Not a fan. Looked forward to going but not the best. Crawfish really didn't have flavor and the oysters had more she'll in it then meat. You walk past the main raw bar and they have frozen crab and crawfish sitting there along with a stack of pre shucked oysters. God knows how long they were there. Service as pretty good but what a disappointment......

Came on a Monday to have a few drinks. Loved the karaoke. Even though it wasn't really popping. I know I came to the same bar with my mom once when I was 17 and it seems to look and feel the same way. Except strong drinks this time :)

This restaurant caught our attention because it offered fresh seafood and even sushi. The menu was not impressive--most of it was fried food, so we decided to give that a try. The sushi menu is a joke and seems expensive ($8 for a California roll? seriously?) Everything was horribly greasy and salty. The hushpuppies were a joke--they were hard, dry, and dark balls. There was absolutely no flavor to them and they were painful to eat. As said before, everything was overly salty and had no flavor. Seafood was NOT fresh, and it had a weird smell to it. Service was ok but nothing spectacular.

I wanted to give this place a good review but couldn't. We had 3 different servers walk up to our table and asked if we had been helped, 3rd one took drink order. Went downhill from there. Gator tail app was 13.99 and had more fried okra than gator. Coconut shrimp app was 10.99 and had five coconut shrimp that tasted of freezer burn. Shrimp 3 ways was 18.99 and had 9 shrimp on it, baked potato wasn't even done (hard in middle). Not one thing tasted fresh or even freshly frozen. Whata waste of $83.00.

We're in town from Indiana. After a nice day of horseback riding through the Smokey's, we decided to head into Gatlinburg and try this place out! I saw their sign stating they have fresh oysters, and I couldn't resist. To get into the restaurant you head up a few flights of stairs on the side of the building. It's pretty easy to find, there's a big sign by the stairs. We went on a Wednesday afternoon, so it wasn't busy at all. We decided to sit out on the patio, which allows smoking for you smokers out there. We got a cheap pitcher of beer, a dozen oysters on the half shell, mozzarella sticks, and a salad. I will admit nothing really wow'd me but we only tried a few apps that are all common classics. The oysters were good though, I could tell they were fresh and never frozen. Our server was attentive and took good care of us. I see the general consensus isn't great for this place, but I'd come back for a beer and some oysters next time I'm in town.

I really wanted to like this place. It had an outdoor balcony, seafood and karaoke so we were excited. However, our food was just meh. The alligator app was good but the shrimp pasta tasted like a frozen dinner and the garlic bread that came with it was barely toasted. You should skip the oyster po boy because it was dry and whatever that side sauce was only best described as a train wreck in a sewage yard. Yuck. Hey why don't you come inside for karaoke..or the one man show. I put in for 2 songs, and i sang one. The "dj" sang 8...in a row....and there were 3 other people waiting to sing too. If you are hungry, go to the Chinese place (for real, yum) and if you want to SING karaoke instead of just listening to it, just sing in the street, the people will love it. ;)

Meh...just meh. So...BLUF - Great place to people watch... main street in Gatlinburg... you see all types... - I had some blue margarita cocktail. Meh... The beer drinkers in the group were all happy, tho - Hubs had the crawfish bucket... Nope. Just nope. Lots of work for very little taste. - I had oysters on the half shell. I shouldn't have. I really shouldn't. I just miss raw oysters so much.... Don't. They're room temp and the texture was just wrong. It is good for people watching on the balcony with unnaturally flavored and colored drinks...

Excellent fish bowl drink! Yummy! Sat on the deck and enjoyed the people watching in Gatlinburg! Service was excellent as well!

Loved the atmosphere of our lunch at Crawdaddys. The food was to die for. I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque. Their sushi is outstanding and the wasabi is unparalleled to any other that I've ever had.

  • Yvonne K.

The best part about this place was the outdoor balcony dining.I had the fish sandwich and fries which were both pretty good but the oysters were not very good and the crawdads...let's just say I've had better at Chinese buffets!!

I've learned the hard way not to eat sea food in a land locked country, state or province.. So their seafood dominated menu shrunk to 1 item in my eyes... The Cajun Burger. Complete with a fried green tomato it was bliss on a bun. Just the right crunch to fat sweet salt combo. My neurons fired as if I were under a spell. My lady was ill on arrival with the flu.. They whipped her up a hot toddy with honey bourbon on tea that cured what ailed her.. A restaurant? A bar! A flu clinic!? This place had it all.. A Cajun Appalachian hybrid worth your time at the north tip of the smoky mountains.

Service was a little slow at first but once they got rolling it was great. Food was delicious and the drinks were great. Prices were decent for the food we ordered. All staff were friendly. I ordered the grilled chicken Cajun sandwich and it was great. The fried alligator was delicious as well.

Stopped in for some drinks and appetizers last week with some friends. Our server was new and tried very hard to get everything right. He was great! The one thing that was really annoying was that there was a lady watching a baby (it ended up being an employees baby) and she had the baby sitting on the bar, on tables and at one point took her back in the kitchen area, not sure if a baby with no shoes on should be in the kitchen area...

I had an excellent and enjoyable evening at Crawdaddy's. I found the staff to be competent and the patrons friendly. The beer selection is a bit wanting but that's not why you'd come here. I had a tasty pasta dish which was delicious if not gourmet. If you come here with expectations sized to the location, you've made a great choice. My evening was nearly ruined by the rude and ornery karaoke host. While he seems to do an outstanding job with the local crowd, his close minded and unsolicited opinions in our personal conversations were extremely off putting. Most of the local folks I've met in Eastern Tennessee have displayed quintessential southern hospitality. This guy was a perfect advertisement for all the xenophobic stereotypes of the south. Luckily, the nice local folks sitting at the bar and the friendly bartender made up for it. Stick your head in if you are in town!

Great service and great food. Will return here everything was great and more than enough food to feel up the hungry guy. Also great people working here. Easy to get to. Would recommend it to everyone. You get your money's worth

I'm so shocked that this place has so many low ratings because I thought that the entire experience was great! Our server was extremely friendly and attentive to our party even though the place was incredibly busy last night. The four of us ordered a few appetizers (two different types of sushi and jalapeño poppers) and they were all so delicious! I got the Cajun burger and fries and was pleased with my meal. The burger was huge... I could only eat about 1/2 of it. Drinks were good. I got a skinny colada and it was very refreshing. The karaoke was a bit distracting but it was all in good fun. Great little place to eat at! I'd definitely recommend it!

Good food. Great atmosphere. Service a little slow, but they are busy! Atmosphere was ok. Also ate at Bubba Gumps and this place cannot compare.

  • Kristie T.

Loved it! We got a dozen raw oysters and me and my daughters split The Big Daddy Seafood Platter and we chose lobster Mac n cheese as our side. Son had chicken fingers as usual. Everything was great. Karaoke was starting as we were leaving and they said they do it nightly. Our waitress was awesome.

    (4)
  • Jim C.

Went for appetizers, beer, and karaoke. We were charged the "out of towner" rate for beer and the karaoke guy was bombed by 1030 and couldn't find names or songs.

  • James H.

The cook got seasoning happy. It was almost to hot to eat. Should called management right off the bat but we were tired and hungry so we worked our way through it. Told the waitress. Never going back.

I'm so lucky to be in relationship with a Baton Rouge native that knows crawfish and crawfish bowls. Lets start off with the appetizer, we had the lobster and shrimp dip with garlic bread. It was amazing! It was topped with green onions and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a pitcher of beer. ** side note ** a weird woman will approach you and take a picture of you, then print it off and then bother you during your meal. Now the main meal - I ordered the crab cakes which were delicious! I side ordered the asparagus as the side and everything about my meal was amazing. Two crab cakes, with lemons and they were delicious. The crawfish bowl - for Cliff - was very tame, almost missing seasonings that should be in an authentic crawfish bowl. "tasted more like paprika and garlic powder" rather than "the entire spice racks" which apparently is how it should be. He thinks its because most tourists probably can't handle the spiciness of real crawfish bowls. All and all a good place to eat for dinner.

  • D P.

The service was friendly and attentive. The location and view of the main drag is great. The food was average. The drinks were good and strong but you will pay for it. The shrimp trio was tasty. Nice place to dine on vacation.

    (4)
  • James D.

Very enjoyable meal and atmosphere. We had a window seat which was a huge plus! The oysters Rockefeller, stuffed shrimp, and scalloped potatoes were all FABULOUS! We also had the crab cakes and red beans & rice which were also good but not quite as exceptional. DEFINITELY get the oysters Rockefeller, best part of the meal! Kids eat free but it is a bar atmosphere.

I'm very disappointed in the service we received tonight. We are regulars at Crawdaddy's every time we come to town (which is 2-3 times a year) because of the location. Crawdaddy's is great for people watching and to grab a drink while taking a break from shopping. However, tonight was a different story. We get there, sat outside and ordered our drinks. My husband ordered a double gin a tonic, and I had a single. When we got our bill, I was SHOCKED to see it was $22 for 2 drinks before taxes. My drink (because it was Tanqueray which they didn't ask my preference) was $6.50. My husband was $14 because it was a double. They charged him for 2 drinks. When I questioned it, our server gave us a lame story about the bar manager and how he does things. I will NEVER go back here. The view is good, but I refuse to pay $14 for a drink. I can go anywhere else on the parkway and pay about $5 for a drink. Ridiculous. Whatever new management this place is under is a bad thing. I will not be back. You can keep our $25 for 2 drinks. Just know that's the last you will see from us.

Very popular restaurant downtown Gatlinburg TN. But really wasn't too impressed overall. Besides a great location and good window views - It seemed kinda dirty. Almost like they get by on name alone so they seem lazy in some areas. Like replacing seats, tables, etc. The decor is tired and restrooms were dirty. Ok enough with that, on to the food. The menu itself looks awesome. Anytime I see Oysters Rockefeller I get them. Sadly they were cold and subpar. Also went with the turf and surf plate. It was only slightly better. On the positive note the fish was really good and the lobster macaroni was awesome. My MoMo got a pound of crab legs and enjoyed them. Lastly the service was just ok. I asked for a window seat and while sitting down another (pothead) server came and made us change for he promised another table. Not cool. Overall worth trying but not mandatory for there are better places downtown Gatty.

Kids 6 and under eat free with an adult meal. We happened upon this place in the middle of the Gatlinburg strip. The entrance is small but it is very easy to spot with a large balcony. Once you climb the stairs and walk underneath the dangling mannequin you are greeted by an oyster bar and lobster boil. THe decor reminds me of a Joe's Crabshack. The menu is huge! I was actually pretty surprised. When spending time in a tourist town you can't beat a free kids meal. They have items including burgers and sandwiches along with the typical seafood options. They also have alligator which I wish we had ordered. I was starving and opted for the philly steak sandwich. It was actually very good. The portion size was reasonable. Service was overall good. 3 Stars because it was "good" but not spectacular. Somewhat pricey but so are most restaurants in downtown Gatlinburg. If you're hungry, have young kids, and looking for a reasonable restaurant definitely check it out!

I've been here 5 times now and always received great service. They make the best kids chicken tenders that my kids have ever tasted. Food that I've had has been pretty good. I'm gonna give it 5 stars but it's really a 4.5. I'm a half full guy.

This place sucks!!! We were so excited to eat there and went in. We sat for no joke 25 min. Before anyone even acknowledged us. THE security at the door was nice and told servers we were waiting. Didnt help.. STILL we were over looked. Finally after 35 min. the server came over and got our drink order. I was HAPPY and couldn't wait to order. Well.... another 20 min. Went by. I could see drinks at bar but no one brought them over.By now this place has fucked off my night and I am pissed. Long story short...We left menus STILL on table no food no drink. But guy at door was nice. Place Sucks Ass!! Went for Chinese at North China. They were fast and REALLY good!! Don't waste your time with this place! I felt embarrassed that everyone around us saw how long we waited! You guys don't even deserve 1 star! U suck!!! CAN'T believe how u stay open for business!

  • Danielle F.

Our food was good but not to die for. I ordered a side salad that came out with my meal but the server said its because the food runner was new so he was slow. They may have been understaffed on a Saturday evening but I'm not sure. It's touristy with a great location so all in all we were pleased.

The oysters are Sandy and Bland. Not a good representation of good oysters. Service was great. Thanks Diane. :)

Me and my boyfriend came here. Staff was.friendly. I had the fried shrimp and loaded baked potatoe. My boyfriend has bacon wrapped shrimp with Ted beans and rice and french fries. It was so yummy! We will definitely be back.

We were very disappointed with the quality of our entrees. We both ordered the snow crab buckets and the crab wasn't cleaned properly. Arrived and left hungry. Wine was disappointing as well. I assume that's what you get for ordering wine in a place like that. Spent over $100... so not worth it.

  • Amy B.

Bartender was friendly - we moved out onto the balcony from the bar and she continued to serve us - and was a little slow at times. Food is okay - we got crab legs and shrimp cakes - way overpriced but that's expected for a restaurant in Gatlinburg. The balcony is a great place to people watch but I doubt we'd go again for food.

  • Madisaun G.

Worst service I've ever had. Once we were ready to order we waited about 15 minutes before we stopped someone else to get our waitress to take our order. Once our food came out she never came back to the table. Another waitress had to get our refills, to go boxes, and the check. We waited another 15 minutes for her to come back to the table just to pay. Mean while the table next to us sat for nearly 30 minutes before they walked out because no one ever came to their table. On top of everything the restaurant wasn't even that busy! Food was decent but nothing special. Needless to say I'm never going back.

  • Kim M.

Awesome! Food was fantastic will definitely refer others. We were served by Krissy and We ordered the creole cheeseburger and fries which was probably one of the biggest and best burgers I have ever had. It was topped with a fried green tomato, bacon, lettuce, tomato and Swiss or cheddar and we also had it with a dozen raw oysters and the oysters taste so fresh and fantastic. They even gave us a free dessert just for liking them on Facebook. We went during lunch time and it was perfect not a lot of customers around the 4 pm timeframe. It was very clean as we'll. We will definitely come back when we return to Gatlinburg for vacation.

Let's just say don't waste your time, walk on by. Food is way overpriced and was disgusting. Fish well let's say batter cause that's what it was. Awful hush puppies were doughy like I said save your money

  • JJ N.

Stopped by because of convenience and the the balcony view. The service was decent (boost my rating to 2 star), but I can't say the same about the food. We ordered oysters on a half shell, lobster & shrimp dip, seafood boil, and a pitcher of margarita. Oysters were not bad, however I find the cocktail sauce too sweet and full horseradish. The dip was the most disappointing. Imitation lobster??!...and I tasted nothing but mayo. Served with toasted New Orleans baguette doused in salt...not an appealing dish. The seafood boil was not too fresh, overlooked, and tasted bland for a Cajun dish. Margarita was nothing but lemonade with extra sugar. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much from seafood restaurants in the mountain?

Pretty good meal, cheap beer $2.75 drafts, nice atmosphere, kids under 6 eat free, and most hotels have a coupon for a free appetizer. I will definitely go back.

    (4)
  • Jamie M.

I really don't know why this place has such terrible reviews. We had a great experience. Our server was friendly and food was great! We didn't get fish or seafood of any kind. I got a burger and my husband had chicken and waffles. We'd definite go back!

    (5)
  • Jen G.

I only give this a 4 star bc we had to carry the stroller up their flight on stairs and their restrooms could have used some attention! Good service, great server and good food! Bought some shirts as well. However on our way back down our server informed us of their elevator and used that to get back downstairs. Order the gator bites-delicious!

    (4)
  • Amanda M.

We were seated outside (by request) had to wait for a table to become available (no problem), plenty of seating available inside but we wanted outside and had a short 5ish minute wait for it. We were seated and waited 15 minutes with no waiter/waitress to be seen. We left before anyone ever come took our drink order! If it were busy I'd been more willing to wait but the inside wasn't even half full.

Ate here due the location, and the exterior appeal. after already having a bad experience earlier in the day I decide to try the oyster bar near my room. The dads blue balls(fried mini crab cakes) were pretty good. The beer was sort of tepid and served in a warm mug. the good was my daughter had chicken tenders, and they were not frozen, but freshly prepared and pretty tasty. I ordered a ribeye and shrimp, the shrimp were horrible and the steak a gristly, chewy mess. place looks tired and needs a kick in the ass, the location is great!, the menu is weird, needs a streamline and get rid of the dusty old 90's clutter. unless this place makes changes ,I do not see it here too long! Not worth the money $90.00 2 pitchers of beer steak, sandwich and a ap.

  • Terri H.

When we arrived we noticed a stage with a karaoke machine. It looks like a fun spot to party at night so I'm sure it is much busier at night and I'm sure the wait is longer. Fried green tomatoes, gumbo, and crab legs were good. This is a great place if you are in the mood for cajun food.

  • julie q.

Meh - I've experienced MUCH better. Our waiter and service was the high point...I believe his name was Johnny - and he was awesome. First off, if you don't offer oysters, then don't advertise that you do. I get it with the recent oil spill, but cross them off your menu. The crawfish were pretty bad. Our gator bites appetzier was good, but batter was overly salty. My primerib was decent...Lobster mac and cheeze was kraft with a bite size piece of imitation lobster meat. Martinis were soooooo weak. Loved my garden salad! All in all, after $80 for dinner, we were soooo unimpressed. We are Chicago food snobs, but this didn't have any redeeming qualities. Sad really.

  • Gary H.

Atmosphere is ok. The food is not very well prepared. Had the lobster bisque it looked as if it was heated out of a can. The shrimp trio was just sad. Really would not recommend this place.

Always have the crawdads. Went 2 nights ago. Also had the Lobster Po boy sandwhich. It was good. Not what i expected but would get it again. It was lobster deep fried nuggets in a sandwhich. Service was very poor. Sat on the deck as the waitress kept walking by and ignoring us. 15 min later, i finally acknowledged her to get some service. She sent a male waiter out. Not sure what the problem was but our table was the only outside table she wasnt waiting on. It was me and two kids. The male waiter never came back after we got our meal. I requested lemons for my crawdads twice, he never brought them or extra napkins. Food is good, but dont expect great service.

Looked great from the outside.... Fun atmosphere...great service. The food... Meh! I was dying for some oysters... Ordered the fried oyster dinner and BBQ oysters app. Boy we were so disappointed! For 14.99 I got 10 quarter sized blobs of fried breadcrumbs and what they siad were oysters? A tiny ramikin of red beans and rice and fried okra. Both were good but wanted more than 3 spoonfuls! Sorry but its a FAIL here! The 2 stars go to the waiter, he was nice and friendly. Everyone in our party left hungry and regreting we chose to eat here! The bill came to 170.00..for 5 adults and 4 kids...2 of the kids ate free! Oh one of the "free" kids meal consisted of 4 pieces of fried dime sized pieces of shrimp and 12 frend fries! What a disapointment!

From the beginning, our trip here was terrible. We carried our 6 month old's stroller up the narrow flight of stairs, only to be "greeted" by a disgruntled employee who seemed annoyed that we were forcing him to do his job. When we requested the "impossible" task of sitting on the nearly empty balcony, he huffed in reply, and stomped to clear one of the 8 tables that had not been busted in god knows how long. After being seated, my husband received a complimentary arm waxing from the table which was covered in a sticky foreign substance. We waited approximately 5 minutes for her to take our drink order, and another 10 minutes to receive them. When ordering, we were interrupted numerous times only to hear they were out of multiple items. After finding food they actually had in house, we began our long wait yet again. A bathroom break in midst of the fun uncovered unsanitary conditions. The floors were dirty, with pee puddled next to the toilet. The stack of paper towels placed on the sink were soaked. The odor was overwhelming, and it was a task attempting to hold my breath long enough to finish business. In delivering, they brought our children's food 20 minutes before our own. By the time we did get our entrees, the kids were finished and ready to leave. On arrival the "blue balls" were burnt, and tasteless. The flounder PO boy was bland as well and had to be loaded with tarter sauce to be eaten. Overall the food was TERRIBLE, including the children's food of macaroni and corn dog. Considering the fact that this place was DEAD when we arrived, there was no excuse to have such terrible service, ESPECIALLY having outrageous menu prices.

We ate here July 6th, a very busy holiday week in the smokies yet this restaurant was empty. It was no surprise once we met our server. She was so smarmy it was hard to be polite to her. Grouper sandwich was yummy but everything else was pretty bad. If that was lobster in the "lobster mac & cheese" then it was the grossest lobster I have ever had (I suspect it was blue crab) They were out of several menu items. I always question the chef's skills when they can't keep regular menu items in stock when the place is empty. No way would I order oysters here! We ate here because of a restaurant coupon and thought we'd try something new. Mistake!

While I did not have any food at this place, I did go and experience the Karaoke on Friday night. I really enjoyed myself. Great DJ, fun crowd, EXCELLENT service from my waiter and EXCELLENT Lemon Drop Martinis.

Disappointed! I was really excited to go here but wouldn't go back. We went on 7/4/11 & we had an early dinner(maybe 4:30pm) to avoid the mad dinner rush. There was practically no one up there so we figured great timing, boy were we wrong. We got seated right away but the table was dirty, under the table was covered with food & the seats were ripped up badly?? We sat there at least 20mins before Jimmy asked if we had anyone stop by yet. I know southern states arent' as fast paced but when you see 4 waitresses pass you & the dont' bat an eye at you thats bad service! I even think the table behind us left for that very reason. We ordered a sample platter which was very skimpy for $16. The food was good but the prices were high & the portions were small. They also didnt plan very well because they were sold out of alot of specials due to the crowds for the holiday weekend. It was my husbands birthday and he was really angry 1/2 the dinner about it all. If it wasnt for Jimmy (or server) we would have walked out after our beer! Thank you Jimmy! This place needs help & their website never works. It could be great but its not! With so many great choices on the strip this was a bad one~should've gone to Dicks Last Resort! We heard all over the strip about the great food & service there~oh well, ya live & you learn!

We had visited Crawdaddy's as a couple about 5 years ago and had a great experience. So much so when we returned this month for an extended family vacation, we took our party of 8 back there for dinner and an evening of drinks and karaoke. This experience was not so good. The food was fair but everything we ordered was spicy although the description in no way indicated it would be. Our appetizers were the highlight which tells the story. The service at our table was pretty good. The karaoke was the huge disappointment of the evening. The DJ was funny and entertaining but the way he catered to the locals and regulars was very frustrating. His regulars were called to the mic much more than us or any other "vacationers" which was at least half of the customer base that evening. He actually skipped over 4 of our requests for first time singers at our table until we got so frustrated waiting that we went up and called it to his attention that he was skipping people who hadn't had an opportunity to sing yet. Not a good way to treat people that come in and spends hundreds of dollars in one night (probably more than his regulars spend in two weeks. We won't go back. There is other karaoke dinner places within a block of this place and I recommend that you skip Crawdaddy's and try them. An add note, the bathrooms...disgusting.

The food here was typical of a bar. Nothing special. The kids enjoyed the alligator. The whole place wasnt very clean. The bathroom was a mess and in need of repairs in addition to cleaning. I cut my finger opening the lock on the bathroom stall because it wouldnt line up with the door right. The waitress was nice enough to find a bandaid for me. I wasn't impressed. I wouldn't go back.

I'm ONLY commenting on bar/wait staff and DJ. We did NOT eat there. The waiter that we had was absolutely AWESOME! He was very attentive and was working very hard since it was a Sat night and you could hardly move in there. We drank mostly shots and beer but we had a couple of mix drinks and they were made well. The shots were pretty big for shots and price was very average. If anything I was shocked that the price was much less than I expected. The Karaoke was like any normal karaoke place. The DJ was pretty good at trying to keep the crowd happy. There were sooo many people there it was really hard to get everyone up to sing more than once. The ONLY reason I gave this place a 4 was that I was NOT happy that children were allowed to be in there so late. There were many kids in there too. Anywhere from ages 6 - 14. We didn't leave until the place closed and some of those parents were leaving with their children at that time. I'm from NC and maybe the laws are different but children would NOT be allowed in a place like that after 10pm. Just a warning for those if you who would make a big deal about the kids. Its definitely a shocker to see that but never the less it was a good time. I would go there again for a good night out. Also the bar closes at 1am every night. Last call is at 12:45 am.

I like it! You have to climb a narrow flight of stairs to get to the restaurant and bar, then we sat outside on the balcony , enjoying people-watching while we ate. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating - we basically knew the life stories of two different waiters by the time we left. I had a nice burger and my boyfriend had a chicken salad (we are both on diets but he is better than I am at eating salads at every meal :-)) I thought my burger was great plus I substituted the french fries for a small corn-on-the-cob. The corn was cooked in some sort of seasoned water with a seasoned butter and it was really delicious. I'm pretty sure my boyfriend liked his salad, he did not complain but did not rave ether. Went here for dinner and drinks. Hubby got the gumbo which was no where near actual gumbo. It was kind of like Brunswick stew. He also got shrimp and grits appetizer and said it was different than what we have in Savannah but good. I got the grilled chicken with new potatoes and fried okra. The chicken breast was dry and had way too much seasoning on it. The potatoes were ok and the okra was frozen not home made but good. Drinks were weak and expensive. I can do without this place.

We ate here our first night in town & it was delicious (try the Creole Burger). Service was AWESOME! We even went back for karaoke & stayed the rest of the night! GREAT atmosphere & staff!

Slow service, check that, horrible service. We saw our waiter once after getting our food, and that was when we were done eating. The Crawdads are way over spiced, too damn hot. The meat was probably very flavorful, but you could not tell as they were so fricken hot. This is coming from a guy who loves hot stuff. There is hot, hotter, and stupid, and these crawdads were simply stupid hot. You could not enjoy them at all. We will not be back.

Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Our waiter was a really nice guy, he was very knowledgable about the menu and food. We sat outside on the porch/deck which was awesome, right on the strip. Those were the highlights. My wife and I tend to be as frugal as possible, which was hard in this restaurant. Still our bill wasn't outrageous and we both left full, so I guess that's what counts. Overall this place was good, but we'll probably check out a few other places before coming back.

I am a local and the food is very good! They have items on their menu that isn't served in a lot of places in this area. the price is very good compared to other seafood places we have here. And also I want to say a big thank you to our server Token!!! We came on a very busy Saturday night & when he overheard we had not had a server come by yet he came to serve us even though we were not in his section... Give him a raise!!!

Definitely will not be returning. The grimy atmosphere should have been a clue, but we wanted to try something different. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer. Almost $9 for 6 small shrimp that were dry and barely had any coconut. My husband got the blackened fish PO Boy. He said it was ok. French fries were a mixture of crinkle cut and smooth. I got the shrimp PO Boy. Out came a hoagie bun with lettuce, tomato and lots of tiny popcorn shrimp. There was no way to eat it as a sandwich. I ate it piece by piece. It was way too salty. I thought it was me so I asked my husband to try. He said they were definitely way too salty. Ended up not eating much. I will say that their coleslaw was very good. Too bad you only got a tablespoons worth! I used it to cut the saltines of the shrimp. Total bill with app, 2 sandwiches, and 1 draft beer was $40.00+. To top it off, our waitress could have cared less. It was obvious because the other waitress for the table next to us was so much nicer!

Best service ever! We arrived in Gatlinburg late and were looking for a place to eat. After we got inside, our waiter Justin told us that the kitchen had just closed. He recommended a pizza place and even got us their number. The next day, we came back and asked for Justin since he had been so helpful. The food was great! Their lobster maccaroni was awesome! We ended up going back to Crawdaddy's on our 3rd & final night because we enjoyed our prior visits so much! Justin came through for us again. We lost the number for the cab company that we had used to get into town and he found it for us. I'm not exaggerating when I say that he made our vacation wonderful!

We went at about 830 on a Saturday night and had no wait. Our server was great and very attentive. The food isn't delicious, but it is really good. We had oysters and the low country boil (crawfish, shrimp, crab) and it was all great. I recommend sitting outside to people watch. Definitely a fun experience.

The karaoke may have some of the best nashville dropouts I've ever heard! The beer is cheap and it stays open late. The good being out of the way lets get to bad..... Service was slow and the fact that its name is crawdaddy's I truly thought the crawfish would be good, I was very wrong. I had finally talked everyone into trying them in my group after about an hour of persuading. Cracked open the first one and it was ice cold. It also just tasted like a dirty shrimp. Needless to say I will not be eating there again, however I would drink there and listen to the music.

We are in Gatlinburg for Christmas, and the restaurant was empty, but the food was good and we had okay service. The blue balls appetizer was a little heavy but had good flavor. Their version of tartar sauce was great..spicy! I had the fried grouper entree with sides of red beans and rice (waterey) and french fries (crisp and hot). The grouper was breaded with cornmeal and was heavy, plus a very large portion, so I only ate about half. My husband had a boiled platter with crab legs, sausage, shrimp, and crawdads, and said the spices were great, he loved his dinner. Only 3 stars because the atmosphere and service were sub, par. Probably wouldn't go back.

If you are hungry, go to the Chinese place (for real, yum) and if you want to SING karaoke instead of just listening to it, just sing in the street, the people will love it. ;)

  • Jamie C.

Loved the atmosphere of our lunch at Crawdaddys. The food was to die for. I highly recommend the Lobster Bisque. Their sushi is outstanding and the wasabi is unparalleled to any other that I've ever had.

The best part about this place was the outdoor balcony dining.I had the fish sandwich and fries which were both pretty good but the oysters were not very good and the crawdads...let's just say I've had better at Chinese buffets!!

Came on a Monday to have a few drinks. Loved the karaoke. Even though it wasn't really popping. I know I came to the same bar with my mom once when I was 17 and it seems to look and feel the same way. Except strong drinks this time :)

  • Juliette S.

    (1)
  • Christopher V.

  • Tracee C.

Our food was good but not to die for. I ordered a side salad that came out with my meal but the server said its because the food runner was new so he was slow. They may have been understaffed on a Saturday evening but I'm not sure. It's touristy with a great location so all in all we were pleased.

We were very disappointed with the quality of our entrees. We both ordered the snow crab buckets and the crab wasn't cleaned properly. Arrived and left hungry. Wine was disappointing as well.

I really don't know why this place has such terrible reviews. We had a great experience. Our server was friendly and food was great! We didn't get fish or seafood of any kind. I got a burger and my husband had chicken and waffles. We'd definite go back!

Sad really.

Mistake!

If you are hungry, go to the Chinese place (for real, yum) and if you want to SING karaoke instead of just listening to it, just sing in the street, the people will love it. ;)

Came on a Monday to have a few drinks. Loved the karaoke. Even though it wasn't really popping. I know I came to the same bar with my mom once when I was 17 and it seems to look and feel the same way. Except strong drinks this time :)

I would recommend this place just because it is fun.

We ate here our first night in town & it was delicious (try the Creole Burger). Service was AWESOME! We even went back for karaoke & stayed the rest of the night! GREAT atmosphere & staff!

Good food. Great atmosphere. Service a little slow, but they are busy! Atmosphere was ok. Also ate at Bubba Gumps and this place cannot compare.

Went for appetizers, beer, and karaoke. We were charged the "out of towner" rate for beer and the karaoke guy was bombed by 1030 and couldn't find names or songs.

The cook got seasoning happy. It was almost to hot to eat. Should called management right off the bat but we were tired and hungry so we worked our way through it. Told the waitress. Never going back.

The best part about this place was the outdoor balcony dining.I had the fish sandwich and fries which were both pretty good but the oysters were not very good and the crawdads...let's just say I've had better at Chinese buffets!!

  • Juliette S.

  • Christopher V.

  • Tracee C.

Not coming back for the food, but will for the bartenders. Deep fried everything was too much for us eventually.

Crab cakes, shrimp and the lobster mac all yummy. Good and friendly service. Clean and good music too. Would return again.

The service was friendly and attentive. The location and view of the main drag is great. The food was average. The drinks were good and strong but you will pay for it. The shrimp trio was tasty. Nice place to dine on vacation.

Our food was good but not to die for. I ordered a side salad that came out with my meal but the server said its because the food runner was new so he was slow. They may have been understaffed on a Saturday evening but I'm not sure. It's touristy with a great location so all in all we were pleased.

I really don't know why this place has such terrible reviews. We had a great experience. Our server was friendly and food was great! We didn't get fish or seafood of any kind. I got a burger and my husband had chicken and waffles. We'd definite go back!

  • Richard T.

Sad really.
