The Tazza Cafe Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

It's the peaceful hole-in-wall establishment you would hope to find, with all the local flavor a restaurant could muster. The Service was excellent; I had a female waitress with blondish hair, tip her well! Besides the waitress being a local, having grown off the food, and an overall sweetheart, she gave a non bias review of their menu. Noting foods she was partial too, the dishes she hadn't tried (not to claim anything of it's taste), and what other locals preferred. Her candor was greatly appreciated by myself and party. On that note, GYROS! If you're looking for them, they are the best in all Hendersonville, and I might even claim all Tennessee! Unless you got a Greek momma at home, go to Tazza's! My last meal I had there was with the girlfriend and her parents. They all had Gyro's, I went with their Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp. The amount of food you'd get for $9.99,.. Luckily, I had an appetite, so I saved the fridge some space for everyone's afternoon lunch. THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE! You will enjoy yourself, I promise.

I want my $20 bucks back!! Just ordered dinner even though I've never eaten here before but because they deliver and I'm without a car tonight so I thought I'd give them a try. First off, their menu is ridiculous. Pick a type of food and stick with it...Asian, Greek, Italian, American... Wtf? I went with the Greek type of stuff. Ordered Hummus and the chicken/falafel platter. The hummus was chunky( still unsure of wtf it is) and kinda looked like it was separating. It tasted very bitter and sour and obviously wasn't good anymore, just hoping I don't get sick. The platter was equally disgusting. Falafel and chicken was obviously frozen, salad was okay even though it had no dressing, the chicken and falafel were covered in a thick "cucumber " sauce even though there's no real evidence of any cucumbers... Basically their only saving grace and the reason I gave them one star is for their pita bread which was the only real edible thing I got. Lesson learned!

We order from here quite often. Love that they have delivery service! Large selection of menu choices. Very decently priced .

The food is good especially the Holly Mole plate. We go for the Greek food. The cost is reasonable. But the service is spotty; sometimes good and sometimes lacking.

Delivery tasted terrible and the manager refused a refund. Offered free cheesecake and quoted that he was shocked that my blue cheese dressing was hot yet I claimed the fries were cold. So rude. We won't return!

Terrible server!!!!! I think her name was Trisha. Was very rude, and seems like she dosent take her job seriously Never going back.

They aren't the best at anything they do because they try to do too much. They have a huge menu, and the prices are very reasonable. But, most importantly, they deliver. And there are times when I don't want to put the effort into take-out. We like the seafood pasta. It has way more pasta than seafood, but it tastes good, and it's filling. I'm not able to finish my meal in one sitting.

My food has always been good. They get here fast and the food is still really hot. Very nice to have a place deliver with more options than just pizza or oriental food.

I've had few things from the menu. As my tip states gyros and hummus. These two things make the whole place.

You won't be disappointed with the Philly cheese burger. The best thing about Tazza cafe is the menu is so broad, you should always be able to find some to suit your cravings

Huge menu, probably way too big for the kitchen to handle. No discernible theme to the menu, pretty much classic mega-delivery/carry out restaurant fare. The food was acceptable, but nothing to write home about. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich. The flavor was actually pretty good, but the chicken felt like it was either reheated or sat too long on the bread before delivery. Considering it took nearly an hour to arrive (as estimated, to be fair) this is not shocking. The fries were pretty good steak type fries. Some were a little soggy, as to be expected from delivery in a styrofoam container, but most weren't. My cheesecake was okay. I sincerely doubt it was homemade as the menu claims. Some constructive advice would be to pare the menu down to a manageable size. I'll also note that I waited to order from this establishment for quite some time because they constantly peppered my neighborhood with menus. These were stuck in door frames, rather than mailed, despite no soliciting signs. When I finally got one in the mail, the proper method, I elected to try them out.

AWFULLLLLLLL! TAZZA DOES NOT STAND FOR FRESH, IT STANDS FOR YUCK!!!! I I ordered the Veggie Panini that came with steak fries. First off, the bread that the sandwich was made of was stale, I knew this because the middle was unusually hard, paninis are normally crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle that means the bread should be the same way, also it looked as they they use sub sandwich bread, and just barely pressed the sandwich together, the marks were hardly there. It was not hot and the whole thing just looked dull in color. The sandwich was described to have grilled eggplant and, it looked as though they attempted to fry it instead, so by the time it made it to the sandwich, it was terribly soggy and cold, the whole thing had absolutely NO FLAVOR, and the fries that came with it were over done and cold at the same time. JUST AWFUL! This was my first and absolute LAST TIME I'll EVER order from them again, They should be ASHAMED!!

First, the atmosphere. It's absolutely uninviting and unappetizing. The quality of the food definitely does not justify the cost. The sandwich I ordered was drenched in sauce & toppings and looked as if it were very sloppily prepared. Will not be ordering from here again.

We went to Nashville for the weekend and stayed in Hendersonville (CUTEST little town, by the way!). Once we discovered Tazza, we ate there 3 TIMES which is unusual for us because when we travel, we typically pick a new place every time to experience the local cuisine. The menu is really expansive and the food presentation is beautiful (not sure how it is packaged for delivery as we ate there). The chef really puts heart into everything he does. Best place, best food, best staff...can't say enough about the place really. Absolutely would recommend.

Not too impressed. The girls in work with have talked this place up and I was looking for delivery because I am on crutches. I ordered the salmon salad and it was good, request no olive but they were in there. Oh well. I ordered salsa and chips just for a snack for later and was surprised to find Pace Picante sauce poured into a container. Especially when their menu says homemade salsa. I knew what it was just by looking at it. After these seasoned chips and banging salad, (even with the olives), I decided to open my in sweat tea brought along with my meal. To my surprise, I was swallowing sugar laden NOT unsweet tea... Don't know that I'll border from there again, but I'm usually pretty generous with trying things again.

If you're looking for fancy and overpriced this is not your place... But seriously, great food, amazing portions for most things under $10. Their menu options go on for days. Our food was out in probably 5-7 minutes. Server was on top of all our needs. We are new in town and I'm pretty sure this is our new fave spot. & a big screen with sports on is a plus! oh & kids eat free with an adult meal.. And it was good stuff!

Ehhhh....... Don't waste your money, there are way better places to grab a cheap bite in Hendersonville

2.5 Was looking for some delivery beyond Chinese or pizza and found this. We had cheeseburgers. I doubt the patties were freshly made, but generally not bad. Fries were soggy and food was delivered lukewarm. I do REALLY wish they would thin the menu and concentrate on being amazing. I think I tasted potential.

I have been going to Tazza for quite some time. The last six months have seen a dip in quality. Today was an all time low and my last visit. I ordered a Stromboli. I got delivery because I am busy at home today. Something told me to open in front of the driver but I did not. What a mistake that was. This thing was a burnt husk and was completely inedible. I called and a young man claiming to be a manager acted stupid. He then offered to call another manager for me. I told him that he was supposedly a manager and he needed to manage this situation. Another one is on the way. I have little faith that it will be any better. This used to be a go to for me. Now it's a go somewhere else!

Nothing at this place is fresh. Everything is pre-cooked. The hamburger meat they will make 2 days before hand and use it until there is no more. The gyro meat will sit out all day long. The desserts here are made from a store they are not home cooked. Everything is frozen. Some of the food could be weeks old honestly. I use to work there and one day while I was cutting tomato he came in and saw that I threw some of the end away and grabbed is out of the trash and told me that there was still stuff I could use! How nasty! The only reason this place has one star from me is because I had to put something. .

This is another one of the places in town that I've driven by thousands of times, but it never really occurred to me to go try them out.... the reviews here & elsewhere seem to be all over the place, so it's never been on my "must try" list. But one night we were scratching around for somewhere different to try & ended up here. The first thing we noticed was someone smoking a very sweet smelling hookah in the corner. While it was not an unpleasant smell, hookah is still tobacco, the second hand smoke is still dangerous, and it should be unlawful to smoke it in a non age restricted venue (ie - this is a restaurant, not a bar). But let me climb down off my soapbox.... The second thing we noticed was the HUGE menu.... I mean ridiculously huge. Given the logistics of that size menu, you have to understand that little if any of the food is going to be freshly prepared when you order it, and knowing that going in might help set your expectations appropriately. I ordered the Mac & Cheese Burger, which was topped with 3 triangles of fried mac & cheese. The patty itself is the pre cooked, ballpark concession stand variety, but even so it was well seasoned & and tasted pretty good all things considered. Just don't go here expecting a hand made fresh patty. The boss ordered Chipotle Chicken - again, the chicken pieces were obviously the frozen variety, but again it was seasoned well and the food as a whole was acceptable. Certainly not fine dining, but adequate all things considered. Better than adequate was the service, both by our waiter & the owner... the teenage waiter was fast & friendly, our orders were correct, served quickly & at a good temperature, and our drinks never got empty. And the owner frequently comes out of the kitchen to check on patrons & bring small samples of various items. All in all, its not outstanding, but certainly not awful either. My suggestion to the owner would be to stop trying to be everything to everybody & cut down on the menu by about 75%

This place is awesome. The food is outstanding. The service is great and the prices are incredible. They give a free kids meal with an adult meal. We went the first time about a month ago and have been back at least twice. The menu is extremely diverse and everything I've had has been excellent. I recommend the jambalaya!!

First time eating here for me. My boyfriend has eaten here a few times, and a friend of ours eats here frequently. The food was all great. Got the Santa Fe Spring Rolls as a starter. They were tasty and pleasantly flaky. I got the falafel platter and my boyfriend got the gyro platter. Bother are pretty much identical: rice, sauce, pita, salad, and gyro/falafel. Was quite delicious. The portions were large, taking up a big square plate. The only thing I was irked by is that the menu is expansive. They have thai food, Greek, pizza, burgers, Italian, Cajun, etc!

I ordered the Chicken Parmesan. the spaghetti was delicious, but the fried chicken is too chewy. It seems like it has been re heated that's why it doesn't taste good.

Menu is too much to look at. Food is mediocre. Ordered take out and they forgot some of the food. Order at your own risk.

I love Tazza! Admittedly, I fell in love with the down town Nashville location and eat there when I am near Church Street for business. But I was delighted when I found out there was a location north of Nashville. We went by on Friday night (Christmas Eve "eve) instead of hitting the big chains in the shopping districts. It was nice to get seated and served within 15 minutes. Food was as good as I've had at the Nashville location, service was decent. Took an order of tiramasu home for later- yum!

I'd heard good things about Tazza so I decided to give it a try. We called in our delivery order; hummus, spinach dip, steak salad, and a pasta dish with a side of extra sauce. The hummus was wonderful!! The spinach dip was the texture of something that had been frozen and reheated several times, and they forgot the chips. The steak was worse than dog meat, and the lettuce was completely wilted. The pasta was excellent but they also forgot the side of extra sauce. In talking to them on the phone they were very nice and brought the sauce, chips (and fresh dip, still disgusting), and a complimentary jug of sweet tea for the troubles. So weeks later I was willing to give them another try. This time we ordered our delivery online; the Jumbo Combo with BBQ sauce and ranch, 2 orders of hummus, a piece of tira mi-sue, and a 2-Liter of Fanta. Excited for the hummus, we opened up the boxes to find the hummus all over the pita bread in a soggy heap. They had also brought Coke instead of Fanta. Upon calling, they were unfriendly and brisk but still said they would send 2 new orders of hummus. They also informed me that they didn't carry Fanta so he chose for me. We opted to have them bring Dr. Pepper to switch it out. Still starving we dove into the box containing the "jumbo combo". Needless to say we were sorely disappointed when we found that the santa fe egg rolls were soggy and the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks were burnt quite crispy. Of course there was no ranch to speak of. So we proceeded to call back to ask them to just come take the food away (except for the tira mi-sue) and give us our money back for the inedible items. During this time the delivery man randomly showed up with (2) 20oz Fanta's for us ***out of his own pocket!!!*** Such a sweet guy. Meanwhile on the phone, the manager/owner was acting extremely agitated and rude saying vehemently that we were lying and everything was perfect, perfect, perfect!! Personally, my friend and I are in the food service industry and have been for some time. That sort of conduct is inappropriate in any kind of environment, but especially in a business. To state the least, we will never have any interest in even considering dealing with them again.

I was soo so excited to try this place! I had my eye on the falafel sandwich for quite awhile, but had not been able to get anyone to go with me. So I just ordered from home about an hour ago. Should have listened to the other reviews for sure. 1st the order link online was broken, so I called and ordered - food was somewhat pricey, but delivery took ~20-25 mins (not bad at all). ALL of the $22 worth of food was cold. I ordered an appetizer of stuffed jalapenos that arrived with marinara sauce?! instead of ranch. The cheese inside may or may not have ever been melted to begin with. My falafel sandwich was like biting into a patty of straight raw chickpeas. And I absolutely LOVE cucumber sauce, but I could pretty much drink it off this sandwich. It was swimming in it to the point of being extremely messy and kind of gross. My fiance got the jalapeno burger, which he labeled as "ok.", besides the fact that it was cold as hell. At least it was better than mine, which I wouldn't label as ok for a million years. The french fries that came with both were as bland as eating paper. The receipt tells you to go to the website to post reviews so they can better serve guests, but I could not find a link on the website to such a place. Terribly disappointed and slightly pissed that I spent almost 25 bucks on food we barely ate half of before we had to throw it away. I will definitely never eat there again.

So I went to Tazza from recommendations on here. Being that I work in the hospitality business for over 20 years I am struggling to find why people have had great food here. When I first saw the menu that had every cuisine from Curry to Italian and everything in-between that can only mean they don't excel in any cuisine. Take note that when you see a dessert menu with so many options that is a frozen dessert company printing those for the operator like Devonshire. My wife had a falafel (a Greek cuisine) that usually comes with a side of tzatziki. Hers was covered in ranch. I had chicken curry that came with a side of your standard frozen vegetable winter blend. I would expect that in a school lunch line not a restaurant. Like all other reviews service was less then desirable. The only server on the floor spent time running in circles while the busser and kitchen help got our orders, drinks and delivered food. I am starting to question Middle Tennessee's idea of good cuisine.

Not good! At all! Pass this hole! When a place has a 100 menu items you know nothings fresh! Salad leaves a lot to be desired! Danky and unclean on inside, outside not very appealing! Weird entrance! For A $10 salad I don't expect to get some old piece of cold chicken breast on the sparce amount of salad! Wendy's has a fuller salad quite frankly!

My wife and I placed a delivery order last Friday night with Tazza. We've been there a few times and have done delivery a number of times. In the past food was ok and delivery fairly good service. To make a long story short , after 2 hours waiting and at least 4 calls to Tazza (none of which seemed to clarify where my food was or when we would get it), NO food ever showed up. They then offered after 2 hours of waiting, to make the food and send it for free. Not only did I not ever get any food from them, but I am still waiting for Tazza to credit what they charged me for that I never got!

Tazza Cafe doesn't look like much from the outside, located in a strip next to the newest shooting range, however, don't let the exterior keep you away. Food is excellent with a wide range of options sure to please almost any palate. The cucumber sauce is well seasoned, although the night we were there, they put far too much on the falafal for my tastes, my daughter thought the amount was just right. Menu items include seafood, gyro's, salads, burgers, sandwiches and more. The desserts are also well made and available in a cooler next to the order window. Service was a bit dicey the evening we visited, the manager (I think) looked harried and was certainly cranky, but food arrived quickly and we were doing take out so in the end it all worked out.

The Tazza Cafe has lots of great menu options including many great Mediterranean choices. I love, love, love their Mediterranean Salmon Salad - a generous piece of well seasoned salmon on top of a salad greens, mandarin oranges, strawberries, feta cheese and a wonderful balsamic vinaigrette!

Food was mediocre. It's 1:21am and after my second trip to the bathroom and no sleep from feeling bad. I decided to leave this review. STAY AWAY.
