Fannie Farkle's is my life. I LOVE Fannie Farkle's so much. We were on vacation at the Smoky Mountains, when suddenly, Fannie Farkle's pops out of the heart of Gatlinburg! Fannie Farkle's is a restaurant and arcade located 656 Parkway. Fannie Farkle's is such a great place for the entire family! I encourage you to play the "Monsterdrop" arcade game which rewarded me with 1,717 tickets on my 7th try. I only spent about $12.00 in total, and came out with two Fannie Farkle's mugs, 1 stuffed Fannie Farkle's monkey(which we named Freddy Francis Farkle), a bell labeled "Ring For Luck", and 2 whoopee cushions. I highly recommend going to Fannie Farkle's Family Fun Parlor because it is an attraction for the whole family, the food is spectacular, prizes are not that overpriced, and provides excellent fun for everyone. I LOVE YOU FANNIE FARKLE'S!!!! FANNIE FARKLE'S IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME!!!! #FANNIEFARKLESISMYLIFE !!!! I am attending M.I.T. College next year and plan on bringing Freddy Francis Farkle with me!!!FANNIE FARKLE'S, I LOVE YA!!! I LOVE YA!!!!

This may have been the best meal we had while in Gatlinburg. Fresh corn dog was sooooooo good. Wife had the cheese steak which was also tasty. Quick service with a friendly staff. Open air on the main drag was very cool.

My family had the foot long corn dogs and drinks. Food was good but greasy bc they are deep fried wouldn't suggest eating it in the heat of the day.

Great little spot! Couldn't decide between the corndog or sausage so I had both and they where both great!

Foot long corn dog is actually 2 regular dogs on a long stick then dipped in their batter. Other than being a bit greasy this was one of the best corn dogs I have had. Minus one star for grease, and the ones we got had been fried previously and were warming on the grill. If you like corn dogs you have to try these at least once while here.

Must have - foot long corn dog! Best corn dog I've ever had. The only complaint is it's a cash only operation. Of course they have an ATM near by, but you are charged $3 fee. Most places in the area now accept credit cards, even the parking areas.

Had to get the world famous ogle dog. Basically a foot long corn dog. It tasted like a carnival corn dog. Paid $5 for it. I guess being a tourist in gatlinburg it's one of those things you have to do. My 3 year old daughter liked the batter so that made it worth it.

The sausage with peppers onions were very good. The cheesesteak sandwich was good also. Both priced $7.99 each plus tax. Lemonade was 2.75 but all prices are high here

Ah the irresistible ogle dog. You cannot walk past Fannie farkles and smell the peppers, sausages, and deep fried goodness of an ogle dog and not stop. I had a Philly cheese steak the last time I was there and believe it or not it was really good! You gotta spend ten bucks and make your rounds in the arcade and they have a photo booth that cannot be missed.

I LOVE HOT DOGS/ CORN DOGS!!! Lol..... yeah yeah, i heard it too haha so when I heard about the "Ogle Dog" I just HAD to try one!!! We found Fannie Farkle's VERY easily, as its right in the middle of the strip--- and you can even SMELL the yumminess of the smoked sausage and peppers from a block away!!! We tried the Ogle Dog... and where, YES... it was Delicious... It was in no way as good as I had hyped it up from reviews and recommendations. The breading was the BEST part!! But along with a previous post, I was a little disappointed when i got to the 2nd hot dog!!! They should totally join up with Sonic and get the foot long dogs.... AND get better tasting hot dogs... And i agree that its a little over priced... We got 2 Ogle Dogs and 2 SMALL souvenir cups (cause we had half off coupons for the drink cups) and it cost us around $15!!! Maybe more, Id have to ask the BF... Also, besides the food... Fannie Farkles is a fun little stop for arcade games and prizes. (for all ages) We are in our late 20's and we had fun playing the games for a while as we ate our dogs. About the normal types of arcade games you'd find anywhere though-- about the same pricing. I want to try the smoked sausage next time I'm back... they smelled absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!! So I already know I'll be back

This establishment is also known as Fannie Farkle's Corner Kitchen and Amusement Center. The Corner Kitchen is in the front corner of the Amusement Center. They only serve a few items and are known for their sausage sandwiches and the Ogle Dog, a foot long corn dog. I wanted to come here because I'd read all this hype raving about the Ogle Dog. I love corn dogs and was excited about getting one. I was so disappointed. One their website fanniefarkles.net it says that the Ogle Dog is "world famous" and that "people come from near and far just to have one". It also states that a special secret recipe is used for the batter. The fried batter was good but it tasted just like any other corn dog coating, like what you'd get at a fair. The hotdog itself was nothing special either, it tasted like inexpensive ones you buy at a supermarket, the mixed meat type. I wish I watched the virtual tour video on their website before going because it mentions the hot dogs are Elm Hill, a brand that used to be sold in the grocery stores when I was a kid in Nashville (I don't think they are any more) and I never liked their taste. But apparently some people do because while I was standing there a lady was all excited about being back in Gatlinburg so she could order an Ogle Dog and just loved them. I wanted to ask her why. They're expensive too at $5.00. I also ordered a Hawaiian shaved ice which was a decent size but expensive at I think $4.50 and it didn't really have that much taste. It was sweet but didn't have alot of cherry flavor. They only accept cash at Fannie Farkle's Corner Kitchen but do have an ATM on site. It is, however, one of those where you are charged to use the machine and then charged another fee by your own bank as well. The arcade and video center seemed popular and busy but we didn't play any of the games. The Corner Kitchen wasn't busy and the man at the counter had his back turned and was occupied with his laptop. He didn't apologize when he finally waited on us nor did he smile or even say hello. He wasn't really rude but just seemed bored and disinterested. This stood out in my mind because their website claims they have "the Friendliest Staff always Ready and Willing to serve you with a Warm Mountain "HELLO"!" and shows photos and a video of really happy employees It mentions on their website that you can watch the corn dogs being made fresh but ours and several others were already prepared, sitting under a warmer. They were a decent temperature though. There is a section for coupons on their website which you can print to use.

4 stars for the food only...the games is a different story! OMG the Tennessee sausage for $7.99 was awesome. I made love to it right in the middle of the arcade. I am low carbing it, so I gave my wife the roll with onion and she put her corn dog in it. OMG from her. Stop and get something to eat here.

Mmmmmmmmm. Several years back, I was in Gburg with my Mom. She was reaching "feed the beast" mode. It was important to feed her quickly. She is always slow to accept a new dining experience, but, the need to feed overcame all. And I am glad it did. She got the Ogle dog(what is Ogle anyway? It's everywhere done there), loved it! I got the foot long sausage with seasoned, grilled onions and green peppers. Stinking delish. Seriously the best tubed meats I've had the opportunity to shove in my face. So of course, when we made plans to visit Gburg with some friends, I made sure we ate there. Sadly, I couldn't convince those bone heads to get anything there(it was raining slightly, and they are a bit lazy so street food wouldn't work for them). As soon as we got in the car, me with my sausage, Craig with a cheesesteak, they were jealous. Great as always. Just get some!!

Excellent destination for fun! Great variety of games and prizes. Games are reasonably priced, and the tickets are worth what you would expect at any other arcade. The food smells wonderful!

I tried the Ogle Dog. Great foot long corn dog. Gatlinburg is a tourist city. So, a $5 corn dog should be expected. Great customer service. No complaints.

Hot, fresh, and deep fried Corn Dogs, need I say more? I'd recommend giving them a try, whether you like Fairground style Corn Dogs, or Smoked Sausage Dogs with Green Peppers and Onions, they have got you covered.

I've been listening to my wife heap praises on Fannie Farkle's for years. All I knew is that you walk up to the counter and they're grilling onions and peppers on a flattop grill right next to the street. I finally got my chance to see what all the hubbub was about. Walk up to the storefront, and what do I see? Two flattop grills, one covered in sausages and one covered with seasoned grilled and extremely fragrant green peppers and onions. It's hard not to salivate while you're standing there. My wife got her classic Italian sausage with peppers and onions and she suggested I try their new cheesesteak. Seemed a bit pricey for either for $7.99, but I figured it was worth a shot. Both entrees smelled absolutely heavenly. Since Fannie's is standing room only, we took our packaged and bagged food back to the car while dodging rain almost the whole way. Upon opening my wrapper and taking a bite, it was abundantly clear that good decisions had been made. While my cheesesteak definitely wasn't typical (it almost seemed like a cheesesteak made by someone who only makes sloppy joes), it was tasty, greasy, and difficult to stop eating to take breaths (breaths filled with the fragrance of fresh-grilled onions and peppers). The other people in our crew, who hasn't been that hungry before, immediately regretted there decision. If you're on the main drag, this is definitely a must visit location.

Couldn't resist the smell of sausage & grilled onions. The thing is huge...my husband & I shared one. Greasy, "fair food" yumminess! The young guy working there did such a great job of giving me of onions ONLY even though the peppers are mixed in with them. Extra mile!!

Crazy arcade full of kids. Very touristy, but what in Gatlinburg isn't? Good place for a late night snack. We had chili cheese dogs with onions and peppers. Delicious. The girls behind the register were slow, but super friendly.

The very best sausages ever! This is the main event when in gatlinburg but my family and I have considered driving from Alabama, several dozen times, to get sausages only. The arcade is awesome and a great place for the kiddos. There's nothing like a Fannie farkles sausage with onions and peppers!

The food is over priced. I was shocked when I spent what I did on corn dogs and cokes. I know they are the best ever but these are corn dogs not a steak dinner. the arcade is small so we went to the space needle.

This is the year 2011. By now this place should already have some means of using a credit card reader. No excuses. You're in a tourist town, adapt. Just another tourist trap.

This place is a must if you go to Gatlinburg. This is the first place we walked to as soon as we finished checking into our hotel. The best corn dogs ever!

Arcade is small and can get cramped, but the footlong corn-dogs and sausages are well worth the stop. Great food, fair price to pay and definitely worth it.

This is a hotdog place in a resort town I mean you know what your getting. Having said that I really enjoyed the corn dog. It was a little pricy buy it was also a foot long. Remember there is no seating here. It is located on the street at the entrance of an arcade. Great stop for kids.
