We stopped there on a long drive on 95. the restaurant was conveniently less than 5 min from 95. The food had a home cooked meal feel to it that we liked. The owner told us which food was actually vegetarian (no fish sauce/ chicken stock etc... in my experience, many if not most Asian places consider a dish vegetarian even if it has those as long as there are no pieces of meat). We got the vegetable teriyaki and added tofu. It also came with a side salad.

Very reasonable great tasting food and good service to top it off. We stopped with our 2 kids (2 yrs and 3 months) on our way to the beach. Thumbs up!

This is some of the best Japanese food I've had. I'm here on business from Raleigh, NC. We need this place in Raleigh. Very clean and good customer service as well.

This is my weekly stop on my sales route. Both their hibachi and teriyaki is delicious. Probably the best quick order Japanese restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

Well, the service was friendly at least. As for the food, this was pretty subpar -- you'd really be better off going to the frozen section of the local grocery store and grabbing a microwaveable rice bowl than going to this restaurant. The miso soup was kind of okay. Admittedly, my expectations were perhaps somewhat higher than they should have been due to the previous positive reviews, however I should have known not to get Japanese food off the freeway in South Carolina.
