again. I will never go back.

I went here on a Monday Night to hang out with the guys for a little Monday Night Football. There weren't a lot of people in the bar, it's a pretty bad location - attached to an absolutely dead mall (see my Vitamin World review) We started with some wings. They weren't horrible, but the "spicy" ones were not hot, they were mild at best. So we stuck with the sweet and spicy version, which weren't bad. Unfortunately, I decided to get more food and ordered a chicken pita sandwich. Now, you might ask yourself, "what the crap kind of sports bar food order is that???" Well, it was a bad one. And I didn't hesitate to order it because I'm used to the Sky Box Sports Bar food, which is actually REALLY good. I'd call that place a Sports Restaurant (yes, I know it's been renamed, I haven't been to the new place yet.) Back to the food - the chicken was really dry, I almost thought maybe it was from a can; and other than the bleu cheese crumbles on this thing, there was almost no taste. Even the pita was like eating chalk. One of my friends ordered their Bronco Burger and said it was pretty good, but I can't say for myself, as I won't be ordering anything but appetizers at this place ever again - that's making a HUGE assumption that I ever go back. I mean it is convenient to where I live, so there is that...

We sat for over an hour without getting our food and were virtually ignored by the plentiful staff. I flagged down a waitress (not ours) who told us our food was delivered to another table. The food finally came and was mediocre, at best. Drink refills were almost impossible to come by. We won't be going back.

Bar itself is good. Drinks are decent (for Utah). Spinach and artichoke dip was really good. I ordered the Gyro. It was ok but no feta no lettuce and the meat was chewy. Wouldn't order it again. Wife had French onion dip. Serviceable but a little skimpy on meat. Fries where great. All and all good time had. Hopefully we just ordered the wrong items. Will try again. Finally service was great. Eboni was a good waitress.

Visited Leatherheads with 4 people on a UFC night. The management was really worried about keeping tables open for larger groups and asked us to move to a smaller booth. No problem, but then we didn't even get a menu for 20 minutes. We left. I understand maximizing your space but serve the existing customers rather than ones you're just expecting.

We had to order food, in order to get drinks... Which is a Utah rule, which is understanding and we didn't mind having to do that. What we did think was odd, is that this place is called a "Sports Bar & Restaurant" the televisions screens were really far away from the seating. The night we happened to be there it was karaoke, which was fun because the people made it fun. The service however, was horrible. Our server Leia was rude, didn't know what a Dirty Shirley was. She kept insisting that my vodka, grenadine, sprite order was a Lime Ricky... Which is nothing like a Lime Ricky nor was the drink she served me looked nothing like a lime Ricky... When we asked for the checks, she mixed up our checks, put others orders on our check. We tried to explain to her our checks were wrong, but she insisted they were correct, we just paid to get out of this horrific "bar". And to top it off we got told, "You can not stand/dance with drinks in your hand, this is a restaurant!" By the lovely Leia.. This place is not fun, I would never recommend this hole or ever go here again.

Great sports bar with 8 high definition televisions. Bartender (Clark) is excellent and always service oriented. Love the specials. The 3.99 cheeseburger and steak fry special is divine. Make sure to get the fry sauce. It's a Utah special that you'll love. The drinks are reasonably priced (3.00 gin and tonic). There are groups of 21 year olds and every age beyond. I always feel safe. This is a great place to relax, drink, and eat.

2 stars merely because the place serves booze. The food is weak and the drinks are weaker. The joint smells like fry oil all the time and the wait staff are inattentive flakes. It has a cold feel being so large and honestly, the fry oil smell is nasty, I think they need to invest in a stronger hood/vent for the kitchen.

TERRIBLE place. Not even a "sports bar!" Every worker here as an awful attitude and they don't mind taking their sweet time to serve you, or even acknowledge that you exist. The first time we went here, we called ahead and they said they were playing our NFL game on the big screen. But when we got there, they wouldn't seat us where we wanted, and the game was not on. They refused to change the channel and we missed kickoff of a huge game, had to go elsewhere. The second time, we didn't go for a game, but just to check the food out and give it another chance. Our waitress apologized for our bad first experience, said they had actually TRAINED their employees, they cater to Dallas Cowboy fans, and to give them another chance on game day. The food we had was mediocre at best (not good pub food, and fast food has better flavor than their slop--and at least comes out hot). So we went on Sunday for the big Cowboy game and they wouldn't put it on the big screen, even though the only fans in there were clamoring for it! The guy at the bar with the remote claimed he "can't control the TVs." Seriously? You're a sports bar that acts as if you just play whatever happens to come on the channel? What a load of crap. When we tried to talk to them about it and figure the situation out, our waitress basically told us "if you're not going to order, then get out." When we said we wanted to watch the game and the guy with the remote shrugged it off, we were righteously indignant (missed kickoff again, thanks Leatherheads) and said we were leaving, and the guy at the bar laughed, looked like he wanted to flip us off, and the waitress gave us a dirty look and said "good, we don't need you anyway." Seriously! We were shocked. And judging by the 8 people in there, they DID need our business. Hopefully this place will go out of business soon. I can't believe a place called "Leatherheads: a SPORTS bar" cares so little about football games.

I am trying to get beers the service sucks ass trying to watch a football game too many kids. So on top of that we came early for the U BYU game asked to put tables together got approval and then got told we were not supposed to do that since these tables were reserved they were about to tell us to give up the tables, and let paying customers leave vs cow towing to owners friends disorganization is not a customers fault MY RECOMENDATION IS TO THINK TWICE. ABOUT COMMING HERE So just heard in the bathroom "its like watching a game in a warehouse". So Jay perhaps instead of sending your sister to put people out for your friends fix things, I was excited for a place to meet Utah County friends for drinks but not so thrilled now.
