Not bad for a quick lunch! The service was great and food came out fast. The food was served piping hot!!! I asked the person taking my order what he recommended. He said either the Philly or the chili cheese burger. He then said a lot of people order the Philly; so I ordered the Philly Plate with onion rings and a drink. The bill came up a little over 11$ after tax. This is why its just three stars. Lunch, at a place like this, should be under ten dollars, out the door, and with a drink. The Philly was good. The cheese was plenty melted and there was a good selection of onions and peppers. The bread was toasty and complemented the sandwich well. A problem I had with the food was the onion rings. I did not anticipate them being hand breaded, in house; but I expected reasonably good onion rings with my sandwich. These were definitely made in some big generic factory, then frozen, fried and thrown on my plate. Normally this is ok, but for the price and that the actual onion rings were lacking in all aspects, this meal suffered. The onion rings to me felt like they were the cheapest ones a restaurant could source. The breading was super thin and extra dry. They also have no sauce to serve with them, so your stuck with ketchup. If you serve onion rings I think it should be MANDATED that you serve some type of dipping sauce, preferably one with a little horseradish in it. All in all it was good but just did not meet my expectations when came to price.
