If a restaurant has the name "Beef" in it you know it is not for vegans. Hey, I have nothing against vegans, my wife, the most beautiful, sweet, sexy, and wonderful person I know, was a vegetarian for eight years. Back to my review. If you find yourself in Crossville take the time to locate this owner-operated little gem. You are immediately greeted at the door with a friendly face and my server, an experienced and highly attentive woman was helpful with reciting the specials. Today I had the special which was hand breaded and fried shrimp and clam strips. Of course this was accompanied with fries and cole slaw. I would give this dish a solid 4 stars. However, I have had in the past here a five star Reuben. (You know the hard to find old-school Reuben) I would give that sandwich a five star rating. I also tried the home-made apple pie which had a terrific crust and fresh apples inside) a nice treat.

I stopped by for dinner with a couple of business colleagues and had a very good meal. Both of my colleagues ordered steaks which were cooked perfectly as ordered. I had the baby back ribs and really enjoyed them. This place serves mostly American food, from steaks and chicken to seafood and salads. The soups were very good and my salad was composed of all fresh ingredients. Best of all was our server Carolyn who kept our drinks full and continually checked on us without hovering. I wouldn't change a thing about their menu. My only suggestion would be for them to make the soups and salad dressings in-house, as well as the desserts. It's always more special if a restaurant can offer items that are made in the kitchen instead of coming from their food wholesaler. That being said, I would go back without hesitation.

Love this place... The chicken wings are AWESOME... They are huge compared to other places... Clam strip are very good also almost more than you can eat.. Staff is excellent and will recognize you on your second trip... My family loves this place...

Great service, good food with large portions. Reese's Peanut-butter Cake was huge & fabulous. Incredibly inexpensive as well.
