Huge thanks to Jason's! With little notice, like none, they saved by bacon, no pun intended. The team there responding quickly and put together 12 box lunches in less than 15 minutes. I wouldn't recommend doing this to them if you want to be sure your order is ready, but I am greatly appreciative of their response, courtesy and helpfulness. By the way, the food is pretty darn good, too.

This place has been hit or miss. The salad bar is decent. I have had a good sandwich or two. I got a Caesar salad on the side once, and the salad dressing was nothing like traditional Caesar dressing. Maybe they gave me the wrong thing, but if not, I'm not sure what it was. It was white and creamy, like sweet creamy honey mustard. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything close to Caesar dressing. If you're in a hurry and want to grab something, Jason's isn't a bad option. They have so many options on their menu. But don't expect to be blown away.

Why such high praise to a chain . Well organic salad bar with feta , artichoke , fresh fruit , the salad has premium ingredients most salad bars would never dream of putting the good Lebanese olives on their bar but Jason does ! Friendly great staff ! My husband loves the sandwiches the meat is piled high . So good food good staff ! I give the 5 for the salad bar and service and 4 for sandwich .

Easily the best french dip sandwich I've ever had, Jason's Beefeater is twice the size of my face, loaded with perfectly cooked and sliced beef, served with a side of au jus and a pickle. Or go healthy and have a manager's special - 1/2 sandwich and salad or soup. The salad bar sets the "bar" for salad bars. Lot's of good fresh ingredients. I'm not sure how nearby McAllister's even tries to compete. There's just no comparison.

Prices here are great. Salad bar is amazing for it's price. If you order the pastrami sandwich, it's the only place that piles the meat plus you can add anything on it.

  • Tabitha S.

This place is great. I always get the salad bar to go. It is by weight so if you dont want an expensive salad the dont load it up. But even if you do load it up the price is just right. Their dressing are yummy and their bar is always fresh. Quick and delish!

Super super super duper crowded lunch place! Once again, I was back in Franklin trying to grab lunch in between meetings when one of our new locals suggested we go to Jason's Deli. I'd heard of it, but I'd never been so here there I was standing in this monstrous line thinking I was never going to get out of there and if I did, I'd never find a place to sit. Somehow things magically work out. For a line that long, it moved pretty quickly. The workers are efficient and they've got it under control. It's organized chaos. I got a lighter portion of the Sergeant Pepper which had great points. The bread was fantastic with a nice light crunch on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Au jus was flavorful and the portion was humungous for a "lighter" portion. Definitely lots of meat and cheese and peppers. They also have a pretty nice salad bar with ice cream and other goodies. So why 3 stars? The seating is not the greatest. The fact that the tables are so easily moved and cramped together does not make for a great dining experience, especially if crowds stress you out. And no, I'm not the size of a whale. A little more overall spacing between tables and perhaps some increased patio seating would make it 4 stars.

The wife and I love this place. Best place to grab a custom salad from the salad bar. Today I decided to try a sandwich as I wasnt feeling like being terribly healthy. So I grabbed a Beefeater (Lighter Portion) which came with some potato chips (bleh) and I grabbed a cup of their amazing tomato basil soup. Dang is it good. (So is the Chicken Tortilla!) Good sandwich. LARGE sandwich, even at the smaller size. A lot of meat cheese and au jus. Go in for a quick lunch, dinner, or in betweener. Always good. Always fast. They are in the process of remodling so it is slightly chaotic when you first walk in. Be patient and stay for a good meal!

Overview: (this is reviewed as a healthy chain restaurant and mainly on their salad bar- not white linen dining) Food: 4 star Quality: 4 star Ambiance: 1 star when busy, 4 star when not Value: 5 star (free muffins and soft serve ice cream with all meals is great for the kids (and occasionally me too) My family has come to enjoy the Jason's Deli Salad Bar! Many people order sandwiches, I have little experience outside of catered events for their sandwiches (although, I have to say they seem to consistently be great!) This is one of the best salad bars around! Spinach, field greens and romain choices. Fresh veggies like Red/Orange Bell Peppers, cucumbers, baby carrots, broccoli, beets, and baby tomatoes. To tasty additions like bean salad, couscous, almonds, apple slices and trail mix. They even have fun splurges like chocolate mouse or vanilla pudding! There must be 15 salad dressings to choose from, so everyone will find something to enjoy! The ingredients are fresh and the bar is always clean! (5% of the time, there may be something that needs to be replaced/ cleaned) The layout is better than it used to be. When it's busy, I can feel a bit claustrophobic, so if crowds bother you, make note. It's a great place to go at a great value! I highly recommend! Please thumb up/comment if you liked this review and I would count it a privilege if you chose to follow me as I review places I travel and visit. Thank you for taking the time to read! ~mp

How have I never been here before!? This dang beef eater is out of this world. Little pricey, and took a few mins for my food to come to the table.. But well worth the price and wait. Absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a good sub shop, stop in at Jason's deli.

  • Chris P.

Well, Jason's is just a chain and universally consistent. The salad bar is nice and if you want a cup of soup or a sandwich, go! I would stay away from the beefeater. It's really pretty nasty. From the soggy bun to the strange mayo to the dried up beef. It's just really not a good french dip. I get the ranchero wrap (jalapeno spiciness). Points to them for attempting to be the first chain to aim to provide more natural ingredients and excluding trans fat from the menu. Can never beat the free soft serve.

Jason's Deli's sandwiches and raps are tasty, but the best part about Jason's Deli is their huge salad bar. You can put together an awesome salad for way less than Panera or Whole Foods. There's lots of variety, all the vegetables are always crisp and fresh and it's basically all you can eat... so if you're like me and have a hard time filling up on salad, you can go get another plate. The best part is that in addition to the standard salad vegetables, they also have pasta salad, potato salad, tuna salad, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and berries, whipped chocolate mousse, corn muffins and ginger muffins - all part of the salad bar.

This salad bar has THE BEST organic toppings I've ever seen. I've Yelped other places in the area, and all fingers point back to Jason's Deli. PROS: quality, price CONS: hard to get seated, lots of tables close together, loud

Not impressed on 1st visit. The chicken pot pie soup tasted like corn starch and not much else. The turkey & avocado sandwich sounds better than it tasted. The other reviewers seem to like it so I will give it another shot.

Best salad bar in Franklin Cool Springs is Jason's Deli. Apples, grapes and strawberrys are usually on the salad bar. Pasta, muffins, nuts and berries, three bean salad and artichokes are a part. Humus, a couple of chopped meats and many salad dressings are included. The fresh veggies are great and fresher than the competition. And there's more. Of course Jason's is also popular for its paninis, soups and muffalettas. Across from Sam's for eating convenience.

Oh, Jason's Deli! How I love thee! Let me count the ways! I eat at Jason's at least once a week. We're a health conscious family, and their light menu is fantastic. I never feel like I'm being deprived. The kids menu is great and inexpensive. The salad bar is stocked with yummy things like artichokes and humus. They'll make me specialty items that are no longer on the menu and don't even flinch when I ask. The black current tea is fantastic. The customer service is great. The to-go order is quick and efficient. I've never had a order that I didn't like. Also, FREE ICE CREAM! However, there are a few downsides. Parking is a pain. A big pain. Usually you can grab a spot next door at Chuck E Cheese, but even that can be hard on the weekends. Just like the parking lot, the seating area is often VERY crowded. Since we have a toddler in tow, we usually get there early, around 11 am for lunch or 5:30 pm for dinner, and we tend to beat the crowd. And just a short story about their awesomeness... One day, my daughter, then 1, and I were eating lunch with another friend and her one year old. The kids made a big mess, and after we finished, I got on the floor to clean up a bit. That's when a manager came over and said, "Don't worry about cleaning up. We'll get it. It was just fun watching the girls eat lunch and play." I was already a loyal Jason's customer at that point, but they got a life-long patron that day!

I am always so confused by the organzation and layout of this place---it is a tad stressful to walk in and not know what to do you place an order move down pay grab food....I guess they have an okay selection. As far as the type of food goes it is on the safe side--I do feel it is a bit on the expensive side and not enough options in other price ranges for people that don't want large portion or price... The tea was good... I also got rushed out on a non-busy saturday afternoon as the workers were too eager to grab our plates or trays....I don't like that as I am a talker and a slow eater and will pick around with my plate for awhile....

I am finding that I like or not like a place as it relates to the overall experience. The food at Jason's is good. The salad bar has a lot to offer. Their staff and system is efficient. I just find myself not feeling peaceful eating there. As others have mentioned, the tables are kind of haphazard. I find myself getting up to get more stuff - something I forgot at the salad bar, walking around to get drinks. It doesn't sound that different from other places that have a similar setup, but it just feels disjointed to me. I prefer McCallister's for a deli meal.

Sure it's a national chain. But it's the closest thing to a real deli I've seen in this town. I'm sure there is better in the city, but here in the burbs...

Jason's Deli has the BEST pastrami sandwiches ANYWHERE! I crave these overflowing sandwiches at least 1x a week and Jason's never disappoints! Our order of choice (we get the same thing) is hot pastrami on french bread w/ onions, banana peppers & mustard and pasta salad instead of chips and it is literally enough to keep us full all day (we usually eat 1/2 and save the other half for dinner). Visiting Jason's can be a little crowded and the wait can take a little longer than you'd like (oh... and parking is a bear if it's lunch time... mainly from the ridiculous chaos at Chick-Fil-A... which I don't get, but that's another review). Is it worth it though? YES! We gave up eating inside and just phone our order in... or order online. Trust me... it's the way to go! Their menu is so vast, their food is always fresh and their service is always excellent. I've never tried their salad bar (I don't much like anything that's buffet style); but it looks great and is always packed which I'm guessing means it's pretty yummy. Their soups are very good & their selection is vast (I think 8-10 soups everyday). One thing you may not think to get at their "Deli" is a hidden treasure called... the Texas Spud. It's a pork loaded potato w/ cheese, chives, sour cream & bbq sauce and it is AMAZING (but go w/ the 1/2 spud, it's really large). The icing on the cake (or should I say, ice cream) is their free soft serve ice cream! If I was homeless... I'd just live by Jason's and enjoy, it doesn't technically say "free ice cream w/ purchase" it just says free ice cream :) If you want an amazing sandwich, visit Jason's... it's a little more than Subway, but it's quality reins supreme. Ok, now I'm hungry!!!!!

My coworkers and I order from them frequently. They are one of the only places in Franklin that delivers so needless to say that's why we continue to deal with the staff. The food is good, but it seems like every time we order from them, there is always an issue. They forget something, or the food is not ready for pickup when they say it will be or they put charges on the wrong card. And when we order food at 9:00 in the morning, you would think they could get it to you by 11:00, but that's never the case. It's always after 11:45, sometimes 1:00 p.m. before we get it. Today, a couple of coworkers ordered sweet teas and the delivery guy gave it away to another customer. It's little mistakes...but they can do better.

So, this is apparently a chain restaurant frequented by the most savvy of sandwich goers - well, as savvy as people can be that enjoy chain restaurants the most. I decided to give it a whirl because I was hungry and stuck in monstrous traffic out near the Galleria on Black Friday. (I know, I know... I shouldn't have ventured near the mall in the first place... I was a total dumb dumb for doing so... won't happen again.) My understanding was that they serve a heapin' helpin' of meat on their sandwiches but I was a non-believer. I got a sandwich with Jalapeno Pepper Jack cheese, bacon, smoked turkey, and an olive oil basted panini bread. The meat portion was substantial and the sandwich was pretty good. I wasn't overly impressed however, and it was the same as any old other chain restaurant sandwich (like Panera, etc.) I probably wouldn't go back, but it wasn't awful.

Jason's Deli is the mack daddy of delis. It has a true deli style with sandwiches and soups you can order at the counter and a big salad bar with all-you-can-eat ice cream. Yes it's expensive...but the sandwiches and salad bar are FRESH. It ain't cheap to put pure spinach on a salad bar people! Put down the Big Mac and go to Jason's.

Jason's Deli has always been my favorite place for a good salad bar, but yesterday it was awful. It was 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded. The lettuce was very wet/wilted, bacon container empty (though they did bring me a generous portion from behind the counter), many other containers were empty, no crackers in any of the baskets, the whole salad bar was a mess, water on the floor. It seems since they remodeled, things are not as good. Cool Springs needs to take a lesson from the Murfreesboro Jason's - always good, fresh and clean!!

I love this place because they have Udi's gluten free bread on hand and a good gluten free menu. I used to be obsessed with Jason's Deli when I lived in Texas. Sometimes when I was traveling for work I would find the Jason's Deli and eat there for every meal for a couple of days in a row. And that was before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I was so happy to hear when Jason's Deli started to carry Udi's gluten free bread. I didn't live near a Jason's Deli before, but now that I live in Nashville I have visited this location four times. I walked out with a great tasting sandwich three of those times. One of those times I ordered, paid, and then sat down waiting to take my sandwich back to my office. One of the workers came and got me to tell me they had run out of gluten free bread. I was devastated! Since I already paid, the manager wrote me a "coupon" on the back of a business card good for the same sandwich at a different time. This week I called ahead to make sure they had gluten free bread on hand (they did) and then went in to place my order. I had misplaced the "coupon" the manager had written me and was worried 1) I would never find it, or 2) they wouldn't remember me and think I was lying. Fortunately the manager that wrote me the "coupon" was working that day, she remembered me, and she honored the "coupon" even though I didn't have it on me. I thought that was great customer service! I promised her that I'm an honest person and if I ever find it I would throw it away. Anyway, I like this place for a good gluten free sandwich.

I love this place! I don't know how to adequetly express the yumminess that exudes from the choices here. Hey now, I'm not saying it's gourment, melt in your mouth, tidbits from heaven food, but as a deli standard, it is just great! Portions are great, the salad bar is one of the better stocked ones I've seen around here. The soups are oh so yummy. It is definiately one of my favorite fall backs when I just can't decide!

  • Jen C.

Yummy! I love Jason's when I'm in town! The California sandwich is my regular!! I usually get it with fruit because they have a yummy dipping sauce! My boyfriend ordered the steam veggies and they were good too! I tried the pastrami sandwich for the first time but was a little disappointed. I thought it was too much meat for the type of bread they put it on. It should have been on a hoagie! I go back time and time again!!

The salad bar is good. The wrap left much to be desired. It gets crazy busy in there. Since I don't see much a point in over-paying for salad at a restaurant when it's much cheaper to eat salad at home; I haven't gone back.

Jason's Deli is really good! I've been several times with friends. I get wraps every time. As a MAJOR fan of guacamole, they have a really great one. I always get a side of it with my baked Lay's and wrap. The turkey wrap is super, as is the vegetable wrap with spinach and portebello mushrooms. Its kind of messy; i wouldn't recommend it for date night. The best part of the meal is the complimentary soft serve ice cream that just makes my belly happy :)
