Good amount of chicken in the General Tso. It had decent flavor, acutally, not too strong, but not too weak. The rice that came with my order was plain white, and came in a pint container. The chicken came with carrots and brocolli. It also included onions and green peppers.

Great Chinese take out. I would recomend the shrimp rolls.

Not really very good, not horrible. Appears to have no connection to the Mulans ( Germantown, midtown ) that are so good. Not sure if there is anything better in its part of town but I would drive a bit for something else. That said the owner was nice and the food came out quickly. Giving three stars but would really say 2.5

Mulans been here for quite some time, and i feel like nobody appreciates it or just orders incorrectly. First off their General Tso's Chicken is the best in Memphis. Believe me, I've tried everywhere else. Not to mention the noodles and rice are top tier you can even see them make it while you wait. Though it's more of a carry out restaurant there's two booths that could maybe fit four each. Moreover Mulan has a nice aroma, Great food, and seriously one of the cutest Chinese girl I've ever seen. She was wearing a cat shirt, with a skirt, and heels. SERIOUSLY HEELS. I'll do a follow up review after I've married her and joined the family.

Average food at best. The only reason to order from this place is because they are one of the few places that delivers in 38135 that isn't pizza. The ingredients are not the freshest when it comes to the vegetables. The meats are ok and the sauces taste as flavorless as any thing out of a can from your local grocery store. Not to mention they are way overpriced. Every order is about $25-30 to feed two. If I had another delivery option I would probably seize it. That being said they do deliver very quickly and the delivery guys are very nice. If this place would use better ingredients and less bland sauces, they would easily gain a few more stars.

This was my first time trying Mulan after driving past it many times. I can't even eat this food right now due to the fact that I found a bug just chilling in my to-go box. My fiancé and I are thoroughly disgusted. I won't be eating here ever again and would not recommend this place. The owners seem nice; however, something needs to be done to make sure that this never happens to anyone else.

Absolutely love this place. Best Chinese in Memphis. Not a place to dine in though. Just order and pick up kind of place. Their dinner specials are such a great deal and one meal is enough for a gilt of 4! Highly recommend.

We only order Mulan because they deliver. Otherwise, we would choose other places. It's not that Mulan is BAD, but they aren't the best either. They are, however, high priced for what you get. It's nothing for me, my husband and daughter to eat for atleast $50. There are a lot of other places that are better and cheaper. With that being said, the food is average. The crab wonton are great.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
