Very simple I've never wrote a review before so I'll start by saying I'm only writing this because of our server Mary. The day prior I had one of the worst server's at Logan's in Statesville NC. Mary made us feel welcomed. Drinks came out fast. Our orders were correct she came back checked on us several times to see how things were. Everything we asked for was taken care of in a timely manner and the restaurant was very busy being 9:15 on a Friday night. I only wish I had spoke to the manager to let them know just how great she was but think they may know this already. Please let her know just how she made us feel about things and how she helped to forget the day before.

Awesome food, and the food are very delicious; I really like the bread they provide!the service is also very good! I really like the dinning environment, it brings a very good feeling, and I enjoyed a lot when I was eating there!

It's crazy how a poor server can impact an otherwise pleasant dining experience. Appetizer never made it to the table. Steak was cold. Beer took forever. Tighten up!

After trying other places with long waits, we settled on the Texas Roadhouse. We both had filets which were very good. The server recomended the fried pickles. They were delivered with our entres, and we're disappointing since she recomended them. Our server wasn't very good. She did not remove a single dish from our table as we finished them. As we were drinking our coffee, we realized there were four empty cocktail glasses, two salad plates, an empty bread dish, two entre plates, and an uneaten bowl of fried pickles on the table. The poor service ruined what was basically a very good dinner.

Just sat down we're gave dirty plates with dried onions stuck to plates. Had to ask for new clean plates

Exactly what you will expect from a chain restaurant. Basically, your waitress makes your experience...ours was very average. food was a little slow to get out and they were not even busy....

Good steak, not great. Bit pricey for a chain. $70 with tip gor the three of us. Fast service. Honest staff, left purse and called hours later, picked it up the next day and nothing was missing.

Great food! They have good salads and their french dressing is amazing. The steak is very good. Their rolls are also great. Service is usually pretty quick!

The service was slow and lacking. Stopped in after checking out the mountains. Not one person in our party enjoyed their meal. A mix of sides, chicken salad, and a cup of chili. I've had better. The one in Milton, FL is the ish (awesome).

Out of all the paces that we could've eaten, we ended up going here (where we have one not too far from home back in Georgia - that we never went to.) Anyway, we were at the end of the walk and just hungry so we decided to come here. We ordered the dinner portion of two grilled pork chops that came with two side items at around $12-15 . Hubby and I decided to just buy one entree and split it. We each had a chop and a baked potato. And gosh, we were so glad we split this meal cuz it was huge and definitely filled us up! The pork chop was SO GOOD it was a huge surprise for both of us! The sauce it came with was TO DIE for! We were very surprised at how good the food turned out to be especially from a chain restaurant like this, but maybe the food-gods were watching over us cuz everything was cooked well that day.

It is my first time in Gatlinburg and this is the last day here and we decided to eat at Texas Roadhouse. Shanon was our server and he was amazing. He definitely made sure we had what we needed and constantly checked up on us. My medium rare 8oz steak was perfect and dinner over all was wonderful. Definitely will be coming back when visiting. Thanks so much. Btw he shirt was great. Said "I love our troops"

Okay, so it's Texas Roadhouse, it's a chain and everyone knows what the food is like. We have one in my hometown and it's always pretty good. However this was a particularly pleasant experience at Texas Roadhouse. We walked in and our party of 5 was seated right away at 1 pm on a Sunday and our server was excellent. I wish I could remember her name but she did an awesome job making sure we were well taken care of. Drinks and bread refilled constantly. Checking with us after every course was delivered to the table to make sure it was done to our liking. Our food came out very quickly and it was exactly what we ordered. Food was delicious.

I wish I could sing the praises about my dinner here, but unfortunately this place fell very short for me. Undecided where we wanted to eat, we went by Yelp reviews & chose to dine here. Service was wonderful. Unfortunately, our original server took our drink orders & suddenly dissappeared. Moments later, the bartender came to our table & asked if we were ready to order. Puzzled by the change of staff without explanation, the bartender told us she'd be taking care of us now & because she was so nice, we didn't mind. The "Happy Hour" special they had included $5.25 Margarita's & $1.00 Off beer. My hubby opted for the Margarita & I dived for my usual Captain with a splash a Coke which was also $5.25. Drinks were ON point! We started out with their Fried Pickles & ranch dipping sauce = AWESOME! Their entrees varied in prices from $10-20 a dish. Coincidentally, my husband & I ordered the exact same dish. Their "specialty" fried chicken with a side of mashed potatoes & white gravy. Sadly, I was not impressed at all. They butterfly a piece of chicken breast, batter & fry it. The battering wasn't terrible (wasn't heavenly either) but pieces of the chicken were pounded so flat before cooked, I literally had bite fulls of fried batter at times. The chicken itself had no flavor AT ALL & if that batter packed all their punch? They need to reevaluate that recipe. The mashed potatoes were okay, but nothing I couldn't make myself home & probably better. The gravy? Meh. Just, meh. The entire meal was very overpriced & overhyped for what they presented. To be honest, the ONLY thing we really enjoyed from here were the fried pickles, drinks & their staff - Reason why I gave them 2.5 stars. Really, the staff is downright incredibly friendly & hospitable. But would the food make me come back? Probably never. Hit & MISS for me.

Horrible place to eat. Been coming to Gatlinburg for many years and when they first built the Texas Road house it was great. It has since gotten so bad that we will never go again especially after this last visit. When we walked in there was no one waiting. Three or four waiters were hanging on the hostess stand. The host finally seated us. We waited for some time before the waiter came to our table (Brian). We had by that time already decided what we wanted. I told the waiter what I wanted. (My meal I ask for the steak fries to have no seasoning salt on them). We had eaten a basket of rolls before getting our drinks. Our salads finally arrived, we ate them and had finally decided to leave when our meal came. (we had been there almost an hour). My husband told him we were preparing to leave and why. He got defensive and said our meal was delayed because I didn't want seasoning salt on my fries. I ask him what that could possibly have to do with it. He ask if we wanted a manager but never got one. We were frustrated by this time and he returned to the table with my husband a glass of tea but never ask if I wanted anything to drink. We ask him to bring our check without eating. He said you want a box. We obviously did not eat. He returned shortly after with a check for 2 full meals. We paid and he brought change. We intentionally did not tip. His attitude was ridiculous like he wanted to start an argument. We walked to the door and this waiter ran to the door and hollered at us going out the door sarcastically to have a great day. Will never set foot in this restaurant again.

I was really looking forward to a good steak after a long day hiking. Sadly I didn't find it here. Should of went to Out Back.

First off, we walked to Texas Roadhouse from the Ripley's Aquarium which I don't suggest anyone do, especially after a day spent walking all over Dollywood. Our server seemed really tired and not quite present as it took him a while to take our initial drink order, then he forgot our refills, our fries were too salty so we asked him if we could get some fries with less salt and we ended up getting fries with out any salt at all. Finally at the end of our meal he forgot our to-go boxes, I understand everyone has their off days and maybe that was his. My husband and I ordered the 24oz Porterhouse T-Bone to share with onions and sautéed mushrooms; we were not disappointed!! Our steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, the mushroom slices were huge and flavorful, the steak was seasoned just right and it wasn't the least bit chewy. My mother also ordered the Porterhouse T-Bone and was thoroughly pleased with every aspect of her steak as well. The food off the kid's menu on the other hand left a lot to be desired, our daughters had the mini-cheeseburgers and the Jr. chicken tenders. The mini-cheeseburgers were over cooked and bland, the Jr. chicken tenders were disappointingly small & were more like dry salty popcorn chicken bites than tenders. If we dine at Texas Roadhouse again I will probably order something off of the main menu for my daughters to share. I would have gone up to 4 stars had it not been for the service in addition to the bad kid's menu food.

Took my family here while on vacation in Gburg because two other places had a 90 minute wait. We have a Texas Roadhouse right in our town back home, so I went in feeling annoyed to be going to a chain restaurant I could easily visit at home. We were hungry and tired; the night wasn't off to a good start. And then the magic happened... First, they got our party of 6 a table in only 15 minutes, rather than the expected 30-45. Our server was friendly and welcoming, and our food came out in no time, all perfectly prepared. We like Texas Roadhouse food, and it was as tasty as expected. A balloon artist came to our table and made balloon animals for three of my kids (the teen boy abstained), which was a fun surprise. The atmosphere was happy and warm. It was exactly what you hope for from a family meal while vacationing together... but don't always get. I have especially fond feelings for Texas Roadhouse now, especially the one in Gatlinburg. Good food and great memories!

Boy oh boy. Someone please teach our waitress Veonice how to do her job.. we came in for Sunday lunch and we were her only table and she comes over without a notepad and proceeds to take our order from memory (maybe because there's only two of us) and she repeats it back wrong several times. I told my wife, just wait it'll be wrong. Well the chili and salad come to the table ok but the steaks (both ordered medium well) come to the table well done, not a speck of pink so halfway thru our meals the steaks are utterly dry.. never once did she ask us about our steaks as is the rule when we visit other Texas Roadhouses. Our cokes lacked the proper syrup mix and go bad halfway thru and she is asked for a fresh coke for my wife and not a top off and we wait forever.. a bad experience for a $55 tab. Please correct.

The visit started off fine in the beginning. We had a party of 11. Its a busy evening prior to the parade. We ordered drinks and the hurricane margarita was excellent. Our server was very friendly throughout the visit, although she couldn't keep up with the refills. The biggest issue this evening was the wait time for our food. Everything ordered was simple. However half our party got their food and the other half did not get their food for another 45 minutes. A shift manager eventually apologized for the excessive wait time. A proper manager would have given some sort of discount for this glaring blunder. They did not which was poor customer service. Food was decent quality. We were particularly disappointed because we notified our server at the beginning that we had a cancer patient in the party who had a round of chemotherapy that day and may not be up to being there that long. Our visit took over two hours from initial seating to departure. Highly unacceptable. Won't be back on our next visit to Gatlinburg.

The food was excellent but the waitress was not too attentive until the time came to pay for the meal. I gave her a $ 20.00 bill and the lunch came to $ 18.89 and she gave me back a $ 1.00 bill. SO I left her a $ 1.00 Bill Tip. Hopefully she will use it to learn math which was odd since the bill showed $ 18.89 with $ 1.11 back. The .11 cents did not concern me but the lack of attention during the meal was apparent.

The steaks here are delicious! Flavorful and perfectly done. They come with two sides. I had the sauteed mushrooms (so good!) and baked sweet potato. I realized I am not a fan baked sweet potato (not their fault), but I also had some fresh veggies (my friend and I shared the fresh veggies and sweet potato sides) The free bread are soft and warm and come with an awesome cinnamon butter. The service was great and friendly.

Great as always! Ribs were meaty and perfectly done. Good service and the food came quick for my hungry crew. Walked in around 7 PM on a Wednesday and got seated right away. I did find it odd that our friendly waitress had no idea about the "Rib Fest" promo material posted all over the restaurant. Clean bathrooms and restaurant.

Great food, great waitress (dolly) had a great time and the road kill steak was superb, although the reason for it not being a five star review was the fact that the Arnold Palmer was a little too tart. Other than that amazing restaurant if you want good American food go there.

We always enjoy going to the Gatlinburg Roadhouse. They are very friendly and make you feel like you are part of the family. the food was great also. The only complaint I has was the parking isn't set up well.

I think a restaurant gives the best impression when you are welcomed on arrival and thanked/acknowledged on departure. This restaurant did neither and that lacking I'm sure colors my overall impression that it was not that good. My boyfriend and I discussed this, first attributing it to the young staff. But then remembered other restaurants that also employ high school and college age people who are very outgoing and welcoming. It comes down to training - which this place apparently does not value. The food was so-so. Would not return nor would I recommend.

We stopped in around 3pm on a Saturday. We were seated right away and our server was very friendly. Hubby ordered a burger and I ordered beef tips. Portions sizes were excellent and everything tasted really good, with the exception of the green beans, which had a great flavor, but was a bit salty for my taste. Would definitely go again.
