Its Starbucks....all right, so chances are you can get the same cup of Joe here as you can in San Fransisco. To tell ya the honest truth, You really can, except when it's poring down rain in the city of San Fransisco the coffee really is better. Service is King when it comes to any chain food, or coffee place. Much to my pleasure Starbucks is spot on every-time, and the service here at the Poplar location is Spot on too. You'll enjoy sitting outside in the morning or mid afternoon watching the cars speed by as the drivers unknowingly drive the same ole rat race every day oblivious to the simple things in life, like a good cup of coffee served from a dear friend. Take time people.... enjoy the simple things in life that truly make it worth living and this place gets my attention. It allows me to put life in slow motion, and just enjoy all five scenes of the local sights and cars, noise of the traffic, touch of a hot cup of coffee, the smell of the air with food cooking close by mixed with the deisel of passing trucks, and the great taste of coffee...... Heck, I think I'm due to stop by tomorrow for a good lunch hour visit.

The appeal of Exceptional and accurate made-to-order drinks is only diminished by the very....VERY slow service. Each of the 12+ times I've been here, at least. Friendly staff and great coffee keep me coming back....though I seem to kick myself every time.

Finally, Starbucks has an improved line of baked goods (they've been average for so long) by partnering with California outfit La Boulange. At first, the case of goods was not that visually appealing as I imagine they are still out with the old inventory, in with the new. So I got the chocolate croissant and it was very-very good. Would buy again.

Worst Starbucks I've ever been too. The staff was very unorganized when making the drinks. Our coffee drinks took a while and they got it wrong in the end. Horrendous. It's sad another barista had to apologize for the one girl who got the order wrong.

Who ever heard of having bad service at a Starbucks? Especially in the south. Well I found the one spot. Granted I might not have all my faculties prior to that 1st cup of coffee - but that's why on here! Luckily there are plenty of other shops around for tomorrow cup.

This Starbucks location is a LOT more zen and way less noisy than other in-town locations. Midtown may have more seating, but this one has more ambience. Good for working & studying. Fast drink service, too.
