This location has been our family go-to restaurant since they opened. I've had awful experiences with this chain at other locations, but the Nolensville/Brentwood store is fantastic. The wait staff is all super friendly--some have even learned our drink and food order over time. The food here is always fresh and pretty quick. I'm a big fan! *Kid-friendly *Casual environment *Can get loud *Sign up for their email promo's (they usually send a $5 coupon or similar each month)

The servers are always very nice and friends with kids! I'm not a huge fan of their tortilla chips, pretty bland and generic, but like the salsa a lot! I think they have a nice selection on their menu as well. I usually love to order the chicken and vegetables, but you can tell that the vegetables have been frozen a while. I wish they were fresh, still good though. Their soups have been really good. The chicken soup would be my favorite.

I used to love Las Palmas. The times I have tried it lately (different locations) have all been disappointments. I tried Nolensville today. Waited 10 minutes before deciding to leave. No one stopped to take my order. Won't go back to any locations ever. They need to work on their customer service as well as their food quality, which has been steadily declining.

There are several Las Palmas and they generally are about the same, so the rating of the food would be consistent, but the atmosphere is better at the Nolensville location than others I have been to. Anyway, as far as food goes, the food options are better than average for Mexican food, just not fantastic. The biggest hit are the Enchiladas Poblanos. Mole dishes in general are hard to find at Mexican restaurants and this place has 2 (or maybe even 3) and they are great. I also think the enchiladas in general are pretty good as are the fajitas. The 2 biggest issues that knock this place (and other Las Palmas) down are 1: the margaritas 2: the salsa. I don't like fruity margaritas and so I generally get house margaritas. Unfortunately, the margaritas are very acidic and have this greenish hue to them. They are just not very pleasant tasting. That being said, my wife enjoys the Mango margaritas so I can't comment on the fruit ones, but the house ones leave much to be desired. Additionally, the salsa is bland. It is just lacking. It reminded me of store bought Pace, which isn't bad tasting, but doesn't feel very authentic. But these issues are outweighed by the mole dishes, which allow Las Palmas to be more authentic then the average Mexican restaurant.

If I had to put a title for this review it would be "An Okay Mexican Restaurant". I've been here a few times, each time I leave thinking "I wished we'd went to a different Mexican place." Now I don't want you to think that this place has bad food. The food is always okay. It's just that it's not great. There aren't any flavorful items on the menu. Everything has basic flavors, even the salsa is more tomato flavored than salsa flavored. The staff is always fast and pleasant. If someone wanted to go her for lunch or dinner I'd first ask them if they'd been before and if they're still wanting, I'd ask if they'd like to try a different place. The last time I was there I got a lunch special number #8 which is two soft chicken tacos and a cheese quesadilla. My favorite thing was the cheese quesadilla because it had a buttery flavor on the outside of the quesadilla and didn't taste bland like the tacos. If you're in a rush and craving Mexican, you might go here, or save a few dollars and hit the new Taco Bell in the same shopping center.

"The Palmas" as we call it is an awesome authentic Mexican restaurant. What sets it apart for me is it's convenient location (only a couple of miles from my place) and the super friendly staff.

We have ordered take out multiple times since Oct '14 when we moved here. Speaking to TAKE OUT ONLY, the service has been easy, prices fair, and quality of food has been better than most. It's not authentic by far, but by local standards, it's good enough. We have ordered the shrimp tacos, multiple burritos, guacamole (not authentic and scratch-made, but good), multiple quesadilas, and chorizo con huevos. all have been good. seeing as they are a 6 min walk from the house, we will continue to use them. not authentic, but hits the spot when craving "mexican" in middle tn.

Pretty much standard Mexican food the restaurant very clean nice decor and the service is efficient and friendly. They have decent drink specials and I never had a bad meal here I say the best Las Palmas in town.

I'm a regular at this place. Excellent happy hour specials. If you sign up for their email list you'll receive their monthly coupons which normally consist of free meals or .99 tacos. Only thing is I wish they did a trivia night. Overall amazing food

First visit since they remodeled. Place looks great and the food was excellent as usual. Friendly wait staff and prompt service.

I feel like the quality of food has declined over the years at just about every Las Palmas location. This one is, I think, the newest one out there. It's pretty inconsistent... some times it's very good and others it's extremely average. On the plus side, they have done a good job lately of adding some new items to their menu. Service is generally attentive, but I have had at least 2 very poor wait staff. Better option than the Nippers Corner location.

The best Las Palmas in Nashville. Quick and super friendly! ! Was even nice to my son. Get the Chori Pollo. I pass 2 other Las Palmas before I get to this one, and it's worth it. Even the decor is better than the others.

Wow really! ? I will quite readily look the other way when it comes to dismal service, that is if the food makes up for it - not so in this case. Our server, with 3 tables felt it necessary to bus a table and take care of a check before acknowledging us. When she finally reappeared (in no way cordially ) I ordered drinks and asked if there was a hotter salsa available which she confirmed but I never got. The normal salsa in no way resembles anything approaching Mexican. It is literally canned crushed tomatoes with maybe some garlic powder in it. I got the enchiladas Rancheras which were very bland and tasted mostly like the partially frozen iceberg lettuce served aside. Furthermore, I had to resort to drinking my son's drink since our server was so busy. So needless to say I won't be returning. And a tip for the staff here: Go to Garcia's in Franklin for a clue on how salsa, service and entrees are supposed to be done.

A very good go to restaurant... nothing mind blowing. I will say they have a chorizo (sp) and potato burrito I think they call it cabo burrito. Anyway. Totally worth a stop if you're in the area.

Worst ever. Margarita from a machine contained very little alcohol and cost $22 for the pitcher which we did not drink and waitress could care less. Food was very bland.

Food ok. Nothing special. They had no idea what a gluten allergy was which was very disappointing.

Okay, so I didn't actually eat here, just enjoyed a JUMBO top shelf margarita. Oh, and the guacamole. It was the first margarita I've had in FOREVER that wasn't mostly sweet and sour. Infact, I would have to say it was probably mostly tequilla, just the way they should be. Good thing I wasn't driving!!!

After reading the review my business partner and I decided to try it for a dinner meeting, wish I didn't, should have gone to chuys. The waiter was slow, put upon and rude. I asked to speak to the manager because the waiter took our drinks away without replacing them. I know where the waiter gets his rude attitude, the manager. The food was nothing special, you cam get the same at taxi bell. Yes you can get in and out...nut is that always a good thing. I will take the wait at chuys in cool springs. If you want fast try taxi bell.

Sadly, I've got to update this. The last few times we've been, it just wasn't it's old self. It got really popular and busy for awhile there, and then they started making changes...shrinking the cup sizes, changing the chips, bringing out a new menu. I'm not even sure who's running it now...seems to be different. I don't see the same wait staff. I don't know, I miss the good ole days. I hope I can upgrade this again soon.

Not so good. There is a stale smell and taste that permeates the place. I think it's time for an oil change is the chip fryer. There are many better choices around.

This is my favorite Nashville Mexican joint, and the food is--thankfully--predictably good. We've been going to this restaurant since we moved into our house a little over a year ago. We can get in, have our meal, and be out in about 45 minutes most of the time. And I frequently get coupons in the mail for $5 off of two dinner entrées, making this one of the more affordable sit-downs in the area.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
