This is a standard hibachi/Japanese Show Cooking restaurant. The food is not excellent, but pretty good for what it is. The prices are a little steep. One thing to know, if you are here just to get some food, and don't care about the show cooking part, sit in the sushi bar area. It is a small area right behind the hostess station. It only has about 4 tables, but you will be seated immediately and probably served a lot faster than if you are waiting for a regular communal table. The have 30% off select sushi rolls on Sunday and Monday nights. It's decent sushi.

Made reservations for 16:30 to eat. I asked about the Korean dishes and the young lady told us they do have them. The place looked pretty nice and clean. There was one other couple at the table just getting their salad. Rose turned to take our order. We asked where the Korean dish menu was and she said they didn't have one. We went all the way from West Ashley to sample the new Korean dishes that were reviewed by The Post and Courier on November 14th. Fail: they don't have any Korean dishes. Although the Post and Courier not only reviewed but had a picture of Bi Bim Bop dish in the article.

Great food as always, lots of rice. They put on a good show. If you get there at 4, you shouldn't have to wait too long. Or, you could use yelp like us on your cell and make reservations! Only downside I can think of is my husband wishes his steak was a little bit bigger.

Celebrated one of my best buds birthday here tonight,(Fri 8-10-12). Charles/Charlie was our server. Excellent! Bruce Allen was our hibachi chef... Very witty and kept me smiling. I ordered two sushi rolls and they were delish. One of my best nights here!

Went for Sushi had some Super White Tuna and Salmon Nigiri which was recommended as fresh caught. It was amazing, we also had three rolls which were also amazing. The only bad part was the waitress she was completely useless, we had to ask for menu's and prompt her for everything. I will go back and hopefully we get a better waitress because this sushi joint is a hidden jem!

Ummm well not for sushi!!! If you go into a japanese hibachi steak house for sushi you're asking for a whole lot of trouble lol. Jk. But seriously they do steaks... Came here because it is the new place in town. It's a really nice atmosphere and I gave them stars for that alone and probably because their hibachi is good. If you want hibachi table type dining this is a nice choice, but don't order the sushi...

Worst fried rice I've ever had at a hibachi restaurant and I've been to many. Sushi wasn't even cold which is weird. I won't be going back.

My party was told we would get the same service if we sat at a table without a grill. WRONG!!! After an hour and 30 minutes later our food never came! Every time we went to ask someone what was taking so long we were told they were cooking it now. Finally, it got to the point where everyone in my party decided it was time to walk out. The manager had enough nerve to charge us for the soup and salad. The manager (Asian woman) could barely speak English and she was unable to comprehend the complaints from my party about the poor customer service. This was by far the worst service I've ever experienced in my life!

This is an excellent place to bring children or teens on a birthday they have a little 'ceremony' thing that's quite cute. Make reservations or call-ahead seating because the place is packed full from the time they open til when they close and while there's a wee sushi bar inside and a small lounge area they both fill up very fast. The chefs put on quite the show for everyone (some more than others) but for the most part the food is well prepared and its well worth a try.
