When it comes to he munchies this place has all you will ever desire. The savory crepes have something to be said about them, but if you're really looking to make your mouth water, try deciding over one of the desert crepes. Tokyo crepes is a hidden gem amongst the big charleston restaurant scene, but it has my vote for some amazing food. And a quirky take on eating it too!

I have seen Tokyo Crepes pop up within the past year but never got around to trying it. Today I finally did! I walked in and the place is super cute and the girls working there were very nice and informative. They told me each of their favorites and went with one. I got the Little Thai which is Avocado, Arugula, Spinach, Corn, Cilantro, Cucumber Corn & Thai sweet chili peanut sauce. It was really good and surprisingly filling. The only downfall to this place is that the prices are a little high for something that didnt involve any meat (at least the one I chose didnt have any meat in it). I might come back in just to try it out one more time but the prices are a little too high for me to frequently visit. They also have a bento box at lunch which looks pretty interesting.

Delicious food, lots of unique and creative options, but very difficult to eat. Their sweet crepes are a bit easier to eat than their savory ones though since they're smaller. I had the apple tuna, and definitely recommend it.

Got the Cuban crepe from their downtown location. It was drenched in mustard and the meat looked processed / probably came from Walmart. The combination of flavors and ingredients wasn't very good and certainly wasn't worth the $8 price tag. In won't be back for a savory crepe, but their sweet crepes might be better. It's possible that a Cuban sandwich simply doesn't translate well to crepe format.

This is a quaint little creperie with a unique menu. The teriyaki and Cuban crepes were really yummy. I would definitely go back for more and try their dessert crepes. They are kind of difficult to eat, though. Parking is pretty much non existent because this is in a residential area. Word on the street is they're not strict about the parking permits.

Amazing crepes! We took a wrong turn and drove by Tokyo Crepes and had to try it. We are so glad we did! The "Veggie Monster" crepe was phenomenal and the odd-sounding crepe with banana, Nutella, and cheddar cheese was ridiculously good! I'm so glad we got our directions wrong. :) Oh, and the people who work there are the absolute best! They are passionate about their food and customers. Check them out!

I've only had the savory crepes that they had and they have great options with delicious combinations from their menu. I enjoyed the options of vegan and vegetarian and gluten free crepe paper. The savory crepes can be filing for some, but if you're used to eating a large portion, this would be a better snack than meal. I'm only giving it 4 stars because i have not given the sweet crepes a chance. YET.

Always inviting, always friendly, always enthralled. This place has some of the best staff members I've had the pleasure of dealing with at a restaurant. The relaxed feel and the playful decor always make me feel welcome and appreciated. Sign up for their rewards program! It's easy to rack up points and get perks. This place is great for lunch, or a dessert/snack stop with sweet and savory options. Tokyo Crepes will continue to get my enthusiastic business and approval.

I love crepes. Very few do them as well as Tokyo Crepes. The restaurant is tina and chock full of quirky manga-like items, giving it a real personality. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating with special requests. The food was beyond delicious. I feel I will need to come back and try the rest of the crepes on the menu! The one we shared (Sunny Chicken) had chicken, feta, and tzatziki sauce.

My crepe was cold as soon I took it from the cashier. They ran out of 1/4 of the ingredients for my crepe but didn't tell me until after I paid and they started making it. We will not be returning. This place is not worth $7++ crepes.

Tokyo crepes is a little out of the way but I loved what I ordered. It was delicious and the staff was friendly. A little overpriced maybe but otherwise a good decision for a treat. This place is definitely located a bit off the beaten path but worth the walk there for me.

Delicious healthy and not crazy expensive.. A totally rarity in charleston. However the decor and atmosphere (if you can call it that) are truly a bummer which means you pretty much need to take your food to go, and these crepes are best eaten on the spot. Disappointing, but we'll be back anyways because of the fantastic meal we had.

This place is awesome - the food is fresh, delicious, cheap, healthy, and fast, which is not common in Charleston. It's also vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free friendly, and the vegetarian options are so tasty and interesting. I've eaten here three times and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality - I feel like for whatever reason Tokyo Crepes isn't in the loop of trendy foodie places, but it's legitimately great food, it's now going to be my go-to for a quick yummy meal. Oh! And I really appreciate that the crepes come wrapped in paper, rather than plastic/styrofoam/box like a lot of places that do fast food - I hate producing a pile of trash every time I want a meal. Thank you Tokyo Crepes!!

The crepes would be 5 stars if they reduce the whipped cream by 60 percent and had a cheese cake option (like in Japan). I ordered the one with strawberry, custard and whipped cream (I believe a little under 6 dollars). They start off by making a nice fresh crepe paper, then they line the strawberries and put custard filling toward the bottom, then they line it with whipped cream. After they roll it they "fill" the rest of it with whipped cream so all u can see and taste when u have the crepe is the whipped cream... At first I was like wow this is tasty and then the whipped cream bites never ended and I got so tired of it. The worst part is that I asked for just little whipped cream and that was the one with a little in it. My friend had even more in hers. I will change my rating if they reduce the whipped cream and perhaps come up with a cheesecake option. The staff was nice tho.

Really cool dine-in experience and the workers are always very friendly. Tons of options to choose from, including gluten-free meals. Highly recommend!

Delicious crepes! I had the large breakfast burrito and it was delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and made good conversation. Good service too, they payed good attention and always refilled my water as I was running out. I ordered a second crepe because I was ravenous and they added extra toppings that I decided not to order due to the price- excellent surprise! So tasty, and I'd definitely recommend it!

This is a great place to grab a quick bite any time of day. I had the veggie monster breakfast crepe and shared the dream sweet crepe-both were awesome. I will definitely be frequenting this place often and you should too!
