Food matches price. I ordered the the sirloin and "grilled" shrimp. The sirloin was a small nugget of meat tough and fatty. The shrimp looked pan fried and over cooked, tuff and chewy. The salad bar and dessert bar are nothing exciting . A good wast of $15 and an hour of my time... Never coming again

I hadn't been to a Bonanza or Ponderosa in over 15 years so I had to try. I'm giving 3 stars because of the salad bar, which was delicious! Plentiful toppings, various dressings. Also containted cold salads (pea, potatoe, etc.) and have 2 soups. They also have build-your-own taco station which I didn't eat but it looked nice. I had a ribeye, which I think was supposed to be 10 oz. but it was pretty thin. The thing with thin steaks is it's very difficult to get a "medium" without going closer to well. The server asked me to cut into it and check, which I appreciated. I could tell it was too done but I wasn't gonna make a big deal out of it because afterall, Bonanza is budget steak experience and I knew what I was getting into. The steak actually had great flavor. The fried shrip was a huge disappointment. My gf's chicken was pretty small but overall, for $30 it wasn't a bad little meal. I'd recommend if your really hungry, enjoy salad and are not overly picky about your meat.
