Perfect balcony for people watching. Pitchers of domestic for $10. Pool was a little pricey at $1 a game. Great place

I was seeking pub food and no where to busy. I noticed this place and figured I would give it a try. It allows smoking so cigarettes filled the air, gross. I asked if they served food and was told they were only doing apps. Cool. I ask "what ciders do you have?" "Uhh a peach and angry orchard" "who makes the peach" "uhh idk" "can I have a sample?" It was not a cider, it was a peach ale. I got with angry orchard, after getting my drink I see several others in their bottles. However pouring my drink he had to place a Third pan under the beer to catch the overflow and had the tap inside of the beer when pouring, gross. Whatever. I order teriyaki wings and mozzarella sticks. No sauce on my wings. "We only have boneless wings" fine. While waiting I see other customers come in, and the bartender asking "you local?" And giving different prices to the locals. My food comes after a few sips of my beer, the mozzarella sticks tasted awful, microwaves not deep fried. After I figure no, I ask for silverware for my wings which were covered in ranch and blue cheese. I get a regular fork and plastic knife. Really? I take a bite from my TERIYAKI wings and they were not cooked all the way and oh wait, tasted like soy sauce. Naturally I spit it out tell the dude I can't eat this failed attempted at food and he acts like it was no big. No apology or attempt to make me a customer happy. Maybe if I was a local. I paid only for my half of a beer and left.

Hilarious folks... One step into Hog's & Honey's and you quickly feel like this isn't much of an upgrade from drinking in your friends' basements in high school a la That '70s Show. Except it's upstairs and the view is not to bad from the porch area. The decor is really awful ( what's the deal with the tiny tv's) and the crowd just seems like a bunch of dude's who ooze Sleazy Predator waiting for the next group of girls to dance on top of the bar. My impression isn't that different from that of other reviewers--there were so many creepy fellas here, the bar may as well offer restraining orders along with your light beer ladies. There's a reason why the ratio of men : women is completely off here. Bartender was cool tho. Hence the second star. If you want a really fun, lively dive bar atmosphere with a better crowd, without the undertones of sad, look downstairs to Puckers. Cheers

Balcony was fun to grab a beer and people watch but the place needs a good cleaning (I know it's a dive bar) and I don't really want to know what was dripping out of the bar stool I was sitting on. We might have stayed longer if the ceiling fans had been working better to at least stir up enough of a breeze to get the funk smell out of the area. One beer was enough. Oh, the bartenders were nice and friendly.

This place is hillarious. I will be going back to Gatlinburg next week so I will update if needed. This is trying so hard to be a "biker" bar. The term "biker' has been bastardized over the past years with all the weekend worriors covered in matching Harley gear. Feel free to visit any Quaker steak and Lube and you'll see what I mean! This place cards everybody..im mean everybody. I seriously saw a 60yr old dude behind me get carded..lol. The beer was warm, glasses were filthy and the bartenders looked like Mearle Haggard. The only redeeming quality is its upstairs and its got a cool covered porch you can watch the freaks below and soak in the Smokey Mountain views. Oh, and it has a pool table..Jager spills on the felt only enhance the "biker" feel...

Fun Bar in Gatlinburg...but any bar who promotes a shot called the Hillbilly Hammer will pretty much get my business. Nice and seedy place with scantily clad bartenders, reasonably priced drinks, and a convenient location. When you get tired of the old time photos, Ripley's, and Pancake Houses, drown your sorrows here.

One of the best views in gatlinburg. Prices are about average. What brings this lively venue down is the poor service. 'what'ya want?' insert blank expression here. Worth a qucik stop, but I wouldn't tarry to long.

What drew us in was the deck that overlooked the street. I could understand the atmosphere there being okay for a football weekend or spring break, but it was dirty and overpriced ($9 for a beer). Had a beer and left.

We found this little gem in Gatlinburg on our trip down for a University of Tennessee football game. This place was just what we were looking for, local charm, good prices on drinks, and home of the Hillbilly Hammer. Service was fast and friendly with an outdoor deck overlooking the main street of Gatlinburg as the world slowly rolled by. This place is a must stop in Gatlinburg if only for the sheer novelty. We were there around happy hour and it started to get packed up as we were leaving, bartenders dancing on bars, and looking like all hell was about to break loose.

Was ok. Got pretty crowded after 1030pm and service was slow.
