We had a great breakfast here! I had the sticky bun pancakes and wow - couldn't finish the huge stack but they were extremely tasty!! My husband had the full deal....eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and grits....and all of it was very good! Our waitress was very friendly as well as all of the servers as they all made sure you were doing ok! Would highly recommend this place!

SO GROSS! DO NOT GO!!!!! Food tasted like air and the eggs were barely cooked. Toast was warm bread. Waitress asked me who I was texting and wouldn't leave us alone! Friendly but a little annoying if you're in a hurry! Food is nasty! We paid 64$ for food we didn't touch. STAY AWAY! Update: feeling very sick after eating here

it's a basic breakfast joint. Super friendly and fast service. I had poached eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The eggs were a bit more cooked/poached than I like, but good. The bacon was crispy, and the pancakes were decent. It's a good local place to support with patronize though.

After long days of family time in the Smokies it's usually difficult to get my family up and dressed to go out for breakfast. Most of the time we just eat cereal, cinnamon rolls, or some other quick item as we are getting ready for another day of fun. We do usually pick one day to go out for breakfast. On our particular day we ended up at Flapjack's which was only about 0.1 miles from our cabin. The restaurant was still packed at 10:30 but we were seated immediately. We were promptly waited on and our food was out just a few minutes later. I ordered a Spanish skillet with fried eggs over medium and a waffle. It was delicious although I feel that the skillet dish could have used more spices or some hot sauce made available. My wife ordered the pigs in a blanket and those things were huge...three large link sausages wrapped in pancakes...no complaints from her....just the sound of....mmmmm. My son ordered the chicken and honey and was presented with 4 large chicken tenders, a bowl of honey, and hash browns. The chicken was so large that my bottomless pit of a son couldn't eat them all! My daughter order the Jr bear pancakes which come in the shape of a bear with a little bit of chocolate sauce added for facial features....I can see this being a favorite for any kid! All-in-all this restaurant is 5 stars and will definitely see our business again when we visit the Smokies again.

This place has the most amazing breakfast foods. I've been there 7 times now and I'm beyond satisfied with their food every time!

We normally go to the Pancake Pantry when we come to town but we wanted it try something new this time. I ordered the mixed berry pancakes with a side of bacon. The bacon was one of the best I've ever had. It was perfectly crispy. The pancakes were also good but they were basically blueberry pancakes with a few other mixed berries on top. I would have loved more berries. I also got a chocolate milk to drink which ended up costing like 2.79 which I found a bit crazy. Thankfully I only had one since it did not come with free refills. My husband had some sort of breakfast patter with eggs, potatoes, sausage, ad pancakes. He loved his. He actually thought it was one if the best meals we had on our trip. I don't necessarily agree with that but it was a good breakfast. We would go back!

Basic breakfast at a responsible price. Had pork chops and eggs but would like to have the pork chops seasoned. Asked for a side of chorizo since it was new on the menu and used it to flavor everything.

We stopped here for breakfast on the way into Gatlinburg from Pigeon Forge. It's in a great location and a nice place. The food and service was good while reasonable. Since we didn't have a big meal, I don't have a lot to elaborate on other than we'd definitely go back. We liked the easy parking and the building was quaint.

We checked them out on a mid week morning. About 10 minute wait, they are very well organized . Food was very good, reasonable pricing. Another thing the staff knows what they are doing . The orders are pretty big so plan on leftovers..

Great food, fast service ..no wait. The staff was very friendly! I was able to customize my order..only wanted 1 flapjack, not 4! Drinks come in moonshine jars or milk jars (small). Biscuits are square and flaky!

Based on the other reviews, I'm wondering if we just hit an off day, but we walked in around 8:30 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. One waitress was engaged in a lengthy conversation with a table and had her back to us, and there were no other staff in sight. We waited... and waited... and waited. Just about the time we were turning around to walk out, a waitress emerged and seated us. I'm pretty sure she didn't even speak to us - just grabbed menus, walked to a booth, and threw them on the table. It took our waitress forever to come to our table, and a group that came in after us was waited on and had their drinks before us. I ordered the Honey Nut Crunch, and our waitress had no idea what it was, so I had to show her on the menu. When she brought it out, she said, "Is that what it's supposed to look like?" Um, it's YOUR menu! The fella got fried steak and eggs, and he said it was about what you'd expect. The coffee was pretty weak. This was definitely our last visit to Flapjack's.

This place was delicious!! We had a waiter his name was John and he was a very delightful character early in the morning! We ordered the reeses pancakes and oh my goodness I couldn't believe I forgot to take a picture, It was sooooooo good! deff going back here if we visit Gatlinburg again!

The food is cheap and gross. I had the corned beef hash skillet which by the picture on the menu looked really good. What I got was microwaved hash from a can. My wife got biscuits and gravy. The gravy was of the obviously instant powdered variety. The pancakes were heavy and dense. Not good at all. But the service was good so there's that. I won't be back.

Attentive, fast service. Huge portions, tasty fare. We had the egg white omelette with satueed onions, peppers, mushrooms, filled with cheese. Excellent !! The server was very friendly, welcoming, and urged us to return. A good experience.

Great breakfast spot. Gatlinburg is stuffed with pancake places, so we didn't have to go far to find this one. Came with a group of 10 and were immediately seated and had our drinks within minutes. Food was FAST and good - everyone got what they wanted and really enjoyed it. Would recommend!

Let me start by saying this was way better then the other flapjacks I ate at. Chicken and waffles were good one day and the pig and a blanket were great the other day. The cooks here know what they are doing. Servers here pretty good. Enjoyed the food and watching my wife, her parents and my son all get different things and they all looked delicious.

TERRIBLE!!! TERRIBLE!!! TERRIBLE!!!! Customer service was horrible. Once we were sitted no one came to take our drink orders. We were sat in the very back of the restaurant. The manager was very nonchalant with our concerns regarding this matter. DON'T EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't do it! Go to Mountain Lodge across the street instead. Wait staff was friendly and we had quick service but the food was tasteless. The buttermilk pancakes tasted like batter- no real flavor. The toast was warm bread. $60 for a meal we didn't enjoy or finish.

I've eaten at a lot of pancake houses in this area. But this one just didn't do the me no justice on taste. We got a lot of food but it was bland the eggs, the bacon, and the pancakes. There are better one's around, I won't be back to this one.

Can't go wrong with breakfast here! You can't really screw up breakfast but maybe it's a Gatlinburg thing but all omelets we've had in the town seem to have placed the ingredients of the omelets on top. Who knows? Nice service, military discount and not a long wait!

It's a decent breakfast place for families, but what else do you expect with a name like that? It is a popular place and was packed when we were there, so we had to wait half an hour or so before our party of seven was seated. The pancakes were good, the potatoes were bland, and the sausage and biscuits were pretty basic. The grits, however, were runny and a waste. If you want a decent place for breakfast that's cheap and close by, you can't really beat this place. I'd go again but I would order something different to see if it's any better.

Flapjacks has a nice ad for their sticky bun pancakes and it called my name so my brother in law and I went there for breakfast. They were really good but I have had better. They put lots of pecans in each pancake which I loved! The pancakes were light enough but the sticky glaze was hard and did not taste like caramel. There was very little sugar cream and it was only on one pancake. The staff did a nice job and was very friendly!! The price was high for what I got. I would eat there again!

This place kind of reminds of Cracker Barrel, but a mountain-y version. What is Gatlinburg's obsession with pancake houses anyway?! On to the review....I had eggs, turkey sausage, toast, grits, and home fries. The eggs were cooked pretty nicely (over medium), the turkey sausage was kind of gross & foamy (but I'm glad they offer a pork alternative), the toast & grits were fine and pretty standard, and the home fries needed more time on the griddle/in the pan. The coffee was decent and the hot tea was fine as well. I guess we'll come back again sometime if we go to Gatlinburg again.

We went for breakfast on Monday that turned out to be busier than typical Mondays. Despite being understaffed that day, our server was friendly and calm. We still were able to eat within a reasonable time. We ordered the regular pancakes and an omelet. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The omelet was hearty and tasty. My child ordered hot chocolate and it was delicious, very rich and creamy, served with a dollop if whipped cream.

This is a wonderful place for breakfast! I had the Mountain Blueberry Pancakes w/a side of bacon. The pancakes were lite, fluffy, & not too sweet. My husband had the French Toast breakfast & he said it was very tasty. The service was excellent & Ashley went above & beyond 2 make sure we had a good meal. My Dad ordered the Southwestern Eggs Benedict & didn't realize it wasn't regular Eggs Benedict & though my Dad said it was his mistake, our server, Ashley, wouldn't hear of him not getting another breakfast! & they didn't even charge him even though it was his mistake & the manager personally delivered his Egg sandwich. Highly recommend Flapjack's 4 a wonderful breakfast experience.

I love Flapjacks! They have really friendly staff and the food is wonderful. They have a kids menu that the kids get to keep and color on. It was pretty affordable compared to the other pancake houses, and they even have a gift shop. If you don't prefer breakfast food they can also make you a sandwich. My husband had a BLT and it was a really good sandwich. I would really recommend them and I plan on going back every time we visit Gatlinburg.
