We arrived at our hotel on a late Friday evening and looking for a place for dinner around 9PM. We spotted China Gourmet in front of a long strip plaza and decided to give this place a shot. China Gourmet is a spacious Chinese restaurant and lounge offering an all you can eat Chinese buffet for lunch and dinner. We ordered our drinks and decided to go with the dinner buffet ($9.95 adults without crab legs), with the crab legs would be $3 extra at $12.95. This 2 sided buffet is a decent sized buffet with 3 stations in a dedicated long room with cold foods (salads/fruits/sushi/desserts) starting at one end and working down the line through several prepared Chinese dishes and fried foods in the center station, and soups and crab legs at the end. They have soft serve ice cream for dessert too. The food in general tasted pretty good with a high turnover of replenishing the buffet, but the temperature of the food was not hot, just lukewarm. The soups however were hot. I enjoyed the coconut shrimp and the hot & sour soup. There were however a few flies hovering over cold foods. The service was pretty good with several free refills on the soft drinks and the clearing of used plates and bowls each trip.
