I had heard about their "famous" fried rice. It was disgusting! I could only eat about five bites. I had never had slimy tomatoes in fried rice before. If you are in Tigerville and starving, you'd be better off going to the Dollar General!

Not much Thai here. Sampled a friend's plate of stir fry and it was decent. Rest of fare is simple diner. I got the chicken philly. Pretty sure the onion rings and tater tots were frozen, not fresh. Fair overall but nothing to rave about or crave. This place, however, is a staple among local college students.

Good basic fare when you are in the middle of nowhere.

Well it's a hamburger joint that serves Chinese food. Nuff said.

This is 'NO' Thai cuisine. It is awful. Wonder how they can stay in business is Beyond my comprehension . If some Thais would buy this place and spruce it up with good authentic Thai dishes , it can be a gold mine. With college students around and word of mouth it will fly. It can be a hole in the wall with clean facility and reasonable priced dishes I assure this will be a gem for diners around this area. Any takers??????

Authentic Thai fried rice, huge portion size and the best egg rolls I've ever had! Hard to decide between cheeseburgers and fried rice - I'd get both!

Some places are really famous for a signature dish. The strategy is to serve up a big headliner that draws the crowds and ignites that spark of differentiation and competitive advantage necessary to survive the restaurant scene, which is one of the most tumultuous industries in the US economy. Signature dishes make average restaurants into thriving destinations for the appetites of the local community. As it turns out, signature dishes also help dumpy restaurants get a 3-star review instead of a 1-star, as evidenced by Thai and I. You're asking yourself two questions right now, and the answers are both 'yes' - the restaurant really does exude a 1-star-caliber vibe, and the signature fried rice plates really are a 5-star-caliber value. Amazing dichotomy, really. As soon as you catch a glimpse of the old building sharing bricks with the run-down Tigerville post office, you think 'meh.' As soon as you open the doors to the dated, dingy burger parlor, you think 'bleh.' As soon as you sit around observing your surroundings and waiting (a good while) for your food to arrive, you think 'geez, this place is dirty lookin.' Hopefully you won't need to walk around the dirt parking lot to the bathroom stalls around back, 'cause you might not wanna walk back through the doors again... BUT, just when your apprehension-induced spike in blood pressure becomes noticeable, one of the pleasant waitstaff gals will drop a HEAP of steaming, gleaming fried rice on the table, and your cares will melt away like soy sauce on sautéed chicken. Yep, fried rice at a burger joint - and that is GOOD fried rice, baby. I like ordering extra veggies with my chicken or shrimp just because they're so tasty. They'll give you a bowl of lime wedges to squeeze over it as well, which you must do, for the love of all things sacred. Unless you play football for North Greenville, you'll probably do just fine ordering a small plate, too. It's a BIG portion with BIG flavor, and it's a BIG, random oddball to find a knockout Asian dish on the menu at the greasiest burger counter in the Upstate. But it's here, it's real, and it makes Thai and I worth a trip just to say you did it. Don't be put off by all the things that will put you off - stick with Thai and I 'til you can savor that payoff plate of delicious rice!

The food gets 5 stars. It's the best fried rice anywhere. Always has been. If they would simply clean, decorate, and paint the place, it would be a gem. It's a locals place for sure but contrary to an other review, no college students go here. Were it mine, the staff would be cleaning instead of whatever else it is they do between meal times. I will keep going though as long as they keep fixing that excellent fried rice.
