I've been coming to Perkins in Watertown for many years and the food has stayed consistent and GREAT. The waitresses and waiters are always very nice and professional. The atmosphere is very brunch casual style. It's quiet and a relaxing place to eat. Ashley is the manager & Also My Friend, She keeps everything smooth flowing and everyone happy. She is the best manager in a restaurant in this town. She is also my friend so on a personal stand point she is always nice, so she IS NOT putting a show on for work...VERY PROFESSIONAL. and QUITE A GOOD PLACE TO EAT.

A hidden gem! Their Garlic Burger was outstanding!---a flavorful patty between soft, fluffy, savory garlic buns with a fresh salad all for $10. Before heading back out, grab one of their Sticky Buns. It will not disappoint and you will regret it if you leave without one.
What a treat! When on a long road trip you crave home cooking, that's exactly what we got. The owner was closing up for the day, but served us anyway. We had the Cuban sandwich with a cup of New England clam chowder and the Chicago style beef with a cup of roasted red pepper soup. Both were excellent and gave us the extra energy to finish the last 200 miles of our trip. If you have the chance stop in!
Good to Go Catering has quickly become my favorite place to eat in all of Watertown! Not only is all of their food made from scratch it is absolutely delicious! From their tasty soups, to their drool worthy sandwiches, Good to Go Catering truly stands out. My favorite thing I've tried (so far) is the Turkey Burger with a fresh made spinach bun. There is an adorable enclosed back patio if you want to enjoy some beautiful weather. On top everything else, the owners and staff are wonderful! I would eat here every day if I could. So happy I found this place :) -Cali mail girl aka Steph.

So I had a little trouble finding the place (my GPS couldn't locate it, but it is next to Sherwin Williams, so I looked that up instead), but I am glad that I did. I travel a lot for work and I am always looking for a good local restaurant to visit on my trips, and Off The Clock definitely falls into this category. The menu was not overly extensive, but it had all the basics (steak, shrimp, chicken, burgers, salad, a few appetizers). Since I like to try regional dishes when I travel, I decided to go for the one thing of the menu that I did not recognize, an appetizer called chislic (deep fried steak pieces?), and the chef was kind enough to make this into an entree for me. For sides I had carrots, mashed potatoes, and the soup of the day (something with rice and red meat...it was good). Oh and I also had the pineapple upside down cake, which was also delicious. Service was friendly and prompt, and prices were reasonable. I would eat here again, and I don't think you will be disappointed if you stop in. I didn't see a lot of options for food in this town, and this was way better than eating at Walmart or Applebees.

First off, thus place is great for groups, families, kids, adults, and any other combination you can think of. Pizza Ranch it's a beautiful pizza/chicken buffet. They have great pizza crust that is crispy yet fluffy and toppings that are diverse enough to give any pallet that delicious feeling we are all in search of. They also offer a great salad bar, I don't eat salad but my wife does, and have the best desert pizza, called cactus bread, known to man. Four stars instead of five because this pizza ranch doesn't have ice cream and doesn't make their cactus bread up to par with those in Iowa.

Really good place! Only negative is when we walked in, we weren't greeted right away, so we just sat at a table, people that walked in right behind us were greeted instantly and taken to a table. Other than that, good food! We had cheese balls for appetizer. French onion soup..really good! And we had prime rib. We even splurged on desert. Everything was delicious. Food was brought out promptly. Server was attentive. Great place to have date night dinner! We'll be back!
Husband craves the ribs every time we come here. Which you can only order on Thursday nights. I would love to try the prime rib but usually we just end up there for rib night and I never get a chance. I do order the cajun seafood pasta which I do really like, I have had it twice now and although I do not go back because I crave it, I order it each time and like it a lot. The salad bar is basic and small but lets face it, its a salad, is that why you are here? The wine selection isn't stellar, no sauvignon blanc even, but for the price and quality of food its worth not getting a great glass of wine. So we have been here 3 times so far on three different trips, and we keep coming back.
Family went out to eat here last night. Service was good. Prime Rib was great. Hostess checked with us twice to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend 2nd St Station. Will definitely eat here again

I got a steak here one night. It was good it comes with the salad bar so I really had a steak salad. The beef soup on the salad bar was better then most places also. I think they put steak in the soup. They have a good salad bar also. Except for that pickled fish on the salad bar. I try things sometimes-usually before I put them on my plate if I don't know what they are, or if I haven't been to that location before so I don't know if it's good. apparently alot of people requested it on the salad bar, but I had one chew and let it fall out of my mouth. Gave me gross chills, chewy slimy, way to fishy tasting. picked fish? ewwww.. if I can't eat it... thats not a good sign, but I guess some people in this area like it, but I deff do not like it! I can eat real raw fish, sushi everyday of my life and be happy. but sushi doesn't really taste like raw fish or what u would think raw fish taste like.
Clifford's Steak & Ale Is Now Connected To The Guest House. The Steak There Is AMAZING! My Mom & I Went There To Celebrate Our Birthdays, My Mom Ordered The Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon & Tempura Shrimp. I Tasted The Steak & Shrimp. The Steak Was So Tender, And The Shrimp Was By Far The Best Seafood In Town. I Had The 12oz. Rib Eye Steak. That Steak Was By Far THE BEST STEAK IN TOWN... IF NOT IN ALL OF South Dakota. All Meals Start With Soup Or Salad. We Both Had The Salad. It Was A Good Salad. The Ranch Dressing Is The Best Ranch I Have Ever Tasted. Then Your Meal Comes With Your Steak, Rins, Seafood (whatever you ordered). Also Comes With Choice Of Baked, Garlic Mashed, Or Fries As A Potato. And A Cup Of Succulent Ju. It Was Not Only The Best Food In Town. But Our Server Was Fantastic!!! Thank You Clifford's Steak & Ale For Becoming Our Go To Restaurant In Town. Such An Amazing Meal!!!!

It's always tough for me to eat out because of my dietary concerns. Though Minerva's doesn't have a gluten-free menu, as soon as I asked for one the staff was very willing to modify the menu to suit my needs. The hostess told our waiter about my concerns and he tried hard to give me info on what was most safe to eat. I ordered a burger without the bun, and they answered all my questions about the toppings. I didn't want potatoes so they gave me asparagus instead. The food was really good - the best yet that I've had on this road trip I'm taking across the U.S. My dad loved his burger too and keeps talking about it. If we were staying Watertown another night we would go back again for dinner. My only complaint is that they didn't ask me how I wanted my burger. I prefer medium rare to medium, but despite that the meat was good and still tender, so it was still very delicious! Thanks, everyone!
Have had brunch there twice now and both times left a lot to be desired. While the brunch menu could be something great, the buffet area was sloppy and the food was not even warm. I can get a better breakfast elsewhere for half the price. Minerva's brunch used to be the talk of the town, but I'm afraid that they are now past their prime.
Delightfully delicious dinner. We had the Oktoberfest pork chops with sauerkraut and a raisin sauce. Perfectly cooked, expertly seasoned. Sauerkraut was a bit salty. Mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts served on the side. Both were very tasty. The crème brulee dessert was creamy and delicious. It was served with fresh berries. Breakfast was also good. The pancakes are unexpectedly large. The oatmeal was delicious. Service at both meals was attentive and very friendly. We would eat here again the next time we come to Watertown.

Dempsey’s Brewery Restaurant & Pub

Was in town on biz and Dempsey's was picked as a meeting place for dinner by local friends. I got there early and had the Black Bear Stout. Not thick like a Guinness but good nonetheless. I had two. Once we sat down, it was a struggle to get waited on, but one we did the service was excellent. We ordered two pizzas to share and they were very good. This place is nothing like the review Cody gave it (see below). He must have a vendetta with someone. I'll be back.
We had a nice lunch, everything was just ok. I had the brimstone burger which was good, a nice spice to it, the waffle fries were pretty good. I added the house made bacon and that was a good choice. The beer is not good, makes me wonder what kind of water filtration they are using, there is an off taste that I picked up in my table water as well. The house made root beer was really good.
Outstanding pizza. Great wings. Good service. Good prices. Great pub atmosphere. Family friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Great atmosphere, great food. Eclectic old Opera House with funky art on the walls and great mix of music. Swordfish tacos are awesome, mussels and porquitos are great too.
What a pleasant surprise. We started with a seafood chowder which was excellent . My husband had a grilled swordfish with a cilantro lemon avocado sauce and I had a blackened salmon with a pineapple salsa. Both entrees were excellent and the service was very good.
Super friendly staff!! Another plus - a very good wine selection. I heard from someone there they also have great soups as well. I have been here now for dinner and lunch. The dinner I had was just grilled shrimp. It was good, I didn't order anything special so I cant say it was anything I would go back for because I was craving it. But that was more because of my ordering than the food I think. For lunch I just ordered the crab dip and bread. It was not a typical crab dip, I am more used to ooey gooey, garlicky and creamy. This was more crab with some red peppers and artichokes I believe, a bit dryer than the creamy kind but it was loaded with crab and had cheese baked over the top. It was unique and like I said, loaded with crab meat, lots of crab meat. If you like crab this is the way to go, but typically I am more about the stuff housing the crab than the crab, just because I am a junkie for ooey gooey and creamy. The bread was garlicky and very good as well. I would go back here, but I am not sure I have found my "go to" item on the menu, I am still searching.
