Really great home cooking on the cheap, those whom have referred to this as a greasy spoon, are absolutely correct. But oh so good "homestyle cooking". Got breakfast when we went and for $16 got so much food that neither one of us wanted to walk out from being so full. Great wait staff, very friendly and courteous.

Great little Diner find in Clarksville, I had a country fried steak, two eggs, and they do pancakes almost anyway you could imagine. I had peanut butter and banana in mine and it was awesome!

Place is 25 to 30 years old and she shows her age.This was my 4th visit in probably 20 years and its not that I didn't like the place it's just easy to drive by and not notice. The wait staff was efficent and pleasant but I did notice the regulars are given different level of service. That is not a good or bad thing, just an obervation. I had a Western Omelette, toast and coffee and the omelette was superb. The ingredents were mixed, placed on the grill and sauted for several minutes before adding. yep, thats a good thing. She is a classic greasy spoon, and gets High makes for that, but she does need a DEEEEEEP cleaning and have a little shine put back on her. I will return and more often cause there is a bunch on that 4 page menu and its all gonna be pretty good....... and greasy!

I am so happy I finally found an awesome diner in Clarksville!!!! This is the perfect dive diner, the food rocks, and the wait staff exude southern hospitality. Not only that but Rudy actually works there and makes your food!!!!! During my meal he actually came over and asked how things were. A must try in Clarksville!!!

I love Rudy's Diner. The setting is very "classic diner", the staff is lively and attentive, and the food is craveably good (I'm addicted to the catfish and loved their mashed potatoes). They have a surprisingly vast menu for a diner, which includes grilled and steamed options for dieters and several vegetarian choices. They recently added veggie burgers to the menu, which are almost impossible to find at a restaurant in Clarksville. You can also substitute grilled chicken or salmon steak for traditional beef on any of their burgers. And you can't beat their prices (they even take credit cards, and most of the other cheap-eats places around here don't). We've got dinner for three with drinks and dessert for around $20. That's less that what I spend at Taco Bell!

I've been going to Rudy's for ages. When I was little my mother used to bring me here and I had such fond memories of it and the food. I'd always get their mashed potatoes and it was one of my favorite things to eat ever. I hadn't been in quite a while and just recently started coming back a few months back and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. The food is some of the best you can get in town and the prices are unbeatable, especially for the quality of food and service. I've never had a bad meal here. And even though I hadn't been here in quite a while after the first time I came back my waitress recognized me and my boyfriend who came with me. It's nice going somewhere and always seeing a familiar face and having them remember you. I look forward to having the same waitress every time I come and always get the same friendly service and amazing food. Even though it's easy to miss when driving by, it's well worth going out of your way for and I can't recommend it enough.

Friendly & funny staff combined with good food and very good coffee make this place an excellent choice to stop. Good prices and breakfast anytime make it even better. I had the banana pecan pancakes on my first time here...better than any IHOP or waffle house for sure.

Not impressed. My husband and I recently went in there for breakfast. The hash browns had no flavor and I always thought french toast was supposed to be made with Texas toast; not just plain sandwich bread. My husband had an omelet. It was decent but again, had no flavor to it. Our server looked like she came out of a back ally and had just done meth. The place needs a general overhaul. The restaurant is filthy, the windows are broken, the floor is gross etc...I think my biggest issue with this place is that nobody was wearing gloves and a lot of cross-contamination seemed to be a possibility. Definitely won't eat here again.

Great prices, nice people, food is good not great, but for the price I would rate it as great. Enjoy coming here with my sons cause they get to eat shrimp or steak without breaking the bank

We love this place! We were a little hesitant to try it because the exterior is a little rough. But so glad we did. The food is awesome and always fresh. The staff is friendly and efficient. We have become regular because it's so reasonable price wise as well.

I enjoyed this place. The service was good and the waitress was very patient with my wife and me, as we had no idea of what to order. We passed by the place a few times and after seeing ads for it on Yelp, it just seemed fitting to stop by. It's a lot like Huddle House but it didn't feel as cheap. The prices are very similar. I had the southwestern omelette and it was certainly big enough and not overly greasy. No complaints there. There weren't a lot of jellies/jams to choose from (I think two or three) but it didn't detract from the dining experience. I'm coming here again to check out the burgers. The parking lot is pretty large for this place although it may share the lot with the nearly bowling alley. The place wasn't terribly busy and I suspect it's due to the folks who opted for Bojangles' or the IHOP across the street. Not bad choices, but it was their loss on this particular morning.

If there is a little line don't let it deter you! The wait it short and the food is amazing! Everyone from the waitstaff to the customers who walk through the door are friendly, and welcoming! Definitely just found the best spot to eat breakfast in Clarksville!!!

I love this place! It's cheap, you get a lot of delicious food, and the staff is super friendly! Generally we get breakfast. Today I ordered French toast for the first time, and it was delicious! They also have better hash browns (and you get wayyyyyy more) than Denny's or Waffle House. The husband and I will continue to go here a lot!

Went by there tonight and seen they were closed. Some how didn't surprise me in the least. Last time we were in the service was terrible and place was just down right nasty. Don't know what has happened that he has gone down hill cause he's such a good cook and wonderful prices. But sorry the place is just nasty.

The corned beef hash is amazing!!! They have really good pancakes and the service is always great! Everything I've had has been delicious. Hoping to come back more often and try more off the menu. :)

We've only been for breakfast but really enjoyed it both times. Cherry pancakes were great, and there was a lot. The eggs, sausage, home fries are great too. The service is friendly and fast. It's a great local greasy spoon.

This place is a great place to have breakfast. It's very friendly service and the food is not only amazing but it's very cheap. I got an omelet with home fries and it easily beat g's pancake house and waffle house combined. My new favorite breakfast diner for sure.
