Hands down the best Starbucks I've ever been too. The only downfall is limited parking. But they are fast, extremely friendly, and make the perfect drink.

Standard Starbucks experience. There was an insanely long line on a late Saturday morning as we all finished yoga and were looking for our caffeine fix. The baristas, while not overly friendly, were certainly quick moving through the line. My coffee came out exactly as it should have. The fixins bar looked a touch messy, but with the traffic in the store it was to be expected. Comfy chairs for getting some work done or catching up with a friend.

I do wish there were more local coffee shops on James Island but for a Starbucks this is a good one. Lines can be rough in the morning but otherwise, they get your drinks right, have loads of seats inside and out, and are always happy behind the counter.

Not James Island but in West Ashley. Who knew? These guys are quick, friendly and know how to make a perfect latte. Oh of your aren't already join The Starbucks gold card thingy. Really with it if you drink a lot of Starbucks. Did I mention you can pay with an app?!

Pretty standard for Starbucks, but none of these baristas go out of their way.

Went there yesterday because I needed to redeem gold card reward. Fast and friendly service. Lots of room inside. Wifi for free. Parking right outside as well as across the street. Barista was cool.

This is the best Starbucks I've ever been to. It is definitely set up for studying, working or chatting with friends. It is really well laid out with about 6 two person tables and 3 four person tables. There are also 3 four person tables outside under a covering, so you could potentially sit out there, even when it is raining. In the middle there are two couches and 4 arm chairs available to sit in. The wifi isn't that great here (or at any Starbucks really). I've heard that Starbucks is working with Google to improve the wifi signal. It is fine for basic internet browsing/email, but streaming music or video's are kind of impossible, but for it being free, it works. This is good to know if you are going to try to do any kind of online learning, it will be hard to do. The staff has always been swift, accurate and kind each time I've ordered. The biggest complaint I have, which is really just me being picky, is that the A/C is always on full blast here. If you are susceptible to getting cold easily in air conditioned spaces, make sure to definitely bring a jacket to this Starbuck, otherwise you will freeze your ass off in here. Parking is usually available in the Earth Fare parking lot across the street, so park there if you can't find a spot in front. Hours are pretty good. They are open 5:30am-10pm everyday, so this is a good place to study/work on a Sunday night when a lot of other places are closed. However, if you are in the Charleston area looking to study/work/hang out past 10pm, the Starbucks on International Blvd near the Convention Center and Airport is open until midnight.

Good Starbucks, they make the coffee just right and it's fast. There's no drive thru, so sometimes seating inside is a little packed. My skinny mocha today there was awesome. The staff members are very nice Plus, they're open early, have a bathroom and it's close to the West Ashley Greenway... Parking is kind of a drawback because the shopping center is busy and so is the side road. I always park at Earth Fare and walk over.

This Starbucks is mediocre. The service is hit or miss. There is a guy who is fantastic, and I'm always happy to see him. Otherwise, the staff is not very friendly and often disinterested. I much prefer other Starbucks in the area. The drinks are fine, but they are missing the customer service connection!

For Cheers generation this is the perfect Starbucks. Where everyone knows your name and the coffee you drink! Staff is wonderful. Nice inside and outside seating area

I really enjoy visiting this location of Starbucks because they seem to really be on their game here. The staff is always friendly, coffee is always hot, food is fresh (for frozen food that has been thawed and heated), and the atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back. Every visit I've made her the staff has been on point with a smile and greeting; offering fast service preparing that delicious Starbucks coffee. I just love the couches here as they are very comfortable to relax on and enjoy some coffee and conversation with a friend. Sometimes when this location gets busy it can be a pain to park (or even get out of a parking spot when leaving), tables fill up leaving nowhere to sit, and the line gets backed up. But this is pretty much the case with any Starbucks. To me the wait and pains are worth it for me to get a venti cup of delicious and hot bold coffee to fuel me through the day.

My favorite Starbucks! The manager (Joe) is very nice! He knows Starbucks and Coffee! This rare Starbucks is one of a few hundred in the U.S. that has a Clover Machine!! If you have yet to enjoy a Clover brewed coffee, you must give it a try! The aroma of coffee and espresso hits your nose as soon as you open the door. The staff is friendly and they remember their regulars! Best item of all, this Bux is fast!

I like this Starbucks because it's close to my job, and it's across the street from Earth Fair. There is seating outside (just a few tables and chairs), and if you can get one it's a nice place to chill for a minute. The downside is because it's across the street from a little plaza there is a lot of traffic, so you just can't zip in and out. Lots of businesses in that area.

In theory this is an excellent Starbucks--there are leather furniture pieces, large wooden tables and ample seating for folks coming in to chat and hang out. There is also abundant parking in the strip mall where the shop is located. Unfortunately this location suffers because the temperature is set to a bizarre, inappropriately low temperature. It honestly feels like it is in the mid- to low 60s at all times, which makes it extremely uncomfortable. If you plan to come, regardless of the time of year, you should plan on wearing socks, long pants and some kind of jacket unless the staff make some changes to the ambient temperature in the future. Normally I wouldn't subtract from a location's rating because of something like the AC, but it negatively impacts the whole experience when you can't even be in the location because of how cold it is. This would be super easy to fix and it would probably be more cost efficient for them unless they're intentionally trying to turn tables over by making it uncomfortable.

I loved my occasional stop into this shop. Even with the amount of people they have in there constantly, they are always moving customers right along in a very friendly way. Shout out to my fav barista, Erin M. When she was there.

The only reason I give two stars is for the poor cell reception you get here if you're with AT&T. So many people come to Starbucks for the free WiFi so that they can get a change of scenery and still conduct business. As someone who works from home, I need to get out of the house every once in a while! Anyway, if you're an AT&T customer, you will not get service here. One bar, at most. So just know this if you choose to come here to take calls and try to get work done. Everything else about the place is great. The baristas are super nice. But I think it's important to note the inaccessibility of cell reception.

Windemere Starbucks holds a special place in my heart. I've gone there for years. It was my favorite spot to study although I was often distracted from people watching. It can be very crowded but the location is awesome. It's nestled in between James Island, Downtown, and West Ashley. There's also little shops and the library near by.

This is a quieter coffee shop than those in Charleston on King and Calhoun, tucked away in a shopping plaza on Windermere. They also close a little earlier than other locations, at 10 on weekdays to be exact. Baristas were young kids, who were generally courteous even though I heard them talking about other customers within earshot. Drink was good, place is clean, most of the clientele seems to be from the nearby suburban neighborhoods, regulars at this place. There was plenty of seating surprisingly, one hour before closing.
