I was a little disappointed to learn that Panda Express didn't actually serve Pandas. I settled for a Kung Pao chicken dish instead. The concept is basically a Chinese version of Subway, but with stir fry. My dish was good, better than expected, but I got to gripe about the price, $6.50. For the money, I could have gone to a real Chinese restaurant. The restaurant decor was modern, and the location convenient. It's basically fast food Chinese. Good but not great.

Great customer service, clean atmosphere, large portions, and good food. You can't ask for more than that.

My friend fed me some leftovers of her Orange Chicken with lo mein and got me hooked. So the next time I was in the area and hungry I decided to stop by. I went through the drive through (since that's part of the appeal) and told the lady it was my first time. She asked if I wanted to come inside to try samples. WHY YES! I tried the Kung Pao Chicken and the Sweetfire Chicken Breast and got both with Lo Mein. I also tried the Beef and Broccoli but didn't like it. I will definitely try more things next time. The Sweetfire Chicken breast is my favorite. It's breaded and comes with red bell peppers and pineapple. It had a zing but wasn't really all that spicy. The Kung Pao Chicken packs a punch. I notice on the online menu it doesn't list sun dried red peppers but I definitely had some in the one I got. I gotta say that they killed the flavor a teeny tiny bit and I only ate a few of them before I realized what was killing me and stopped. The fried rice tasted pretty terrible until I added some Sweet and Sour sauce. Love: - Chef's Special - Chow Mein (lo mein) - Firecracker Chicken - Grilled Teriyaki Chicken - Sweetfire Chicken - Sweet and Sour Chicken Ok: - Beijing Beef - Kung Pao Chicken - Orange Chicken - String Bean Chicken - Veggie Spring Roll Dislike: - Beef and Broccoli - Chinese Spare Ribs - Fried Rice - Honey Walnut Shrimp

Panda Express is just OK... It's cheap and it fills you up and is fairly tasty. The food ranges from fresh to really old depending on what you choose. All items are on a hot table for you to choose from. Good news is they will let you sample any of the entree's before you order so you can judge the freshness of the food before you actually place your order. The orange chicken is pretty good for a quick lunch or dinner fix. The interior is pretty modern and overall pretty clean. I have never been here when they are busy so I wonder if I they ever are. It is kind of hard to get to from Winchester as you have to weave your way around the parking lot and dodge all of the idiots coming in and our of Sam's and Wal Mart.

This is a fast food type of Chinese restaurant. Small, but with tables and take out. It's located in the Walmart parking lot. Food is good.

Consistently good, inexpensive, and reasonably healthy fast food. The staff is always friendly and eager to have you try anything before buying. The 2 item w/ a side combo is all I ever need, and I even have the flexibility of splitting the side with brown rice and steamed veggies. With a cup of water, this comes out to be under $8.

This is very good cafeteria-style fast-food Chinese. It is a very clean and modern establishment. The workers are focused and efficient. The portions are hardy.

Very pleasant staff and very clean restaurant. Standard Panda Express selections and the food is fresh and good. They are quite busy so they should do well here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
