My girlfriend and I decided to enjoy a beer and some food while taking in the view of the river. We chose this place at random as they seemed to have plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas available. I got a perfectly serviceable cheese steak which actually had a really nice roll. The fries which appeared to be fresh cut in house came a bit cold unfortunately. My girlfriend got a chicken salad which she seemed to enjoy. The chicken which I did try was abundant and very well seasoned. Overall I would say take this place for what its worth, a bar with a nice view. Stick to the bar food and you'll be just fine.

OMG....I thought I would be safe with a rib eye. Nope. It was half cooked and encusted / covered in a layer of garlic salt and italian dried Mccormick seasoning. I asked to see the chef and asked him "why".....? Please just bring me the the burger. Simple, right? OMG....5 small pieces (lumps)bread crumbs, onion soup mix, a layer of garlic salt and italian dried Mccormick seasoning...and some meat...hidden under a tasty wedge of cheddar cheese lettuce and tomato on a bakery fresh roll. RUINED A BURGER AND STEAK. WHAT ELSE CAN THEY MESS UP???

Stopped in after a day of walking downtown wanting a beer. Sat down at the bar and asked if they had a drink menu. They did not, which was fine. The overall beer selection was just ok, nothing special. I asked if I could get the Palmetto beer that was on tap. The handle clearly said it was the Palmetto Lager, but alas, it was clearly not. It was definitely a very hoppy beer which the bartender then told me that yes it was the IPA Palmetto, but only after I asked. I didn't mind because I am an IPA fan but he didn't even apologize or offer something else. Seemed a little unprofessional. 2 stars because I didn't mind the beer and the view was nice. See picture.

After spending a day in Georgetown on the river we were starving by 4 o'clock and this looked like a nice place to stop. They were not crowded (hopefully later in the evening they are busier) and our party of 8 was seated right away and one of the only tables in the restaurant. They have a small draft list and I went with my go to of Blue Moon. We were so hungry we ordered 3 appetizers and glad we did as they were not huge portions. We started with the calamari, mozzarella sticks and hush puppies. What was not to like about the fried food goodness. For their entrees they have a mix of seafood and sandwiches. A few in our party ordered the crab cake sandwich and were a bit disappointed since it was fried. Those that ordered seafood platters were very happy with the large portions of shrimp, scallops etc. I went with a burger and instead of fries they were able to substitute vegetables. The burger was delicious and almost too big to eat. The vegetables were dripping with butter a little too much. Overall a nice bar to eat at.

This tavern was a great find in Georgetown. The menu had many interesting choices and all of the selections were delicious. We loved the fried pickles appetizer, especially the sauce. The restaurant is right on the water offering beautiful views of the South Carolina landscape. Our server was quick and attentive. And, the owner stopped by a couple of times to check on us.

Grouper and and Salmon are excellent. Don't miss the soft-shelled crab in season. Good wine list with reasonable prices. Very attentive and helpful staff. Their take out vegetarian pizza made my book club very happy. Dine inside or outside overlooking the river.

Worst dining experience we have had in a very long time. Although only a handful of tables were seated, it took over an hour and a half to get our food. Waitress told us twice that our food would be "coming right out," only to wait another 15 minutes. When the food arrived, both oyster po boys were cold...not warm, but COLD. Waitress said she would "tell them" but never returned to give is an update. 15 mins later, a lady brought us a dish of oysters, not even on a bun! Avoid this place at all costs. Absolutely miserable experience all around.

The service was fine. The only fresh fish was flounder which was served on a grilled bun. Good but not great. The view is nice looking at the water and dock.

Don't believe the negative reviews! We had excellent service and wonderful food! Our server, AJ, was very attentive and offered us great advice in terms of food selection. The crab cake sandwich was delicious, and I highly recommend the homemade chips!

Great menu and great view over the harbor. Their prices are more reasonable than most other places on Front St.

We ate here a few days ago. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Live music with Dan and Sally Lou? Great fun and great atmosphere. Stop in and see for yourself.

The service here was very slow - slow to bring us drinks, to take our order, and to bring our food. The food we did get was good, but nothing special. The best part was the view out the windows...

I randomly happened upon this really cool restaurant tavern after the initial place I tried to go was closed at 3pm. It's in the back of a small walk in mall right on the water with an awesome view and outdoor seating. I was extremely happy to see the special was a seafood boil that had allll of the good stuff in it. The boil had great flavor and the shrimp were large and succulent, about four of my clams didn't open and I asked the manager (maybe the owner) if I should eat them because I wasn't sure. He said that wouldn't eat them and he ordered me another half dozen, I told him I was good with what I had and he insisted. I pride myself on being a zero to low maintenance customer and I've never felt so welcomed at establishment... I wished I lived in the same state because this would be my new jam! The oyster hoagie was phenomenal also, not sure what type of seasoning/crack they put in the batter but it is fantastic! My waitress was also great to talk to ;)

I would give this restaurant 5 star for the food they serve. Just what we wanted. Great view of the harbor altho I hated seeing the factory in the distance but that will be true for all the places here. Our party of 6 ordered homemade chips, hush puppies, fried pickles and green tomatoes for apps. All freshly made and not greasy. Entrees were blt (with fried green tomatoes) fried oysters (some shell in a couple) and burgers. .. everyone was very happy. Service was great. Food came out in good time. We're very picky about our food and very pleased with this place.

The food here may be great, I wouldn't know. My family and I waited at a dockside table for 45 minutes after ordering. Waitress came out and tried to make excuses about why she forgot us.
