Great food and great service- highly recommend. Bumbleberry pie was exceptional, as was breakfast selection and quality

This restaurant was like a Denny's but worse. The service was lackluster, the steak was overdone, and what they call gravy was some gelatinous brown salty substance. The salad bar was scary with carrots that had already turned white! The fries were good. All u wanted was a good steak up in beef country, and I couldn't find one!

The poor coffee foreshadowed what was to come. The burger and Reuben were small and OK at best. Not worth the price.

Awful. The buffalo burger was a dry hockey puck. No beer on the menu. Wish I hadn't come.

We almost passed this place up due to the earlier reviews. But we were hungry and ready to eat and get back on the road. Out of 6 in our party, all 6 of us liked our meal. Service was good and fast. The restaurant also ha clean bathrooms.

I give stars based on what the place is, not compared to other places that are different to the place I am reviewing. For a place that serves basic food - stick to your ribs stuff, Millstone gets five stars. Service is friendly; food is good, but not fancy high cuisine, but as I said that is not what this place is. Salmon Fume Eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise would be great but I would need to go to elsewhere for that. Enjoy this place for what it is.

This was a perfect place to stop off I-90 when it is storming. They are open good hours and have excellent food. I ordered the ribs on Saturday night and could not have gotten better! The meat fell off the bone and the sweet potato needed nothing extra. They have a nice salad bar selection and the staff are friendly and quick.

Good classic breakfast: skillets, omelets, pancakes. Nothing really special though. Not many vegi options for omelets and disappointingly the mushrooms came out of the can. The staff was extremely nice. Over all it was okay.

Quite disappointed all around. There were 7 entrees in my group and all of the meals were fairly subpar in one way or another. The sandwiches were either portioned small or just bland tasting (a french dip in particular was quite dry). The burgers were small. The chicken fried steak had very thick gravy that was a bit disgusting, and it was accompanied by peas and mediocre tasting mashed potatoes. The one pleased customer in my group was the person who had spaghetti and meatballs. They did have a soup and salad bar. The soup was very mediocre- they offered a gumbo that tasted very much like chili. For the cost (~$10 a person, not including drinks), it was not very good value. Would not go back and do not recommend.

Average food, average service. The best thing it has going for it is that it is the only 24 hour restaurant in Spearfish. If it's 2AM and you're looking for a post drinking binge meal, this the only place in town.

OK this place is a complete oxymoron. It's senior citizen place during the day with everyone over the age of 60 eating here till about 8pm. Then it dies out till the bars let out at 2am. Because it's the only place open 24 hours within 100 miles its fills to the brim with drunks at this time. As far as the food goes it's mediocre at best. Cheap so the seniors like it and greasy so perfect for the intoxicated crowd. I guess its ok for breakfast if you looking for the standard fair and want it at a low price.

We stopped by on our way to So. Dakota from California as part of a bus tour. The salad bar was decent but the entrees were limited. I ordered the hot turkey sandwich, the bread was doughy and the gravy a little too salty.

gave it a second chance and it definitely has improved and if I could give it another 1/2 star I would
