Well its a Buffalo Wild Wings.... Here is what we know about BWW.... 1. Its a chain 2. Its ok 3. The service always sucks All that equals.... me eating descent wings and getting the hell out of there as quickly as possible. The BWW training system must be terrible because the last 3 I have gone to are amazingly disappointing.

I've been to many Buffalo Wild Wings, and this is by far the worst one. Both times I've gone I've been pestered by flies/gnats the entire time... makes me curious about the cleanliness of the restaurant. also saw a manager yelling at two different waiters in front their tables!... Unless you're meeting up with people to watch a game or something, there are much better options quite close to this restaurant.

Great place to come for your lunch break. If you sit at the bar the service is really fast and they will bring you you're check as soon as you place your order so you don't have to wait around when you're finished eating.

Simply put, this is a BWW; no surprises on the food or atmosphere. Long story short, if you're looking for a place to drink beer, eat decent wings of multiple flavors, play games at your table, and watch the game or the fight, go ahead and eat here. If you are looking for a place that will provide you great food, good service, an ambiance that allows you to hear the people you're sitting with, and to enjoy an evening stomach-pain and diarrhea free, then eat elsewhere.

It's closed. Closed until May 31st!!! Hope it wasn't a health issue?

I recently visited this location with a friend while I was in town from Los Angeles. It was ok. Not great but not bad. Prices are good, as any BWW. Spacious and easy layout. It's your standard BWW. Nice location and parking. My waitress Candace or Kandace was very cool. She gave great service and made sure our drinks were on point. I will be back the next time I am there to visit my grandmother and friends.

There is only one BWW in town worth stopping at, and this ain't it. But, it's the closest one to where I live and I will admit I have been here more than a handful of times. Usually convinced by football-watching friends and the promise of cold beer. So let's get down to it. The service is horrible. Horrible. Good luck getting a refill on your drink, extra napkins for your face, or additional dressing for your wings. The wings are always tiny, and usually cold. The last time I ordered wings here I was served the wrong sauce. The kitchen was so slow that I didn't even bother having the mistake corrected. Yes, they have a large bar and TV's throughout the restaurant but there are better places to drink and watch sports. This place could really be enjoyable with a decent staff on board. Maybe one day they will get it together. BTW... HWY 64 is where you will find the one BWW in town with good service and decent food.

The worst Buffalo Wild Wings I have ever been to. It was Sunday and we wanted to see the Viking -Packers game. Since we were on the road we figured BWW is a guaranteed place to get a decent meal, some beer and watch the game. The service here sucks! Our server did not know the menu, what was on tap, and we had to wait 20 mins before he even came to take our order. 1. He did not know what beers were on tap... that's OK but he did not take the time to find our either... I had to give him 3-4 beer choices and to bring whichever one was available. 2. He had long periods of disappearing acts when we finally did get our beer orders he did not know which one was what.... we had to guess by tasting it. 3. We ordered a mojito.... they gave us some sort of lemonade when we told the server it wasn't a mojito he informed us they were out of mint... hmm would have been nice to know BEFORE we ordered the drink. 4. getting a hold of him was ridiculous and right before the check arrived he was suddenly very attentive. The food and beer was good but I have never been so frustrated in a dining establishment.

For starters, the cheese curds are awful. Like truly spectacularly awful. Save your money and taste buds - don't order them ever. Now that I've gotten that out of the way... I'll list other reasons this place is not for me. It is loud...obnoxiously loud. And I know, it is a sports bar but I kept repeating, "What?" or just screaming "I can't hear you!" and my boyfriend would reply with, "What?" Hours of this was a complete nightmare. The wings are not good. I ordered the boneless and had two...I hated the first one but it was so bad I convinced myself that maybe it was just this one wing that was bad...it wasn't. And it is expensive! So expensive. Ridiculously expensive for what it is. I'd much rather go somewhere local that has actual yummy wings and the game on... It's been years since I've been here and it'll be years before I go back.

I had a gift card here that I wanted to go ahead and use. I never go to BWW. I rarely go to any chain. Anyway, I got my order to go. I called ahead. They said it would be 15 minutes. It took about 25 minutes, which is not a big deal. Everyone who worked there was really friendly, which I appreciated. They make sure that you get your correct order before you leave. The prices are ok. The wings are party wings, not whole wings. The chicken is fine. I also got an order of jalapeno poppers, which were stuffed with not only cheese but also bacon. That's a good call. All in all... it's good, but I'd rather have some local places.

Had the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich. Very good. Also had the Roasted Garlic Mushrooms. Pretty good too. Everything was great including the service.

The wings are ok and the atmosphere is fun. I do not frequent this place often, but I really like to go when it is crowded during a big game and hear all the fans of the respective teams scream, argue, name call and curse! It is quite hysterical. I just sit at the bar with my wings and observe the spectacle. My favorite flavors here are Caribbean jerk and the Asian Zing.

This Buffalo Wild Wings is near the University of Memphis. The servers are great the service is fast courteous and friendly. However if you want a hamburger this is not the place to be. I order the basic burger and when it came to the table it looked a little norm I thought for the taco restaurant it would be comfortable to a Chili's for her that is not the case it looked like it could have been a frozen patty and it works that was confirmed however the service did make up for the taste of the burger which is terrible the French fries we're better than a burger and you don't get very many of those but on the best chicken places to go Buffalo Wild Wings is great for chicken back great service. Call

Not the greatest fan of this place. The portion sizes are a bit small and there are much better places to go for wings around Memphis. Having said that though, they have big / tall / strong drinks. It also serves its purpose (coming here to watch the game, or any game). They have TONS of screens and you can literally watch any game you want!!! Can get kind of slow service during NFL sundays or college football saturdays. but definitely the place to go if you just want to kick it and watch the game on a big screen. Note: This place can get noisy during NFL games / football games. so dont come here expecting a nice conversational atmosphere. :P

Gnats flying over your food in a restaurant is never a good thing. The food was great, the drinks were good. The server was slow but I excuse it because my friend and I went during the NBA Finals and the place was packed. But what I refuse to tolerate is gnats flying over my food.

Poor service. Food was on par with Cafeteria food. Had a horrible experience with waitstaff and management. We returned a batch of chicken wings as the sauce and chicken did not taste right. Rather than replacing the wings, we had to speak to the waitress and then the manager. Moreover, they thought it would be nice to smartly ask how many wings we would like replaced as opposed to just replacing them. We never send back food and when we do we expect restaurants to treat us nicely (especially for something as measly as chicken wings). There are much nicer places to have wings in Memphis.

Went here tonight for Wing Night, and to use up a gift card I had. It was happy hour so I got some mozz sticks and fried mushrooms to start. Mushrooms were pretty gross (not a good idea, whoever came up with the garlic marinade), but my server readily agreed to take them back. Wings - terriyaki and hot BBQ - were piping hot and tasty. Service was cheerful (thanks, Jay!), though I had to flag down assistance for a refill one or two times. Overall, good experience and totally took care of my wing craving. Just wish the place was a bit warmer...by the time I left, I was shivering!

The wings are good and the place has TV screens galore. Great place to watch a game!

This is your typical BWs- the food is on par with every other chain I've been in and you can expect a decent plate of wings, basket of potato wedges and a beer to go with your game watching. I'm kind of shocked by the low reviews of the staff as I went today right at the beginning of game time (the place was packed with all the game watchers) and the wait staff and hostesses were totally on top of everything. I was pretty impressed as I've not yet encountered the organization at a BWs like I did this one. When we walked in, they asked what game we wanted to see, and sat us in a section where the television was cued up to our team. Each television had the game labeled on the bottom of the screen too, so when commercials came I could tune my attention elsewhere to games I might also be interested in without having to figure out which teams were playing. Points for you BWs! I'm also going to second the reviewer who suggests going here for lack of smoke inhalation. Loved watching the games without having to leave wreaking of an ashtray. We'll totally be back to this location to catch some of the Bears games this season.

A good place place to catch games on Sunday, as they have NFL Sunday ticket. LOTS of TVs as you would expect. NO smoking either, a huge plus for me. Service was fantastic for me, the lady who served us was extremely attentive and nice. Food is standard fare for B dubs, nothing more, nothing less. I've always thought their wings have been the best for a chain restaurant. Crowd is pretty rowdy on Sundays though, so expect thunderous cheers and just loudness in general. I have no clue how there are packs of niners fans and eagles fans in Memphis.....kind of weird really!

There are so many great wing places in Memphis why would you go here? Try Ching's Wings or Mr. P's. Unless there is a sporting event that wont be offered elsewhere there is no reason to go here.

Service is spotty at best, ranges from walk out awful to tolerable but never really good. Definitely my least favorite BWW in Memphis area but unfortunately it is closer to me than any other.

I'm a BIG fan of BWW for some pretty good wings and ambiance at an affordable price. I've been to this one in particular several times and I am not sure what happened but they went downhill big time. I was with a friend and we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and have a few beers. There is nothing like good wings and while the wings here are no different than any other BWW, the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. We arrived and the host, a young male, asked us how many and I said two, but we are expecting a couple more. He waived us on as if he was herding sheep. There was no courtesy as in right this way, it was just a hand gesture. My friend and I actually stood there wondering if he was really serious. He was. He actually had to come back and get us, because even though he made the hand gesture, I don't follow people who do not speak. I treat everyone with respect and dignity and regardless if they are in a service position or not, they get treated with courtesy. When he came back I asked him if he was gesturing us to follow him and he laughed and said, "umm yeah." OK so he doesn't have a grasp of social intelligence and perhaps he is a shinning product of Memphis schools. I would think if you are to hire someone and put him into a position to be the first impression of your restaurant he would be at least able to speak clearly. We followed him to a table in back. He took a round-a-bout way and we had to squeeze through tables and chairs to get seated. There was clearly a longer way to get there that would have not inconvenienced any of the diners we had to ask to move so we could get by. Its attention to details like this, that in my experience, will make or break an establishment. We sat down at our table and he walked off. He never said someone would be right with us, nothing, just another hand gesture and off he went to impress someone else. What an impression he made on me. We sat there, while a group of people cheered and yelled. There wasn't even a game on so what they were yelling for I am unaware. I'm into sports and like to holler for my team too, and it is a sports type bar, so I was OK with that. What I wasn't OK with was that it took my friend calling over a waitress to get any attention. This was after we had been there for ten minutes already. Our waitress made it clear she had no idea what happened to our waitress but she would take our order. Think of that! She had no idea what happened to our waitress! Not a good sign. OK so the service of getting food was just as bad. It took forever to get a beer, water, she failed to tell us about any specials. I had ordered the tenders with Jerk sauce and only got one sauce. I had to ask another waitress who just happened to pass by, while our waitress vanished. My friend had to ask her about any specials and she had to go ask. I asked her if she was new and she said she had been there almost a year. Yikes! BWW, is usually a great place and I am sure to visit some of their other restaurants, but I will never go back to this one. It was not busy, yet it took close to ten minutes to get a waitress. It took 25 minutes to get food, and forget about getting beer or water. Terrible service... I have never not tipped before as I completely get it that people can have off nights and still need to make a living. The attitude here was not an off night and not just for one waitress. The entire staff was unprofessional and just didn't care about what they did. I felt obligated to not tip to show my dissatisfaction.

Not sure why people expect so much when they go into a chain restaurant but this particular location has served me twice and I had no problems each time. The wings are not anything to write home about but it's a great place to catch a game while having an ice cold beer.

My 8 yr old is a huge fan of this place - I think it's because you can play video games while sitting at your table. He couldn't possibly be a fan of the food. Each time we go, it just gets worse. The service, the food, the taste of any of the drinks (soda or beer)... The glasses never seem clean, the floor never seems clean, the game boxes never seem clean. Thank goodness they serve your food in little paper boxes, otherwise they'd probably be on my "never seem clean" list. Last night I played trivia while I was there... and even the trivia handheld was dirty. Come on BWW - clean it up!

My sister and I go into the place, and it was so loud that I couldn't hear when the girl greeted us. When I finally understood her, she told us we could sit on the patio if we wanted to. We find a table, we sit, and we wait and wait and wait. No on ever came out to take our order. We finally left. So let me give you a tip Buffalo Wild Wings: When you tell someone they can sit out on the patio, make sure you have someone to check on them. On the way out no one said one word to us. This is not the first time I've experience terrible service here. The last time we were in and ordered we had to tell the waitress what was on the menu, because she had no clue. So definitely not even close to my favorite place in Memphis.

I enjoy going to buffalo wild wings, mostly the one on poplar because the ones on hacks cross or highway 64 have bad customer service and always over crowded. The service here is always good when I go, they are quick and never mess up our order. The wings are good since I like spicy food I always order the traditional wings blazin, they are so hot it makes you sweat. I also like the buffalito and the ultimate nachos. My choice of alcoholic drink here is the knockout punch, tastes like a sweet tart. I like how they have games to play at your table, its fun and also entertains kids, if your out with the family.

I love this place. I would frequently come here with friends to watch the away Tigers games or just to have a beer and some good ole chicken wings or drummies. I'm not huge on chain restaurants, but I would never hesitate to make an exception for BWW. I once made the mistake of taking the hot wing challenge. I don't handle "hot" anything well. Spicy kills me. After 4 minutes of my nose running, tears streaming from my eyes, and hot sauce all over my mouth --- I gave in. My friend Paul finished the challenge without any trouble. I felt shamed. It was a fun experience though nonetheless. Service was typically good even when busy. Food was decent. Drinks were nice as well. Nothing lacking for an U of M college student. Fond memories. I miss this place.... Now I'm craving some. Sucks I'm not in Memphis anymore...

  • Chris G.

The wings are excellent, with several flavors and degrees of hotness from which to choose. The service is friendly if not the most professional. The wait staff could be more attentive to drink refills. My waiter actually asked if I would like a refill of my diet coke. The glass was sitting there completely empty, so why even ask? Hello? I'm eating HOT wings. The place is very noisy and has a lot of kids, so be prepared for that.

How can you write a bad review against BWW? Customer Service was great (other than the fact that our waiter seemed to be too good because he was into every customer almost simultaneously). Went on a Tuesday so the Classics were $.85 each which was a pretty good price. Really there just for a quick bite to eat, I caught a game while eating, so it was a double play. Asides from that, not too much interesting here, but the restaurant. But then again... what more would you expect from BWW? Not here that often to be a huge critic, and probably won't go back unless with friends or by offer from someone I trust.

BWW are gross and this one is no exception. Have been to this location 3-4 times for games or because someone else wanted to go. I'd just as soon take a kick to the nards as eat here. Service was ok once and pretty bad most trips. Currently closed for some reason and I hope something else takes the location. Two stars because they do usually have cold beer.

  • Janne Z.

Ok! This BWW is taking a DIVE!!! I think I'll not be the first one to say that I don't eat out just for nourishment, sometimes I like to talk with the people I'm eating with and or watch a game. Where to begin? Nachos, ok. My daughter's wings were as to be expected, consistent. We didn't expect anything but normal for BWW. Tea? HORRIBLE! Tasted like mold which means you are NOT running your tea storage vat through the dishwasher often enough. Disgusting! There is this cool new invention called ICE (pardon the pun) but HOT tea is ordered Hot. Iced tea should have ample ice to make it cold. Anywhere in between is just putrid! Um, it's the morning after my dinner and I'm horse from having to yell across the booth to talk to my daughter. I understand that you want people to enjoy watching the sports, the commentators AND the MUSAK but all at one time is a bit much. Talk about noise pollution! But the REAL REASON for your one lonely star is because we had 47 visits to our table!!!! (Well at least 10). ALL OF WHICH INTERRUPTED OUR CONVERSATION TO ASK US HOW THE FOOD TASTED!!!! STOP IT!!!! You make me want to say, " it would be SO MUCH BETTER if you and your staff would stop interrupting my conversation every 2 minutes and would just let me eat in peace.... Errrrr.... Eat in LOUD. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO STOP asking how the food tastes! It is supposed to taste good that's why we frequent your establishment. If it doesn't taste good WE WILL LET YOU KNOW!!! You are asking the wrong question! You were trained this technique by an idiot! Do NOT send someone to my table EVER to suggest I full out a survey!!! EVER!!! Smokey Bones did that once and THEY are no longer in business here in Memphis! Managers, if my waiter is not doing their job, I will tell you about it but YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY TABLE unless I ask for you! It is so annoying to have so many staff members interrupt my dinner. The one star I did give you goes to ONE PERSON the guy who greeted me when I walked in. He was just getting OFF work and no one was manning the hostess podium, so he seated me in the absence of the person who was not doing their job yet off duty. Good job dude! Thank you! I'm sorry but you need to work at a different BWW or go somewhere else because this BWW is going down the toilet quickly. I visit restaurants for nourishment and conversation. I do not visit restaurants to chat with your employees. You would save a ton of money in wasted salaries if you would not waste their time sending them to tables multiple times to ask how the food tastes and to fill out stupid loaded surveys!!! Just make them do their jobs and be attentive to drink orders, napkin needs and the occasional wave (meaning I need my waiter for some reason...yet when a waiter is needed all I heard in the noise were crickets!). I love BWW. MY FAVORITE ONE TO DATE IS IN Southaven MS. Why? You want the wings extra wet, they know what that means! BATHROOM: How about we try changing out the mop head when it is dirty. The tiles on the wall are a nice touch as far as the ability to hose them down but a bit overkill. Reminds me of an old gas station bathroom with the key on a hubcap. The floor was FILTHY!! Use some vinegar or LYE to cut the grease. You can see the dirty mop head stains where dirty mop water was sloshed all over. The faucet needs serious attention as it is more clogged than free! It sprays water all over your clothes. A qualified plumber can fix it right, stop sending a child to do a plumbers work. Rant over.
