Holy lunch specials ladies and gentlemen. About $6.00 and you get a salad and food. College students do need to find good lunch specials because students live on a budget. Now just because you are on a budget doesn't mean that you should sacrifice taste and quality. Here you get good food for an affordable price. Service is fast and you can definitely get in and out on a short lunch break. Of course they do make Togo orders too. But you would be missing out on the people watching you will get to do while enjoying your fried rice. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and ginger salad. I know lobster sauce sounds expensive but let me assure you it's just a fancy way of saying shrimp in some kind of Asian gravy. No lobster in the sauce. It was tasty and well worth the stop. I will surely make this one of my stops for lunch at least once a week. No not because I am Asian and need rice at least once a week or else I will wither away to nothingness. It's because the prices are good and the food is good.

Boo! I used to live for fresh rolls. I ordered their chicken fresh rolls and I just felt like I got something different. The menu says there are "herbs" in them (typically delicious basil) but both of mine were nothing but lettuce, a single piece of red pepper and what tasted like boiled chicken, completely unflavored. Sigh. Moved onto the peanut-coconut chicken dish and it was super underwhelming. Even their white rice was kind of over done, to the point of tasting watery. Something went very, very wrong with this order. I got delivery and it arrived quickly, that was the only enjoyable experience. I'm usually pro-second chance but I don't even think I would give them another shot.

Rule #1 for choosing an Asian food restaurant: See if there are Asian people eating there. Unfortunately, there aren't too many Asians in Charleston, so this rule-of-thumb pretty much breaks down. The next best guiding principle? See if there are Asian people making the food. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. This place isn't bad, but it isn't fantastic either. Small-ish portions that are a bit overpriced. The saving grace of this place is its utterly fast service. My party of three sat down, ate, and paid our checks within 1/2 hour. No joke.

I've lived in Charleston going on 4 years now and Spring Roll is always my goto Asian food choice! They deliver and are open later than almost any restaurant downtown. The staff is so nice and will remember your order after only a few visits. You get your food fast and it's a very reasonable price.

Authentic Chinese beef stir fried rice noodle (Ho Fun)! Healthy and low sodium! Taste great and the same in south China,

The fish seems to be very fresh, I really enjoy their rolls. I also love the seaweed salad. And the fact that they deliver is a huge plus!

This is a review for the spring rolls only: Your restaurant is called Spring Roll but you have no idea what a spring roll is. A spring roll is NOT deep fried. That's an egg roll A spring roll is not a loose square. Its cylindrical and rolled tightly like a cigar. A spring roll has vermicelli noodles, lettuce and cilantro. Not bell peppers. Spring rolls are like pizza: its almost impossible to have a bad one. Except when you come here You're a locally owned restaurant and I hate to give bad reviews to mom and pops but you made me do it. Damn you, you made me do it.

Just had dinner there tried sesame chicken and sweet and sour. I would say with comfort the worst restaurant in charleston so far. Food is tasteless and very far from the good asian cuisine. Don't waste your time or money.

The best chinese place for "General Tso's Chicken" and the service is friendly and swift! Have great lunch options which are not at all pricey considering the location and the pricey restaurants around. Good for family, students, business people. Always keep on coming back the moment I crave for some asian food and those spring rolls!

Spring Roll is a casual dining restaurant that is locally owned and operated in downtown Charleston. It is my roommate and I's favorite place to go have a nice, filling meal. We love it! And the servers are always kind and courteous. We even eat there enough for the waiters to know exactly what we want before even ordering! The food itself is very delicious (my favorite dish is the red curry) and always is accompanied by many fresh vegetables. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Charleston for a long weekend. Cute little place on the inside and we were more than satisfied with our meals. I had the Thai Basil chicken. The plate was colorful full of fresh vegetables and the chicken was light and tasty. My boyfriend had the General Tsao Tofu (not on the menu but they made it for him anyways). The tofu came out fried nice and hard just like he likes it and the General Tsao sauce was perfect. We also shared an order of their vegetable spring rolls which came out hot and fresh. If we ever travel back to the Charleston area, i would definitely go back and eat here again.

Sushi, Thai, Chinese with excellent, crispy spring rolls, and great combination plates. The Chef does turn out a pretty tasty sushi roll, and they don't skimp on the portions, either. Good stop near the corner of King & Calhoun.
