I don't know what was going on with the staff, but there was some sort of meeting near our table, and a short while later, an employee left in tears. Our waiter, who was very nice, had soup spilled on him. People at a table across from us left their meals on the table and walked out. Weird! Our food was good. I had one of their signature burgers with avocado and swiss cheese and bacon. Tasty, but slightly bland. My sister had some sort of California flat-bread thing, which she said was very good. It's basically sit-down fast food. Something you go out for once a month or so, because - reasons.

This place has been declining for some time. We used to like it in 2013. Once had a terrible empty salad bar at lunch when the restaurant wasn't busy, the manager fixed it and admitted he was from Orlando to try to step up the restaurant. That was fixed but the restaurant was never rehabilitated. This time, the hostess could not understand why we didn't want to sit crowded with 3 other tables when the entire section was available for lunch on a Monday...she said "that wasn't part of the servers section". I've been a server and when a customer asks for a table just a couple more down from the empty section, it's not a big deal. She eventually sat us, but there should have been no reason I had to break this down for her. The server seemed overwhelmed by her small section and was very slow to bring drinks. Another server dropped off our food and napkins as we requested promptly. We were 10 mins into our meal and the original server brought napkins. She was nice but not a good server at all. Another table was visibly annoyed by her slow operations. We thought the food would be a good point. And it tasted good. However, my significant other and I are both ill from our meal, me especially. Thanks for the crappy service and food poisoning. This restaurant does not meet the standards I thought Ruby Tuesday was known for. Very disappointed.

For a chain, not bad. Been there a few times. Salad bar is fantastic, fresh. Food is good, people friendly. If you want a good meal, at reasonable prices, can't get better. Not your mother's food, but good. Frank G

We somehow ended up here before seeing our movie. The husband wanted a chain, so we went here. As far as Ruby Tuesday's go, this one was fine enough. I felt like I was expecting a little more out of the salad bar, but maybe it's just been so long since I've been here that they scaled down the options on purpose. I ordered the spicy fish tacos and my husband got the salmon. My tacos were ok- a little heavy on the shredded cheese as a filler; my husband said his salmon was good. In all, it was ok for a midday quick lunch, but I'm not sure we're going to make it back again with so many great local places to try.

For a simple chain restaurant Ruby Tuesdays is the way to go. The salad bar is always very fresh and pretty plentiful. It's a good way to fill up before your meal even comes out. The service here at the West Ashley location is always very friendly. The busiest I've ever seen the place is Sunday afternoon. What can I say, I'm biased. I was born on a Tuesday!

I haven't been to a Ruby Tuesdays in about two decades so last night we decided to go since they were having this rib festival. I love baby backs more than anything and very few restaurants cook them right. Well at Ruby Tuesday's these were by far the worst I have ever had. You could barely get your knife through them. Not to mention having absolutely no flavor at all. Oh it was a Friday night and they were not busy despite the fact that the waitress complained that they were. That should have been a sign to get out. For all the people who complimented the salad bar which my wife had well they have no understanding of what fresh is.

Terrible service when trying to place a to go order I was put on hold for 10 min and again on hold when I called them back. Disappointing. This is not the first time. So I decided to write this review.

This was one of my fav restaurants..I hated when they left Northwoods Mall..only have one girlfriend that I can occasionally go with to the West Ashley location...love the pasta salad and apple salad at the salad bar. Potato salad a bit bland in flavor. They haven't changed up the salad bar ingredients in years so it's pretty reliable but... It's near the front door so in summer has attracted flies in the past...glad to see there weren't any this trip! I miss the old days when they had cracker packets at the salad bars...u just get croutons now. A variety of entrees on the menu...in replacement of four garlic biscuits now with your meals, you get like 2 biscuit halves for 2 people and they call it flatbread... I asked for 2 more and they gave it to us. I don't think the server liked us two old ladies much, she looked annoyed when we asked for more bread and napkins, and she never refilled my water. We just ate the salad bar so it's not like it was much work for her? I think the table of guys next to us got better service.

So I read the reviews about good service. I did not get that person. Sat at the bar for lunch. Only 2 other people at bar and got passed by several times just to get my drink order in. Then it took a few minutes just to get an unsweet tea. Salad bar was very low or out of several items including me grabbing one of the last 2 plates. Told someone and was finally tended to over 5 minutes later. Tea was empty during mean for several minutes before I had to ask for more tea. Now the food, salad bar was very good as Ruby Tuesdays tend to be other than the low amount of stuff. Also got the chicken quesadilla and was surprised and how good. Didn't come with sour cream so had to sake for that. Overall I would come back. I think an earlier rush may have played into the salad bar and the server possibly being slightly worn out.

Normally I don't seek out chain restaurants when I am choosing a place to eat. However, from time to time, I get invited to one for a group lunch or dinner. That was the case for this visit to Ruby Tuesday as well. We had a large group (20+ people) so this was an affordable option where everyone could be served in a timely manner. We ordered ahead of time, so they were able to get our food pretty quickly. I ordered the grilled chicken with baked potato & steamed broccoli, and was happy with my meal. Of course, it wasn't a gourmet dining experience, but it was a good solid meal. The servers did a good job keeping everyone's drinks filled and making sure everyone had what they needed, thus the 4 stars.

Great food and excellent service! Salad Bar was clean and the Fish Tacos were great. Our waitress was extremely friendly and took care of every need. This location has its act together.

Not a big Ruby Tuesday customer but really??? We stopped by for a drink and the bartender was pleasant but didn't know how to do anything but pour beer. The restaurant was filthy and smelled. This effected my whole thought process on this chain. We won't go to any of them again.

Enjoyed the new bbq chicken breast with white cheddar mashed potatoes and the salad bar. Loved the potatoes! All food served fresh and hot, server was cordial and professional.

The prices are really costly for what you get. The food is better than it used to be be, its now average. I would much prefer Al Di La or the Glass Onion. Both are close to here and are the same price range. Both are also local.

Took my 83 year old grandmother and wife for lunch and turns out main stream Ruby Tuesdays has made commercial very nice. Very impressive lunch menu and great deal with included salad bar. Well played Rubys, well played.
