Brooklyn Pizzeria provided the first good meal I had on my way to NC. I was famished when I saw the billboard for pizza by the slice some 20 miles away. I love pizza by the slice and NY style pizza is my second favorite style. I ate two pieces of delicious cheese and that was almost too much to finish. The place is big, clean, well-lit and was nearly empty when we were there. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I could go for another slice now!

I must begin by stating that I waited 15 min before anyone greeted us at the counter, which I ended up having to call the restaurant to alert someone we were standing there. Upon being greeted by someone we ordered a large pie with half eggplant and half cheese, nothing out of the ordinary. The wait didn't seem bad until after 35 min of just sitting in the empty dining hall. Once our pizza came out we were not at all surprised by the quality and flavor, due to the time we waited and the customer service here. The cheese was not oozing like true NY pizza and the crust was hard and crunchy. We ate it since we were hungry and honestly the wait was just crazy. Overall I wouldn't spend my time stopping here if you're looking for that true NY flavor..the dining room was clean and newly built but then again it belongs to the Best Western, so what can I say! Sorry Brooklyn, but you let this New Yorker down

The menus posted on here are not The current menus. Expect to pay around 3 dollars more per item. We were there at 12:45 on a Monday, there were two people ahead of us. Food was delivered 45 minutes later by an extremely rude server. The Stromboli had green peppers on them which I cannot eat. The calzone my husband ordered had no Canadian bacon just cheese. Once again, I was ordering off the menu on Yelp. We weren't offered a menu at all. When i brought up the price difference as well as ingredient difference with the server, he pretty much just said tough luck. I also tried to get a to go menu which they didn't have. Moral of the story: always check for the most recent menu. Customer service has gone to hell everywhere and no one cares if you've purchased something that you didn't intend to.

Very disappointed. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. That's all I can say good about this place. We picked pizza by the slice. They reheated in the oven long enough to bake a pizza. It was dry, hard, and DARK brown. Never, ever again !!! My advice is don't waste your money or time .

I was quite surprised by this place. You might assume, like I did, that this place being connected to a hotel would make its pizza inferior. In fact, we almost passed this place up because of that assumption. But if you passed it up, you're missing out on some high-quality NY style pizza. I've had less authentic NY style pizza closer to NY. The crust is thin and crispy. The slices are huge. My expectations were met and exceeded. Considering the all you can eat option ($7), the huge TV, and the ample seating, it doesn't matter if this place is connected to the Best Western. I can't imagine any other pizza place within a 50 mile radius could do the NY style as well. The prices are reasonable. The pizza is authentic, and the service is friendly. Five stars.

Canned mushrooms. Do I really need to say more? I guess Yelp won't accept a review that short, so I guess I'll also comment on the wait time. Three slices took over 20 minutes. The restaurant was not busy at all. I stood at the counter for three minutes before anybody even said anything even though someone looking like a manager was standing at the register the whole time, looking down and scribbling something. It was an awkward wait to see if he would say anything. I'm thinking that the service may not always be this lousy, but it's hard to imagine that such a poor quality pizza was just a fluke. do you want to get however the place was clean and the atmosphere was alright, with a big screen TV that had football on, thus the second star.

Driving through visiting our daughter who recently moved to TN. Born and raised in the Bronx (in CA for 45 years) and this is as close as one can get to authentic NY Pizza. Prices amazingly reasonable, sweet friendly, attentive staff and DELICIOUS pizza....can you open one up in Riverside, CA???? Pretty please! Will be back when visiting daughter again....thanks.

Anyone of the negative comments obviously is only happy with pizza hut. I eat here when im traveling I-40 . This is easy off easy on tractor trailor parking also. Staff is friendly . Place is clean . Enjoy the pizza tremendously . Has all the makings of a good NY pie ( although not NYers) even has the grease drip of a NY pie. If you dont give it a try its your loss. Im told the cheese steak is awesome . But i havent tried it yet. Im a pizza guy at heart

Traveling to Charlotte and decided to take the Neport exit to try Brooklyn Pizzeria. I must say they have great pizza and steak & cheese sandwich that was awesome. I'm sure I'll visit again on travel to the area.

Their pizza by the slice, which is NY style, came out piping hot and was better than I expected for a place in the middle of TN. Having had real NY pizza in THE City I can only slightly quibble about the crust. It was a bit thin for my liking but crunchy on the outside which I like. The sauce had a nice spiciness to it and there was a generous amount of pepperoni on the slice. 3 slices of pizza and a drink for $9. Stop here instead of the regular truck stop fair if you're passing through town.

My husband and I, my son and his family and my extended family eat here at least 2 times a week. We love it. The staff and the atmosphere are great. The pizza is to die for as I always order exta ooey-gooey cheese on ours. We have stopped going anywhere else since we starting here.

We ordered in because stayed at the attached Best Western. Obviously canned toppings, obviously previously frozen sausage, one step above tomato paste sauce. I am not a picky eating the least but this place was disgusting. Do not get the garlic knots, there was more garlic sauce then knots I actually had to wipe them off to make them edible.

I feel bad about this. The space is quite nice, seconds off of I-40, plenty of parking. The staff are all very nice and helpful. But that awful, awful product they have been mandated to offer to folks on the other side of the counter is criminal. We stopped to grab a slice or two. Four slices would have been $8.00. But a 16" pie was $9.00. Then the super friendly counterman let us know that the *20 inch* pie on Sunday was a mere $10.00. What we got was the largest circle of sadness I have ever attempted to consume. The crust, I swear, was not flour, water and yeast. It was this dead flavorless skin, almost like a pita bread. The sauce was overpowering, which I think is deliberate. And the cheese. No, the congealed cheese "product". It was indescribable. Normally when I wind up facing real crap pizza, I can at least scrape the cheese off and get by. Even the cheese was awful. And the pie itself, which got to the table in suspicious record time, was so intensely hot that it took 20 minutes to be able to find out how bad it was without scarring the roof of my mouth. A heartbreaking experience. But the staff is to be commended, soldiering on, slinging some real awful product, seemingly happy as can be.

Stopped at Brooklyn Pizzeria on our way back across the country. THIS THE BEST PIZZA. You will not be disappointed. Also try the cinnamon knots as they are really good. The manager and the young woman working there are very nice people. Stop here and eat. My question would be, do you ship pizza?

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
