I don't eat here as often as I'd like because frankly, my waistline couldn't handle it, but my goodness, the food is good. They offer 4 different sizes of burgers so there's something there for every appetite. I usually get the smallest burger and am quite satisfied, and my husband (of course) gets the largest. It's also the only burger place I've been to in Clarksville that offers turkey bacon (that's right, I get my nice, greasy burger with turkey bacon on it. I wish they had veggie burgers so I could get those with turkey bacon on them, haha). They also have good barbeque. I buy a bottle of their homemade sauce pretty much every time I stop in. The staff is extremely friendly, with cheerful dispositions and they seem to genuinely like their jobs. I've always felt very comfortable and welcome at Kelly's, and as an African-American new to Clarksville, I can't say that about every establishment I've been in. Admittedly, I like the flavor of Johnny's Big Burgers a little more, but I still go to Kelly's whenever I want a burger simply because of their great customer service. It's the kind of establishment I want to support--minus, perhaps, the fact that eating this kind of food every day will kill you =( Guilt aside, I really do love Kelly's Big Burger.

My husband and I were looking for some REAL BURGERS- not chain restaurant style- and a coworker suggested Kelly's. It's a hole in the wall right on the river. We orders jumbo bacon burgers and we were not disappointed! A couple juicy, bacony, cheesy burgers were delivered to our table- along with a yummy chocolate milk shake and fries. Needless to say... We found our favorite local burger joint! Check it out- leave your judgements at the door.

THIS. PLACE. IS. AMAZING. My husband and I were leary of trying this place because even though it got stellar reviews (spot on!), the pictures didn't really pull us in. Well let me tell you, those pictures don't do that food justice. We both had a burger and it was one of the top burgers of my life. So delicious and moist. Sometimes its just the simple things in life that can be great. You don't always need a million different weird toppings to make a burger. Just cheese bacon and a few condiments will do. The fries could have been a little crispier but I know that sometimes that is just my own preference. My husband got the fried mushrooms and loved them! Their prices are great, so reasonable. They have different specials each day and always have a variety of PIE! :) Yum! Don't have a military discount but you won't need one with these prices. Small place with only a handfull of booths and even less counter stools, but there was plenty of open seating while we were there. Also, open 24 hours!!

Not your typical greasy spoon diner, Kellys does something to your typical diner burger to make it tender, juicy, flavorful and authentic. Add in southern hospitality and ridiculously good portion to cost ratio, and they have more than surpassed expectations. Will go again and again. Especially if they keep the blue cheese burger around. My recommendation: sweet tea, onion rings and the blue cheese burger, add bacon

We love this diner. The prices are always super low and the food and service is great! It's not anything fancy but the decor is fun. I've never ordered anything I didn't like! Best Burgers in Town.

I had scramble eggs with ribeye steak and sausage and it was pretty good. I ate that food like there was no tomorrow.

I went here with super high expectations because of what people had to say about it. My wife went in to grab a couple burgers for her and I to take home. The burger was ok. It's a pretty basic burger. There was no crazy sauce like some places back home have ( Los Angeles ). I'm used to having big burgers with some awesome homemade sauce on it. This burger was very small and was just "ok" to me. The fries were ok as well. I probably won't be back but just had to try it and see what this fuss is about. I'll stick to 5 guys since there isn't a in-n-out burger around here haha

I really enjoy this place. I eat breakfast here at least 3 to 4 time a week. The staff is very friendly and you never have to wait for anything. The environment is really relaxed and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place when ever you find your self on riverside.

You can't beat what you get for what you spend. This is a cash only place, but don't worry about it..... you probably have enough wadded up ones in your pocket after drinking to pay for anything you want to get here.

Unfortunately I have to say that this establishment is not very great. The building is not very clean and there food is barely tolerable. Most of the food is pre-made or out of a package. Chicken strips are what you would find a a fast food restaurant. They are ground up and formed into "strips" and then deep fried. Their waffles are also pre-made (at least the one I got was). Apparently they make them in advance and refrigerate or freeze them. When they are ordered, they are placed on a the flat grill until they "look" done. Which is basically burning the outer parts of the waffle. Service was friendly but VERY slow. My awful waffle was even forgot about until I reminded them. It took 15minutes for a pre-made waffle. The only thing I actually ate that I ordered was the French fries that came with my chicken strips (it's hard to mess up fries). This was the second time I visited this eatery and I still am not impressed. The first time I was there one of the owners was smacking flies with a fly swatter on the table tops and flicking them on the floor. Unhealthy and very unprofessional. I am very surprised someone has not gotten sick.

I love their burgers!!! I don't love their fries but they are ok. Our friend ordered a bacon sandwich thinking it would be a breakfast sandwich but it was bread and bacon. So don't forget to read the complete description! Plus if you love a great patty melt then get theirs! It is greasy, cheesy, and delicious. They have great prices and their burgers are just as good a five guys and burgers and more plus they are a lot cheaper!!!! My husband's favorite is their double cheeseburger. Their hash browns are delicious also. I have also tried their twice baked potato, which doesn't have bacon, and it was super creamy.

Service not the greatest. Actually felt like we were forgotten for a while because we didn't order the moment we sat down. Saw one couple have to ask to have their order taken. Dingy old diner that's not too clean looking, could really use some freshening up. Burgers were beyond amazing, I was super pleased and that's why they get 4 stars despite the bad service. I cannot wait to try a different burger next time. Don't go in expecting some nice clean place, but if you are looking for a tasty burger this is it!

Stopped here after church this week for lunch. They serve breakfast all day which my wife loves. I had the double cheese burger my wife the french toast. Both meals were delicious and well portioned. Service was friendly and prompt as far as atmosphere typical dinner crowd.

Little did I know that diner type food still exists, especially in Clarksville home of strip mall chains and not much else. Trying to find a place away from Exit 4 for dinner is a challenge but Kelly's was open and I pulled in with a friend of mine. It seems like a place where regulars have been coming for years, families come in on weekly and I seriously saw someone walk in say the usual and walk out while the waitress/cook/cashier cooked up something and packed it up. Not to say that I felt unwelcome as a newcomer at all we were given time to decide/look over the menu. We asked questions about menu items that we never heard and they put up with us and answered everything with patience. The Big burger here is an 8 ouncer, and I got the bacon cheeseburger one with the works and 'munchers' which were like hash browns with cheese. The burger was cooked on the griddle and I could taste the juice of it. The 'mucnher's were kind of 'eh' and I should have just gone with good old fashioned french fries instead. My friend got a smaller burger with onion rings and that was a better option. I can't come to a place like this and go without a dessert. I got the peanut butter pie, an icebox style pie which was tasty, and smooth. Diners live!

Best burgers in the town, every other place is a little dirty and don't take care of their food, but this place for what it is, is pretty awesome, their user to be an.older lady Carol but she's gone

A friend came here get lunch when a sever told him that he wasn't going to be served because of his sexual orientation. He left but then a group of employees chased him and called him "faggot". This is terrible service and rude. Please don't support them.

Their food is pretty good; I don't eat beef, but everyone else in my party loved their burgers. However, I wasn't impressed with their chicken fries- they were a overcooked and a little chewy. The other problem I had was that the milkshake I got was separated into the solid and liquid parts- yuck. Also, they serve cheese sticks with ketchup instead of marinara, which seems a little odd to me.

I love their patty melt with fries! No matter what time of the day it is, when I go in its what I get. Their big breakfast is pretty awesome too. Great family owned restaurant. Definitely a place to stop in at if you've never been.
