We were passing thru and saw this cute joint. Made a u-turn pulled in. Not a fancy place but nice. Wasn't crowed with plenty of parking. The server was excellent and friendly. The food was great and the price was reasonable. I had the buffet and she had the talipia. All went well. No complaints here.

If you're in Georgetown you have to stop here. If you're not in Georgetown you should go. Herb is doing it right! And, before you leave, don't forget to buy some of his homemade BBQ sauce. You won't regret it.
One of my top choices whenever I am in Georgetown. I haven't had anything yet that I didn't like. You can't go wrong with the BBQ.

Good food nice and clean place but a bit dis-jointed. Greeted by a man who handed us menus, served water in styrofoam cups (yuk). But then we had to walk to counter to order and also to pay when we done. Handed us bill without asking if we wanted anything else.
Fresh made delicious everything! This was one of those rare finds. A small, quaint and unpretentious place that serves up complete yumminess with a smile. They have cold beer too! I had crab ball fritters, which were rolled in spaghetti noodles and deep fried with a ginger soy sauce, home made slaw that included tomato and cucumber and fresh thin sliced fried potato chips. I also had a cup of asparagus n shrimp cream soup with some buttered and herbed saltines. My wife had a portobello n shrimp signature sandwich with black eyed pea salad. Yes tea and soda is served in Styrofoam cups as well as the soup. Yes the bill was headed our way before I asked for another beer. So what. It was a pleasurable experience. I will go there again and I will take friends and family. Nothing on the menu was typical. It was a great spin on low country fare. Definitely kicked up a notch. Very clean, very pleasant.
Georgetown is full of great places for lunch. So much so that it's hard to stand out, but Atlantic House has no trouble doing so. Everything is excellent.

From 6/2015: Finally an affordable eatery that will satisfy the gastronomic desires of foodies, right here in d/t Georgetown. Sit outside street-side or along the open air "alley" as the inside has limited seating. Staff is pretty well trained and attentive. Our waitress was Jessica and she did a very good job with service. Additionally she was supported by the tallest waiter every. The owner came to table to chat. Food was imaginative and well prices. Lunch special of $12 and the Fett. Alfredo w/ a topping of grilled Salmon was tasty, but would have to admit the salmon was a little skimpy for the extra charge and my wife's Lunch special flat bread too the price for taste and texture. We will be certain to revisit this place, as it is popular with tourists and locals alike. SaleebScore: Food: 8/10; Service: 8.5/10; Value 9.5/10 From 9/2015: Again another fab experience, this time after a court date (and win) in Georgetown we celebrated with LUNCH and ate indoors this time. Laura was our server and we opted for the Tuna Nachos (AWESOME... MUST HAVE) and the Salmon Salad. I had the Lunch Special 12 what ever that means, but it was GONE.. Delicious.
I had some worries when I saw how small the kitchen was and counted nearly forty items on the menu. Hmmm... But I had the osso bucco and was pleasantly surprised. It was tender and tasty, even though I am not sure why there was some kind of pesto oil under risotto, and the meat was way, way, way over-sauced. Still, a pleasant dish and good service.
We tried this gem of a bistro for the first time for a late lunch. We were surprisingly impressed by the freshness of the seafood in our entrees... Linguini con Vongole and Scallop over Orzo pasta special. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable and The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. Two thumbs up!

This place is fabulous! A little off the beaten path, and unassuming appearance, but definitely stop in. Food is delicious and fresh, service is prompt and friendly. Beer list is pretty basic but well priced and they are currently advertising a $2 happy hour from 4pm - 6pm. We hAd the Greek salad and meaty pizza, highly recommend both.
Really good food. Haven't had anything that my family didn't like. They're a bit pricey, but the food is high quality. The place is small and there is limited parking, so that could be an issue if you're going on a Friday or Saturday night. FYI, watch the soft drink refills, they're not free.
My husband and I ate here! He got a pizza which was extremely good and I got a meatball sandwich and it was excellent! Definitely will be back again!

If you are looking for a good deli in Georgetown this is it! Simple and VERY good. Stopped in close to their closing time. The owners were very welcoming. Sandwiches were good and sides were excellent and plentiful. We will be back again!
Found this place while driving through. Picked-up and excellent Italian sub and devoured it soon thereafter. Would definitely eat there again.
Every time I am in Georgetown or passing through for work or play, I always make a stop at the Deli. It is often the highlight of my work trips. The owners are friendly, and the food is always wonderful! They remember my name and my daughters name and always ask how she is doing. I highly recommend this spot for lunch if you are in town or passing through. I love it for the down home, friendly service with a smile and excellent food too!!!!

Delicious homemade ice cream & candies! We brought the family for ice cream & tried almost every flavor. All were great! Also bought pralines which was awesome!
Cute little confection shop on a quaint small-town main street. Homemade ice cream was wonderful (maybe around 12 different flavors); they offer milkshakes too! There were many benches along the street to enjoy our treats and watch life go by. The wide variety of chocolates and sweets were delicious and fun. We tried the chocolate frogs, 3 different kids of turtles, coconut clusters, mint bark, choco-covered graham crackers, mint chocolate-covered Oreos and of course, their famous pecan pralines. All very good! The only detractor was the woman behind the counter - - she wasn't rude, but not very welcoming either. Sweeten up!!
Delicious treats with great variety! Their pralines are so good. And I love the yelp offer they have available currently. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Georgetown!

The prices are pretty high but the food was good. Georgetown on the water is pretty nice and the CBC is right in the middle. You have to buy a 20oz bottle if you want a soda and of course no refills. We were there for breakfast and it was pretty good. The pancakes were the star of the show. Large and tasty. The breakfast sandwich was more of a snack to a grown man. Its close in size to a MCD sausage at 5x the price.
Great place for coffee, breakfast or lunch! Love the atmosphere and the staff. It's also a lovely place to read a book or hang out with a friend.
Excellent mochas and lattes. We also had the coffee cake and turkey club sandwich, which were both excellent. The decor is adorable and was a welcomed pit stop en route to Charleston!
