I love there white queso here. When I come here or to the diff locations around s dakota I always get the queso and eat the chips and salsa there and get my actual meal in a box. Chip and salsa togo aren't free but I can eat them there. I actually think my favorite thing here to eat is the chips queso and salsa. Even tho it's not a actual meal. :) staff is friendly @ this location. I had good service.

Great food! It's so hard to find good Mexican food in this area! This place is great! Friendly staff. Quick service. Clean. I love the decor. I grew up in a town with access to authentic Mexican food, so i'm pretty spoiled. Having said that, the definition of Mexican food around here is "tex mex ", this place is NOT tex mex. It's as close to authentic your going to get here. If you want a great meal, check it out!

Service was good. Queso was good and jalapeños had a kick. Margaritas were good. Salsa was like weak ketchup with chunks of onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. Ground beef in tacos and enchiladas reminded me of Taco Bell. There is a New Mexican restaurant about a mile from this one on hwy 212 (9th ave) that was better.

Meh, mediocre. The statement of most authentic in town may be true just because there isn't anything else. Food was a little bland and greasy. Also, I've never been to a place with spicy retried beans before. Not that I'm saying they were bad, just not what I expected. Better than a chain for sure. The salsa that came with the chips had a pretty good flavor.

All things considered I am giving this place 2 of 5. I would definitely not call it "authentic" Mexican or even very good tex mex but the quality of food is good even though the salsa doesn't taste like salsa at all and the menu is limited and a bit pricey. Very interested restaurant but next time I want Mexican I believe I will go elsewhere.

I'm so disappointed that I didn't try this place until 2011. I have eaten here twice and I haven't been disappointed! I grew up just over the border and I was in Watertown a lot growing up but we never tried this place. Wow, we should've tried it a long time ago. I think it is quality Mexican food and really the only option for the area if you want something closer to authentic than Taco John's. I remember a lot of people thinking Senor Max's was good Mexican food for the area. NO WAY! Head to Guadalajara instead! They have a wide variety and accomodate people that aren't interested in Mexican food to vegetarians. They have a nice selection for everyone. The service was prompt and friendly both times. The chips and salsa are good. The restaurant itself is colorful and bright.

After living in SoCal for over forty years, when on the road, I gotta have some good Mexican food every now and then. Fortunately, for me, this place was pretty good. A bit pricey, but still, not bad.

I always enjoy the food here. The authentic dishes keep lots of my friends coming back, as well as myself!
