It ain't fine dining. It is fast food fresh and hot. Price is fair and I many times do not eat it all when I get home. They do have some tables for eat in, but ambiance is not their forte. It is really a "take out". I usually get the combination of entree with fried rice and vegetable spring roll. Service is quick in person and if order over phone usually ready when you get there. Been going over a year 2 or 3 times a month and only one time was it bland. Never was it over seasoned. Maybe I am just a good ole boy, but I like the food there.

Here's the deal. It's a friendly neighborhood take-out Chinese spot. You know what to expect every time and you won't be disappointed. I have never had to wait longer than quoted and the food is yum. Enjoy!

Enough said, it's bad. But honestly, with a name like china wok, i am sure you already got the hint. Super greasy, cramped, hot and humid. Typical chinese takeout. A lot of msg and such. Come if you do not care to harm your health.

Our favorite place for take out! You can eat there too, but I wouldn't because the tables are usually sticky. It's a great place for a big meal, though, and they are very friendly! They sometimes give us discounts because their children are in my moms practice and we've been going there so long!

China Wok is pretty run of the mill, maybe on the higher end of that when you consider it's genre and our location. I say you can't go wrong with the General Tso's (extra spicy) and the dumplings. The Mooshu isn't half bad either. You can definitely go wrong here though, so steer clear of anything that could easily go awry.

Chinese take-out. Quick service. It's pretty typical for this type of restaurant.

It's the best place I've found on the island and they rank second compared to the other Chinese places I've had in the Lowcountry. The lady that takes my order is always very friendly. When I tell her my order over the phone, she always knows it's me and knows how I customize my dishes. She also throws in free treats for me too (no, not just fortune cookies), which is pretty awesome. The restaurant is not so much sit-down friendly, although there are seating. This is a good take-out spot though.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
