I love Chipotle but the one in Brentwood TN has the worst service ever. The employees seem bothered that they have to help you. I'll drive to Green Hills from now on even though I live in Brentwood. Customer service is still important. @chipotle

The food was good and the service was friendly. I can't give it five stars because the place badly needed to be swept and the water is broken. To their credit it was after the Sunday lunch crowd and an employee came out and started sweeping up. When I asked about the water they said you have to push the lever a certain way. I had an employee fill up my cup with water but I feel this lever should be repaired. The good news is the food was delicious like at other chipotles and the employees are friendly.

I came in today and was less than satisfied with my experience. The lady who was working on the line gave me some serious attitude. When I asked for a manager, she then proceeded to tell me he was busy. That wasn't even the worst part of my experience.....my portions were about half of what they should normally be. Not only will I probably never be back to this Brentwood location, I will make sure to tell everybody about my experience.

I don't care that this is a corporate "fast-food" joint. I don't. I don't! I DON'T!!! I LOVE coming here any chance that I can get for a quick meal. Did you know that t hey use mostly organic ingredients and they establish themselves with local farmers to get some local ingredients. They cater to pretty much any need that you have and at the price you just can't beat it! The bowl with barbacoa, black beans, brown cilantro-lime rice, fajita veggies, mild salsa(pico de gallo), and corn salsa, topped with lettuce. Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is just writing this. Welp, please excuse me, I have to run and get some lunch now........

I would say this was one of the diss appointing times I've been to Chipotle. The food is just as good? But someone needs to come in train these people about customer service. Not to mention the place was fairly dirty. Yuck and rude!

I like Chipotle. I have started to order the bowls versus the burritos. The staff here is kind and knowledgable. My best advice to you is just watch your additions or you'll end up with a 15.00 burrito bowl haha

I usually drop by here after a workout at Maryland Farms YMCA. It's your typical Chipotle. Service is Alway great and food is Always fresh. Also they are not stingy with the meat like some other chipotles. Not to sound like a meathead but nothing is worse than getting a half ass scoop of meat at Chipotle.

Chipotle food and service is always delicious and fast and that is true of this location, but this store has the WORST layout EVER. Seating is very limited. The door to eat on the patio is right in the way of the line. There is this stupid "x" seating area which just is wasted space. There are no seated bars along the windows. Piss poor design. Came here during lunch and the whole time was thinking "wtf".

The great thing about Chitpotle is that it is consistent since it is a franchise. This location is next door to Sweet CeCe's so you can have your burrito and then go next door for dessert. I usually get the bowl with Sofritas which is vegan. They have a meal for everyone since they have chicken, beef, tofu (sofritas), and veggies. The guacamole always tastes fresh. The service here is on par for what is expected at a somewhat fast food restaurant. It gets very crowded at this location so I usually take my order to go. Overall, it is good, and I visit when I am in the mood for Sofritas.

A simple burrito becomes an unpleasant and insulting experience...? Really?! Got to the cash register and thought the "gentleman" was telling me my burrito was $17 (instead of $7.19). When I paused for a moment, thinking perhaps it was confused with a different order, he literally yelled the price at me. Twice. I was so taken aback that I didn't respond quickly enough, so he yelled some more. I asked for the manager, and he says- no, actually, he shouted- that he WAS the manager. I will be contacting Chipotle's ownership because customers, and human beings, shouldn't be treated like that, especially without provocation. This instance was particularly egregious, but it's not the first time I've noticed some impatience behind the counter at this Chipotle location. Maybe they just don't like old folks like me there, guess we're not cool enough. When I got home I happened to glance at the receipt, and there at the top of it was the marketing tag line, "Chipotle- Gourmet Without Attitude." Needless to say, I found that hilariously ironic. Won't be back. (Burrito wasn't anything special, either. Not much chicken, as usual.)

Although the wait sure took awhile; To receive our burritos with meat in a pile; Our stomachs did envelope; The creations they developed; Now we're cruising the miracle mile

The staff here is very nice and accommodating, but I've had trouble multiple times with to go orders - so be sure to double check your food. One time they gave me the wrong person's meal, and the following time they forgot to give me chips when I paid for chips and guac a real disappointment when you're starving and drive home 20 minutes to find out you didn't get what you paid for.

A solid fast food / college-student level food fare that serves the best cheap burrito in town. Please note that I said "best cheap" burrito. Because this is not nearly as good as several of the local restaurants in the city like Rosepepper, SATCO, and a few others. But, if you're looking for quick, you're looking for easy, and you're not looking for a hooker... I mean, uh, nevermind... yeah, Chipotle is a nice staple from the college days. And I'm lovin' that they've opened several spots around Nashville from Brentwood to the Vanderbilt area. Great to grab on the go.

It's really just another chain burrito place. The food is good. The steak is made medium rare. The store is very small. I'd go to Qdoba instead just for the Queso.

Okay food, but extremely dirty!! Always ask employees to wipe down tables and booths!

Stopped in today for the first time. I normal don't eat meat dishes at resturants because you never know what the heck is in it. Since they have their meat standards posted I was confortable enjoying the barbacoa crunchy tacos for lunch. The serving came with 3 tacos that were well portioned. They don't load on the meat but they also don't overdo any of the "fillers". Lots of places are pretty stingy with guacamole, but the server put a descent amount on each taco. The barbacoa was juicy and just salty enough. A friend got a burrito and it was very very big. Would stop in again for a quick lunch

I've got a coworker that eats at Chipotle every single day. He''s gone there everyday for lunch for the last year and that's always intrigued me. It must be good if someone eats it everyday right? Well, yes and no... Chipotle is not unlike any of the other burrito counter service joints. You walk up to the counter, tell them what type of dish you'd like (tacos, burrito, salad, bowl, etc) and then you proceed down the line to tell them the ingredients. It's a pretty successful business model and one that's used in at least 3 other burrito places that I know of. In other words, Chipotle is not special and really isn't doing anything any better than others with the same model. The food is decent and the service is exactly what you'd expect form a fast food joint like this. Where they fail is on price and meal deals. Some of the other similar burrito places offer a free salsa bar and chips are included with your meal. This is a standard at most Mexican restaurants. For some reason, Chipotle thinks they are special and charges extra for chips and even more for salsa. Yet, the price for just your main entree item is the same as what other places charge for the entree, chips, and salsa. Like I said, the food is decent, but the prices stink. For that reason, I choose to take my business elsewhere. The dining area is nice with contemporary styling and it was very clean, so that's a plus. With so many other options that offer lower prices, equal food quality, and free salsa; I just can't justify another visit.

I Like: - Their barbacoa beef. It's like a beef roast, just falling apart and full of flavor. - The freshness of their ingredients. - The slight lime-flavor to their rice. I Don't Like: - The fact that chips are extra. - At THIS LOCATION, there is not a lot of seating. - It's just a touch pricey, at least compared to Moe's, Chili Burrito, and others. Okay, so it's a bit more expensive than Moe's and the other "deluxe burrito fast/casual" chains. It's also just a bit tastier.

Despite the fact that you can find a chipotle on nearly every other street corner nowadays, I absolutely love the burrito bowls here. The rice is delicious and has a bit of a kick to it, but a tasteful zing. The chicken tastes so much fresher than any other chicken I've had at similar burrito places. Four stars for no queso and limited add-on selection.

Ask for a scoop of both black beans and pinto beans! Once your bowl is complete, grab the smoked chipotle Tabasco from the condiment bar and add a couple shakes! Final step... Grub down! I LOVE Chipotle! My favorite thing to get is a burrito bowl... brown rice, black and pinto beans, steak, hot salsa, sour cream, and cheese! Beware- if you are sensitive to spicy foods, you won't want the hot salsa (it's the red one that is smooth and blended)! I LOVE IT as I love love love spicy foods! Though my stomach doesn't always appreciate the torture :-( They have an assembly-line type setup where you go down the line and tell them what you would like (think subway for burritos). The steak at this location was WAY overcooked. I was tough like jerky. Most of the locations I have been to cook the steak to a nice medium rare. And... you can always ask for extra scoops of anything while you are going down the line. PILE IT HIGH and you'll have lunch for tomorrow! The only ingredient that they charge for extra scoops is the meat (and they also charge for guac). Sometimes you get employees who are suuuuper stingy about giving you extra scoops of anything. That was the case at this location. My husband always asks for extra rice, and the employee was getting annoyed with him. Then... as we were eating, someone started cleaning the grill. It was making this god-awful screeching noise like nails on a chalkboard. The other family in the restaurant had the same expression as we did. It was just so inconsiderate and made for a bad dining experience. I am always the first to say something, so I went and asked him if he could do that after people had left. His response was that he had to close the store. It was not even 9:30pm, and they close at 10pm! So he turned around and continued. The rest of the employees just laughed. It seems to me that they need some training in good customer service practices. :-( It is so true that the quality of customer service can really make or break a dining experience.

My personal favorite for a burrito, because their burrito bowls are the best. A regular burrito with guac will stuff any person. I like that they offer brown rice. seating is irregular in here, but they have cool speakers. Can't say I'm the biggest fan of their house music though. I like to walk over to starbucks and eat over there outside.

My favorite thing about Chipotle is their rice. But somehow when I came here the flavor was different, kind of dry, not as limey. I am a fan of Chipotle the restaurant, but this location wasn't that impressive. It is a smaller location and the parking lot is small as well. Seating is limited so I do not recommend this location for large groups. Over all, it was clean and their service was fast and friendly. I just don't like feeling cramped and rushed while I eat (although my time reference was Sunday lunch right after church). It was really busy while I was there so they seemed to get good business...just won't be getting mine on a regular basis!

Chipotle is great. They are way more popular in other areas of the country. I would eat there once a week in Ohio. People seem to like other places better here simply because they knew them prior to Chipotle. It is addictive.

I love Chipotle (see my other location review - it's the same for this one). This location shares a parking lot with Sweet CeCe's and Starbucks so it can be hard to find a parking spot at times.

A solid burrito spot. This one is new and is even more hip then the older locations. IMHO there is a better burrito 200 yards away at the chile burrito. Way more options (meat & stuffings) and a lot less stainless steel and loud techno

My family and I eat at this Chipotle at least once a week with a good chance that I could hit it more than that. The employees seem to be slowly changing but they are friendly and fast. The food is always fresh and prepared competently. The staff keeps the place clean even during busy nights. This is our favorite Chipotle in the Nashville area especially with Sweet Cece's next door.

It's purely sustenance. No more no less. Ok well the barbacoa is pretty damn good. Otherwise its like going to Subway. It's food you are eating that you wish you were eating from somewhere else.

I have been a avid Chipotle lover for many years now! Ever since I moved to Franklin, Tennessee from the San Francisco Bay Area, California I have missed getting my steak burrito at least once a week... I was not aware for the longest time that a Nashville location had opened just a year or so ago. Even after I found out, that is just to far for me to drive to get my craving fix! I needed one near my home! To my surprise and excitement I saw that a Chipotle location was opening in Brentwood (NOW OPEN!). This location is wonderful! Near all the wonderful Brentwood shopping! The location is right next the the REI, and Starbucks! You must get here ASAP! If you have never had Chipotle, you need to get with it! Everything they offer is great! I love the steak burrito, with black beans, rice, lettuce, cheese, guacamole, mild brown sauce, and the corn salsa, and the tomato salsa!!! This is one huge burrito! Great prices as well! Overall, I LOVE Chipotle!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
