Mixed of Caribbean flavors, not Jamaican!

I've been looking for a place serving up Jamaican food forever and finally found it. I heard about this place through word of mouth and stopped in for lunch one day. It's in an interesting part of town but I had no problems and the store is nice, bright, and clean inside. Their menu changes daily so just double check what they are serving that day. I've had curry goat one visit and oxtails on my second. Oxtails were ok but the curry goat was delicious. Coworkers got jerk chicken and were satisfied. You definitely get a full belly eating here. Also, they deliver orders over $30 and the delivery guy is great!

The beef patty, jerk chicken, oxtail, and red snapper we're great. Devon and his staff are doing Jamaican food the right way. The restaurant is not in the nicest places but is well worth the adventure. Everything is Irie here.

This place is pretty good. Tried the beef pairles, curried goat, and jerk chicken. Taste was great, including rice. Authentic food. My only personal dislike is having chopped meat with bones; just makes it a bit tedious. But it's good, authentic food. Give it a try.

Was in the area for training and decided to give a Reggae Grill a shot, what a great decision that was! The first time I went I ordered the Oxtails which comes with veggies and rice & peas which were all really good. If you've never had Jamaican rice & peas you're missing out. It has a slightly sweet taste due to the coconut milk; really good. I went back twice and ordered the curry goat and the jerk chicken. All three times I left a satisfied customer. If you're looking for some good AUTHENTIC Jamaican/West Indian food Reggae Grill is the spot!

Ordered the jerk chicken... It was really good and flavorful. It comes with a side of rice and peas which was also very good. Hopefully they stay open, since there are not many West Indian restaurants down here.

Stopped in for lunch and found the Reggae Grill to be a great find. It is clear that most of the food is made with love. The available dishes are on a white board at the counter - do not bother with the menu. Jerk chicken, curry chicken and oxtails were available as well as beef pies. We ordered jerk chicken and oxtails. They only take debit (literally must punch in passcode) or cash. The nice ladies at the counter recommended buying a drink as the food is spicy. Great idea! The food arrived to our table very fast. Unfortunately, the beef pie was just not good. It was clearly pre-frozen and had a yucky piece of gristle on my first bite. Definitely skip this. I ordered a small jerk chicken and my friend got the large oxtails. There was not much difference in the size of the plates however. Mine had delicious bone-in chicken ( a leg and a thigh) smothered in rich, spicy, sticky sauce served with a side of rice, cabbage and a piece of plantain. My friends oxtails were plentiful with slightly more rice, cabbage and a few more plantains. I love the rice! It is spiced with cinnamon and clove. The chicken rocked. The cabbage was tasty and the plantain was a nice touch. My friend enjoyed the oxtails - not my bag though. This was a great deal for $7 (small) and $10 (large), I couldn't finish my meal, but I definitely tried. I would go back to try the curry and brown stew. Great little place, nice service! Go early because I hear they can run out of food come dinnertime - it is just that good.

The ox tails were really good. Also the goat was OK just had to watch for the bones. Great prices.

Other than the neighborhood being sketchy, can't complain about the food or the cleanliness of the restaurant would definitely come back again.

Besides being located in a sketchy area inside the restaurant is spacious. The food is very good, they serve large amounts of food. Had the brown stew chicken with rice and Jamaican patties. only accept debit or cash. No credit or checks. open mon thru sat. closed sunday

The food is "okay," but not all of it is authentic. The coco bread is store bought bread & taste like plastic. The coco bread I'm use to purchasing is homemade and deep fried. The plantains are store bought frozen ones, like the ones I purchase from Publix. The cabbage medley is too sweet. The oxtails, curry chicken, & jerk chicken is ok. I had better. And their beef/chicken patties are also brought from elsewhere and cooked in restaurant. This place needs more in house cooking! It's a disgrace to Jamaican food!

I had the goat curry. Everything was delicious but the only thing keeping me from 5 stars was that I lived in the Caribbean for 2 years and I was hoping for more menu items and more flavor. Very good though. I'll be back!
