This place is fabulous! A little off the beaten path, and unassuming appearance, but definitely stop in. Food is delicious and fresh, service is prompt and friendly. Beer list is pretty basic but well priced and they are currently advertising a $2 happy hour from 4pm - 6pm. We hAd the Greek salad and meaty pizza, highly recommend both.

Really good food. Haven't had anything that my family didn't like. They're a bit pricey, but the food is high quality. The place is small and there is limited parking, so that could be an issue if you're going on a Friday or Saturday night. FYI, watch the soft drink refills, they're not free.

My husband and I ate here! He got a pizza which was extremely good and I got a meatball sandwich and it was excellent! Definitely will be back again!

We ate here before a race I did in Georgetown (The Georgetown Bridge to Bridge half marathon). I actually found it on Yelp and it was a great find. The food is Italian food, and I had pasta and salad while my husband had pizza. Everyone was delicious and it was a great place to "carbo load" before the half marathon. Lots of runners were eating there. My husband really enjoyed it too, and it has a family touch. We'd definitely return if we're in the Georgetown area.

Service was extremely slow, but friendly. The wait seemed to have more to do with the kitchen than the waitstaff. They were very understaffed, & their employees seemed stressed. With that being said, everything is prepared to order, so it's nice not to have reheated, microwaved mess. The prosciutto pizza had a good flavor, & delicious crisp crust.

If you are anywhere near this little gem, I recommend you stop in. My husband, 4-year-old, and I stopped here en route to Charleston. We had sandwiches (chicken bacon ranch, Italian meatball & salami panini style). Everything was fresh and came out promptly (no heat lamp effect here). The sandwich bread was wonderful, good crunch on the outside. Fries were so yummy - thick handcut type, maybe fried in peanut oil? I upgraded to the Greek side salad and was not disappointed. Perfect dressing, fine feta, and real Kalamata olives (vs canned black olives). Even my son's grilled cheese was on the great bread. Server was really sweet and attentive, so kind to our son. Cute little place. It was like stopping by grandma's for a bite (if your grandma really knows how to whip up lunch!)

OMG! Had the best meatball "sub" there that I've had in all my 53 years! Not much to look at on the outside (and the inside is only slightly better), but don't let the appearance turn you off. Great food and people inside!

Once Triple D discovers this place you probably won't be able to get in. Until then, go and enjoy. Great burger with fresh-made bun on site every day with hand-cut fries. Pizza is superb. I had meat lovers. Good choice for me.

Amazing food each and every time I go. The meaty pizza with the fennel sausage is great. The sandwich called the good stuff is an amazing hot sandwich Don't even think about ordering the French fry appetizer. Helllllo gym.

The pizza here was pretty good- the crust wasn't thin but not too thick either. Everything is made fresh and you can tell. We ordered two takeout pizzas and a Caesar salad. Pizzas (prosciutto and pepperoni) were awesome, the salad wasn't great at all, but it didn't matter because the three of us were stuffed from the two pizzas! It's a small place but definitely worth checking out. I think they have live music and I noticed a little al fresco dining available on the patio.

One of the best pizzas I have had recently. Fresh ingredients (yummy, fresh arugula on special) and really well-made, fresh dough. They also have a little patio that is completely accommodating to travelers et al with dogs. Highly recommended (this place is just slightly off the main tourist drag but so worth a visit).

Went to dinner on a Friday night and the first thing that came to my mind when we pulled into the parking lot was the old saying "don't judge a book by it's cover". The cover of this book is tattered and worn... But once you get into the story( dinner) you will be hooked! The food was excellent. My wife ordered the Greek pizza and I ordered the 3 cheese calzone. Both were delicious. Fresh, house made dough and ingredients. Don't be afraid of the appearance from the outside because you will miss out on the great food that's waiting for you on the inside. When we are back in Georgetown we will definitely return for dinner.

Best place for home made Italian food. Friendly staff and owners. Good selection of beers and great calzones. Inside is small but I've always been able to get a table.

Great local place in Georgetown to grab some really good fresh food. All the bread is freshly baked and it features a good selection of Italian classics. Also the burgers are excellent. I highly recommend taking a visit to the Humble Crumb if you're ever rolling through Georgetown or even in the Myrtle Beach area.

We pulled into the parking lot and felt kind of doubtful from the outside but we were pleasingly surprised. The food was really good, staff was really friendly and the music was excellent.

Had a layover tonight and decided on here from previous reviews. Glad we did! 12inch pizza was perfect size for 3 non starving people. Staff was great on a busy Friday night too! Definitely recommend this small but tasty local spot!

I was in Georgetown for business and was looking for a place I could grab something to take back to my hotel to eat dinner while I worked. I came across Humble Crumb in the magazine in the hotel and decided to check it out. The place was a bit small, but felt cozy and not cramped. It was decently busy for a Tuesday, but my order was taken quickly and prepared quickly. All I ordered was a prosciutto pizza, which has a pesto base, mozzella and ricotta cheese, and of course prosciutto. It was quite good and pretty filling. I would say that for a 10" pizza, the price was maybe a bit high, but it was quite filling (and I eat a lot), and I would bet that a 10" pizza with a couple of salads would be good enough for most people. I'd go here again and try a calzone or something else off the menu. And, if this place was in Durham, NC, where I live, I might be a regular.

I really like this place. It's small, it's off the beaten path, it's good. Italian is their specialty, and I've not been disappointed with any entree. My son orders calzone--every time--I like the lasagna. Well worth the visit.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
