Great lunch spot and the Mediterranean wrap is so good! If you like salmon, try their wrap. This is a great place to eat when you are looking for a healthier alternative to the run of the mill fast food spots.
Chill Spot is a great place for a quick, healthy bite. The service is friendly though the food can take some time to prepare. The brothers that own the place are, predictably, super chill. Bubble tea is what they are known for, and I've only ever tried the milk tea caramel coffee option, but I can say that it was delicious and I'll be buying it again. The portion sizes are rather large when it comes to the teas so you'll be satisfied by that. I have order many veggie wraps from here and every one of them have been well made and are consistently prepared in that they always seem to have the right/same amount of ingredients. They will also add other ingredients to wraps, so be sure to ask about that if you want to go off-menu. The wraps are filling as they never skimp on the sizes. I've always gotten the fruit cup as an option and the fruit always seems to be fresh and crisp. They have a good amount of seating which is nice because the place gets busy late afternoon and evening. Highly recommend, bring a friend.
I needed to kill an hour and was a bit hungry. How appropriate it was whenever I stumbled onto the Chill Spot. I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and it wasdelicious! They didn't skimp on the ingredients. The atmosphere was fun and the music was great. Definitely worth trying.

Chick-fil-A

Reviews:
Just moved to the area and Went through the drive-thru and had the worst Chick Fil-A experience I have ever had. And I've lived in several different states and have been to several different Chick-Fil-a locations. I don't usually make yelp reviews but I felt the need to make an account just to review this place. First off, the guy taking the order was purposefully asking annoying questions like .. "Do you want your chicken well done or slightly done?" And then laughing while he was doing so. He had an attitude the whole time and was basically being the biggest a**hole. Second, the girl at the window had an attitude as well when we told her that our order was not correct (of course it wasn't correct). She basically didn't care and seem bothered when we asked her to fix it. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the food wasn't bad.
I had flames! Flames on the side of my face! Ok, not really, I just love any excuse to quote one of my favorite movies. Seriously though, why was the chicken so spicy? It's been years since I've had Chick-Fil-A and I really do not remember it being so spicy. My mom and I had the basic grilled chicken. My mom found it so spicy she couldn't eat it. My dad ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and he was sweating. My favorite part of Chick-Fil-A are the waffle fries! Yummy!
Heresy I know, but Chick-fil-a is like a frickin' daycare with chicken tenders. Then you have to put up with a huge line. Is the chicken and fries better than any other fast food joint? Yeah, its alright/pretty good chicken, but the price point puts you nearly at a nicer local joint to get your chicken and waffle (fries) fix. I seriously have to think all these people obsessed with CF literally drank some creepy childhood kool-aid somewhere along the line to put up with how torrentially busy they are at all times. Just call McDougals, Sam's or Otters and get it to go, then if you have a tot, head to a nice outdoor playground. Done. The only cool thing about this place is those rad ketchup packets for dippin' or squirting. Extra star ;)

I must admit that I only ever get take out from here, because the take out containers are just about the best tupper-ware I can find. The food is great, and it reminds me of when I used to work/live in China. The owners are very nice and indulge me as I try to practice the little Mandarin that I remember, most of which centers around ordering beer and getting a cab home.
We've been going here since they opened for take out. It doesn't get much better than this around here these days for Chinese. The food is fresh and average priced. Nothing special to write home about just all the traditional Chinese foods we count on. Owners are not particularly friendly but since we've always gotten take out, doesn't really matter.
Sorry to burst the bubble y'all. It's good food...and I haven't found better Asian/Chinese in the area...but, are we grading on a sliding scale or what? It's good. It is. In fact, the crab rangoon is to die for. But, let me just rattle off a quick list of disappointments. For those who can't handle spicey foods, there isn't a basic...yes, probably somewhat bland...moo goo gai pan, sesame chicken, or cashew chicken variation...and nothing non-spicy with water chestnuts! That's criminal! I think the wimpy taste-bud possessing people are getting discriminated against here. We can't help it if extra hot spices make us scream in pain, with tears gushing from our eyes. That's just the way we were made. :-/ So, I tred to make up for it with fried rice. The hubs ordered pork, and while good, it was lacking eggs and vegetables. Nada. Just rice and pork. That was a let down. I expect a little egg in there, and at least a few scrawny veggies would be nice. As a previous reviewer said, It is a let-down that they don't deliver. But living where I do, the only restaurants that deliver are a few pizza places anyway. And, lastly, added to my whine list, several times my husband has tried to call from the restaurant, wanting to know what the kids and I want, and there is always an issue with our wireless. ATT has a dead zone there or something...which also stinks, but I guess that's an ATT issue (*sigh* another review?) To end this review on a positive though...the egg rolls were also yum-meeeee!

Mediterranean Cuisine

I'm a paraplegic and use a wheelchair. I also have a service dog that helps me get around. I tried to have lunch today at Mediterranean Cuisine and as soon as my husband, my service dog and I entered the restaurant we were told to leave by two staff members because they didn't allow dogs. I explained that she's a trained service dog (she had her service dog vest on and everything) and still they said that we couldn't be in there and then told us that we could scare the other customers. I take my service dog everywhere (I even fly on planes with her). She's highly trained, has a wonderful temperament, and I've never once had a complaint. Until now. Mediterranean Cuisine made me feel humiliated. I've seriously never felt so discriminated against. Two other patrons (we didn't know them) that had entered the restaurant right behind us heard the whole ordeal and actually stood up for us trying to explain to the employees that she's a service dog. These patrons actually left, refusing to eat there, because we had been denied. It's against the law (Americans with Disabilities Act) to deny service to someone with a service dog and I'm looking into what actions we can take to make sure the restaurant learns that they can't treat people with disabilities like this in the future.
I LOVE this place. First off, let me say that I love Greek & Mediterranean food & eat it very often. I come here a couple times a month now.. I would recommend the gyro, chicken platter (which comes with hummus, rice, Greek salad, pita bread), & the hummus. The hummus is absolutely delicious! Also, the staff is really friendly & always have my to go order out quickly! I've never sat down to eat but it's pretty nice inside.
An explosion of flavor in my mouth! While the name doesn't do this place justice, the simplicity can be appreciated. Don't let the name or the odd location deter you, though. This place is the real deal. I was greeted so warmly by the gentleman behind the counter, so I asked him what he recommended. Less than 5 minutes later I had the most amazing lamb gyro platter with salad, hummus, pita and tabbouleh for $7.49. It usually comes with rice, but I don't do rice and he didn't hesitate to offer a substitution. That made me happy. Wish I'd had a chance to try the falafel before leaving town. I wish even more that I could go there right now.

But really, how could you go wrong with ColdStone Creamery?! You can't! I'm vegan and even I can enjoy this epic dessert land! This ColdStone is in a great location next to Target. If you've ever been then you know you pick a size, an ice cream, and then decorate it with other delicious things like sprinkles, fruit, brownies, etc. My ice cream artist (thinking Subway here) was very pleasant and helpful. I decided to treat myself on a rainy day and ended up with a unique pink champagne sorbet with banana :) So yummy! I only wish they had vegan ice cream! The flavors are just endless. I do remember before being vegan that the birthday cake remix was my shizz! Treat yo self! And tip the staff for some tunes :)
It's a great location. Very friendly staff. Very good ice cream & that's to be expected. The price is not high. It's cool they sing while working keeping everyone interested in the product. It has a really good vibe here.
Cold stone was my favorite ace cream. I had ice cream at this location twice. First time the service was great and the owner seem like a nice man. Second time I didn't like how my ice cream was put into the sugar cone and asked to fill in inside the cone as well. Then SARA, tall girl with glasses slapped some ice cream with an attitude and made me feel bad for wanting my ice scream the way I enjoy it, filled inside and a nice round scoop on top, I didn't enjoy it that time because it was a sloppy mess.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

8113 Moores Ln,Ste 1900
Brentwood, 37027
Reviews:
This isn't my first time here. Today, as usual the staff and manager (owner?) were super friendly, helpful and upbeat. The staff made recommendations of beef brisket (crazy juicy and tender), baked potato casserole and macaroni & cheese (they were out of mac-n-cheese so I opted for green beans with bacon...meh). Regardless of the mediocre green beans, the meal as a whole and overall experience was wonderful.
Food is good but this is the third time we've gotten takeout and they have left out an order. No condiments. No sour cream. Should have checked our order after the third time but the guy sat there and checked the order because three people in front of us did not get everything that they ordered. Get it together guys!
My friend and I walked in thinking we were going to get some Greek food. Nope Dickey's BBQ had moved in. The owner was proud to share with us newbies that they were based out of Dallas, TX and had been in the Cool Springs/Brentwood area for 9 months and yet to have people walk out disappointed. So it made me look really hard to try to find some errors. Though a chain in some parts of the States, Dickey's is a franchise and owned by locals! Order of brisket plate, a brisket burger and 3 sides between my buddy and I. Green beans, mashed potatoes and fried okra. The brisket had a great tender taste, not dry like some TX bbq. It had spices that gave a kick in your mouth but not too spicy. I actually love green beans and they put meat in it and seasoned. Some places just boil beans and no seasoning. Well Dickey's knows how to do it. From sides to a nice full menu. You can't go wrong. Yes they cater and next time I'm in gonna try the ribs! Clean place and friendly staff. Their sweet tea is brewed fresh and mixed perfect. OH and as was about to leave, FREE ICE CREAM CONES complimentary!!! BOOM. Too bad I don't eat sweets anymore. But that's a plus for any age!

Maniac’s

Brentwood, 37027
Reviews:
My wife and I ate at Maniacs last night. We had the fried chicken tenders, the broiled chicken tenders and a side of chicken wings. The fried chicken tenders are very good, but they're very different from the normal fried chicken tenders. These have a very heavy breading and the texture of a funnel cake. If you don't like heavy breaded tenders or funnel cakes, don't try these. The broiled are also very good and moist. My wife mentioned that they were the best she has ever eaten. The wings were not our favorite. They weren't seasoned very well and the smoke flavor was too strong. We sampled most of their sauces and they were all very delicious. All in all we really enjoyed our meal at Maniacs.
The best chicken fingers I've ever had. They fry them in a batter that's similar to that used in a funnel cake! I know that sounds strange, but it's magical. Not sweet at all, just crispy, light, and keeps the chicken super juicy. The fries are heavenly. I'd suggest doing double fries rather than coleslaw. There are multiple sauces, but I'd stick with the ranch and super spicy one (I cant remember the name of it). The semi spicy one wasn't spicy at all and was waaaay too sweet from the molasses they use. Also steer clear from the lemon oil type sauce....all I tasted was olive oil. Those are my only criticisms! If I lived in the area I'd come here way too often, so often that they'd know my name and probably name a sauce in honor of me for my patronage. Go now and try it!!!!
With all the rave reviews I was expecting a little better. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender basket. The portions were very generous and the chicken was tender and juicy - the breading was very much like tempura which was odd to me. I will go back to try the grilled tenders or the wings since the chicken was so juicy and tender. I had the honey mustard sauce and the mustard sauce with horseradish and both were very good. My 3 piece chicken basket came in under $7 so it was a bargain - especially considering the portion size.

SOOOOO incredibly awesome in every way. I came here ALL throughout my high school years. The Happy Hour deals are awesome, the food is delicious, and the service always comes out with a smile. Even though I live in Boston now where there is no Sonic I still frequently dream of this place. I still come back to TN a lot and this is literally my first stop. When being picked up at the airport I demand to either be given a watermelon cream slush before I step foot in the car or at least be immediately taken here. What more can I say? I'd recommend basically everything on the menu!
This Sonic is almost always busy but also well-staffed to accommodate the large volume of customers. The employees are friendly and our order always comes out quickly and accurate.
Super fast and they always get my order right. Depending on the day, we get the really funny girl that takes our order. Also, the nerd slushes are the best new addition to the menu!

Greek Cafe is my go to place for a quick, tasty, and as-healthy-as-I-want-it-to-be lunch. I always get the falafel platter and my friend always gets the chicken. All the ingredients are fresh and flavorful. I didn't know that you could sub hummus and pita for rice in the combo so now I'll probably go more often. The staff is quick and focused on getting you your food but they're still very polite and nice. Another reviewer said their fries were gross, and I disagree. They're a standard crinkle fry with season salt-- as good as it gets to me. However, if you're like my friends-- you are probably making fun of me for ordering french fries at a Greek Cafe. To each her own!
The food is consistent and speedy. Great place for lunch. It's quite popular so can be "cozy" in the small location. They have outdoors seating for beautiful days. Cash 5% discount! They allow you to sub hummus and pita for rice in your combo!
Their gyro is decent , my fiancé had their falafel , that was also decent , nothing crazy about their food. Their fries suck big time! Also , I'm used to diesel sized gyros from New York , these guys kinda disappointed me with the size of their gyro , I mean it's a good portion but , me personally I'm used to a bigger heartier tastier lol. Would I go back? Nope! On a side note , follow me for raw pure 100% reviews ;)
