This Bonefish Grill is relatively new, but it doesnt mean the quality is bad. My mom loves Bonefish Grill and they dont have one where she lives so when she came to visit me, she demanded that we made a stop here. We arent often on the same page when it comes to food but I have to admit her choice was not disappointing. I ordered Bang Bang Shrimps. It's appetizer but big enough to make me full. Not too full though because we need to leave some space left for dessert, right? The shrimps were big, and juicy. I love vegetable so I wish they have a little more "green" on the bottom. But hey, they did a good job. My dad ordered some kind of tacos. They were decent, according to him, but pretty messy to eat. I mean, if a guy says that it's messy, it must be pretty messy haha. To end the meal, we had creme brulee. Geez, it was big. My parents and I were both very full but we couldnt resist adding another chin. Too much whipped cream, but it's just me. Whipped cream just isn't my cup of tea. The staffs were very nice and helpful. It was cold in the restaurant and when my mom asked if they could turn the air off for a little while, they nicely did. I like the place overall.

I don't think you can find anything open past 11 PM on a Saturday night in the Tri county as worthy as this restaurant. Misoyaki Chilean Sea Bass Wow! House salad and dressing what a delightful treat! And the crunchy bread and pesto...one of a kind. And all this walking in at 11:15 with the food in front of me in 15 minutes. The Ahi Tuna Sashimi has to be mentioned, better than some Sushi Restaurants....I'll be back.

Had a perfectly cook piece of salmon with a nice crispy crust. Sat at the bar and was well served by friendly staff. The cocoanut crusted shrimp appetizer was awesome too. Overall a great experience.

Had the Imperial Tilapia, it was great. We came in with a party of 30 and had a great experience. Our server was nice and kept the drinks coming all night. The other staff pitched in to help, all our orders came out hot and correct. Thanks for making my Nephew's graduation Dinner a night he will never forget.

Nice establishment and well informed staff. Really impressed how the waiting staff took orders without writing on a pad. Tried the smoked salmon appetizer and it was very good. Main course was the rainbow trout with a lemon butter glaze ($$) which was just as good. Whenever in the Charleston area again and have a craving for seafood, this will be on list of places to visit.

This was our first visit. Bang bang shrimp flatbread was delicious! Loved the bread as well I ordered one of the specials, and after a considerable wait, our food arrived. The only thing lukewarm on my plate (besides the plate itself) was the grilled shrimp. My steak, squash, and couscous were all cold. The service was good and all staff members were extremely nice.

Service is very very slow. Went twice for lunch. It took more than 45 minute to get the order. Salad one day, crab cakes another. The salad was good the crabcakes were disappointing. Food is generally good but not worth the long wait.

I consider myself somewhat of a freelance food critic; culinarily inclined! I ordered two cocktails which were excellent--the pomegranate and winter white! The service (during lunch) was pleasant and not intrusive! The Lily Salmon was ordered minimum medium, maximum med well and it arrived well. No biggie; they were picking up in business and it may have gotten away from them. But I sent it back, Salmons my favorite. When it returned it was perfect and paired well with the slaw! Oh, and the shrimp app was great too! Will return!!!

Food is good but service is horrible. We thought it was a one time thing but our last three visits have been terrible. 35 minutes for an appetizer and then we had to ask the hostess for flatware. Won't be coming back any time soon.

A solid 5 star experience. So what gives with the four stars? Skip to the end for the (few) negatives. Once we were seated we were given the rundown on the fish...it's fresh...delivered daily...picked over & approved by the chefs. We were given menus along with "daily specials". We didn't check out the drink menu. But couldn't decide which delicious fish option to try. We put in an order for "Bang Bang Shrimp" followed by our fish orders. The shrimp was wonderful, we waited a while (maybe 10 mins) for the second course & we definitely took our time with the app. We requested bread & it was served with a nice pesto/olive oil/Parmesan dip. My S/O ordered soup that we shared it was crab & corn soup. It was really good. My entree was served with cous cous & asparagus. The snapper was really good. My S/Os imperial tilapia was great. Our server was attentive & helped us make our final entree choices. We both had the perfectly cooked asparagus & he did not offer to share the succotash he quickly devoured. He got timely refills on his water. I say he did because he drank 5 glasses while I barely had 2. Service was indeed attentive. So...the negatives. The cous cous! I have never had hot Israeli cous cous. It was a weird texture & gummy to me. I was expecting the Mediterranean style. I think Israeli cous cous is better served cold or it was overcooked...I am not an expert, but I was disappointed. Apparently the manager has to explain the cous cous fairly often. Just add the word "Israeli" to the menu. No matter the name, I'd steer clear of it. The portions were perfect portion control, yet small for the price. 2 waters, 2 entrees, 1 app, soup ($2) with entrees was $65.00, $72.00 with tip. Is it too much to expect that price would come with a larger portion? Last and (really) least $2 for a soup or salad with an entree? Really? See entree prices, I can't get a little Caesar salad with that? Would I go back? Duh, yes! Everything was delicious...almost everything that is. This makes an impressive date night for a light, delicious, satisfying dinner.

We were so disappointed... When we walked in it was inviting and the decor was nice and that is where the two stars come from. My mother ordered their fish n chips and I ordered their lobster grilled cheese sandwich that came with lobster bisque and a mixed greens salad. We waited for quite a while despite the fact there were only 3 other small parties during their lunch hour. When our food we just frowned. My mother's fish n chips where heavily battered and saturated with oil making one of the most enjoyable parts of fish n chips inedible. She only ate the scarce amount of fish that was among the greese. My grilled cheese had a burnt exterior with a semi warm interior. I had the sense that it had been sitting. The mixed green salad was old. I could visibly see with edges of the leaves going bad and the integrity of the leaves where gone. Moving to the lobster bisque that resembled tomato soup had no essence of lobster at all. I understand the grilled cheese and tomato soup concept, but if that is the case the call it that and please due justice to a classic. I had such high hopes because everyone had rave reviews and my mother's previous experience was pleasant. My mother has crossed this place off her list, at least for lunch.

Salty, overly sauced, and the service is not the best. I'm very disappointed to have to pay the bill.

Food is over priced for what you get. The wait staff seemed annoyed and un-attentive.

This was my first time to Bonefish. Our table was very small and the tables are too close together. Their attempt to get as many people seated as possible. The tables were so close that people and servers couldn't function efficiently. They would all bottleneck just to let one person pass and it was a constant traffic jam. My food came out cold which is no surprise considering our server probably got stuck in the traffic jam and had to wait. I was surprised how quick they got my food back out to me. That's a definite plus considering it usually comes out after my husband has finished his meal. Food was typical for a chain. Not sure I would go back but I haven't ruled it out.

Late Friday night visit due to delayed flight. Great atmosphere and service. Given the staff were about ready to go home, they were attentive and smiling. The food was exceptionally good, given that I have used Bonefish before, this was sumptuous. First class chain restaurant with an ever changing specials menu.

Went tonight finally and had a great meal. Started with an appetizer of ceviche which was amazing. Then had a Mahi Mahi entree cooked in the Asian sauce with a side of asparagus and the au gratin potatoes. Finished with pumpkin creme brûlée Overall for two people and two beers a piece it came in at only $75 which I was surprised as I was expecting to pay more. I will most definitely return for more !!

I usually try to avoid chain restaurants in favor of privately owned establishments, but Bonefish Grill was definitely a pleasant surprise. My husband and I stopped by after work for mid-week Happy Hour. All of the appetizers were very tasty and I loved the attractive, yet laid back atmosphere. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of Happy Hour drink specials, though.

Food is decent, pretty standard for this type of chain restaurant. They had some unique mixed drinks though. Don't remember what I ordered but it had an orchid floating in it and was quite tasty. The waitress was excellent, sweet and polite.

We stopped in there for lunch today and it was fantastic! The food was great and the service is top notch and it is very affordable! I had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos with Parmesan fries and my husband had the Po Boy and both were phenomenal. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area.

Really???? Had a piece of plastic or something in my water that I sucked up my straw. All The manager said was, "We'll get you a fresh glass of water." I had nothing to gain because my company bought supper! Food was good but the manager sucked!

Wonderful food & drinks! The Bang Bang Shrimp a must! As well as the Lobster tails. But the white Mango Sangria was very good along with the Frozen Margarita! Can't go wrong eating here!

If it wasn't for the great service I would give this place 2 stars. I had made reservations for a group of 20 and almost 30 people showed up. The manager and staff jumped through hoops to seat everybody together which was awesome. If was the manager I would have been pissed but they got the job done with a smile on their faces. But things went down hill from there. The wait time for food was long and for at least 7 members of my party, the food was sub-par. As for myself, I ordered the fish and chips. The fish had zero flavor what-so-ever and that was disappointing because the dish looked great. The chips were your run of the meal French fries that were just as flavorless as the fish. The prices were decent as I paid $35.00 for my meal and my kid's meal (which he hated by the way). The place was clean and had nice décor but the food sucks. Don't think I will be coming back.

I'm glad that Bonefish came to Charleston. The North Charleston Convention Center needed a place like this. I went here for my birthday and it was pretty crowded from the grand opening. All the food was good. Everything came out in a timely manor even as busy as they were. I'll go back again. The loss of one star is attributed to the expensive martini menu. The martini prices were very high and they gave you very little in a very little glass. Even the glass was small and when they give the drink to you it is like half full? Fill the thing up or get a smaller glass (not sure if they can get smaller). Everyone that was at this dinner enjoyed their meals. Other than that the place is pretty solid.

Visited the North Charleston location last night while enjoying a weekend vacation in the area. They were pretty busy for a Sunday night but we didn't have to wait for a table. I really enjoyed the atmosphere (low lighting, chill music, able to talk at the table without feeling like everyone else could hear our conversation!). I ordered the red Sangria (delish) and a hypnotic martini (so good!). Hubby has his usual screwdriver. The bread with olive oil and pesto was a good way to start the meal. I ordered the crab cakes with red remoulade (very tasty and perfectly cooked). Hubby had the sirloin (he was not impressed). Both of us had the garlic mashed potatoes and succotash for sides. They were both just okay. The 4 stars is mainly for the drinks and cool atmosphere. Steak was a letdown (weird consistency and over cooked) but I did enjoy my meal. I also enjoyed that the prices were very reasonable. Our table of two with 4 drinks and entrees came to $50. We would definitely consider going again if we're back staying in North Charleston.

I live near the coast and have been in Food & Beverage in the past, and understand what to expect when it comes to food quality and service. And I would consider myself somewhat forgiving when I experience or notice issues. In a nut shell...Went there on a Friday. They were busy. We had a 6 top. We were seated and greeted and started at the table just fine and our waitress was pleasant, professional and experienced. It was somewhat hectic in there and seating is tight, but that was okay. The problems began after the appetizers with the entrees taking a long time to arrive. When they finally did, one dish was missing and my food was cold. Both the rice and the fish was tasty but cold. I understand that happens, but I don't understand what happened after that. Our waitress more or less turned a cold shoulder to our table. She offered the absolute minimal amount of service to our table. No one was complaining, I just think that she knew there was an issue, and she didn't want to address it, and she just wanted to turn that table and be done. She didn't ask how things were, or if there was anything that she could get us, or if we wanted more drinks, or bother removing all of the dirty plates. She could have changed the situation, but her conscious actions pretty much ruined that dinner and our mood. Unfortunate that a rude waitress can ruin a meal. Hopefully the restaurant will straighten those issues out. But I probably won't venture up to N Charleston again very soon. There are a lot more coastal restaurants that know how to prepare food and serve it, and understand that returning customers are more important than turning a table one particular night.

Went today for dinner during happy hour. Great service at the bar! 4-5 bartenders slinging drinks nonstop and never missed a beat. Corn chowder and crab soup was very good. Warm toasty bread with oil and pesto dip also on the money. Had surf and turf on the grill, also very good. 2 drinks. Less than $50 all in. Excellent value, cheery service, I will return.

Good vibe, quite atmosphere, nice bar and patio. Just a tap overpriced. Must try the crab cake there and the seabass... both awesome. Not kid friendly unless your kid is well behave and have table manner!

The atmosphere is very relaxed. The menu is reasonably priced so why can't they get the service level right? Is it because of the location? First order was water no lemon. They got it wrong. Second was table no booth. Sorry we are saving there table for a bigger party. Really? We are a party of 5 and the table sits 6. So, as we sit in our booth watching 3 empty tables of six chairs I wonder. With this service will I ever come back here. And the question was answered when they sat a party of 5 at the table we requested. The customer service is terrible. Will not be back.

I went to try their famous soup and they didn't have anymore they had run out so I tried their shrimp that is one of their specialty plates and it wasn't that good. The shrimp was fried but they put a sauce and it makes it turn soggy. I had the fish and chips for my main course the fish was moist it was tasty could tell it was fresh the tartar sauce was good it tasted homemade.

I had the shrimp and scallops with the Mango Salsa and Jasmine Rice. It was very good. The service was very good, and my glass was never empty. There was a pleasant atmosphere. This is a save place to eat while traveling.

This wasn't the best dinner I've ever had. What was really frustrating is that they seemed to have poorly managed the transition to their fall menu. I first tried to order their grouper which was out but I wasn't too upset by that because it's the daily special and they likely get a limited quantity. However then I tried to order soup and they had no soup! None of either kind. That's just poor planning. My server, Rachel, was nice and apologetic about the fact they didn't seem to have half the menu available. The staff obviously wasn't keeping up to date on what was available because she kept coming back to me and telling me they were out. If this happens to a customer a few times comp them!!! I ate my entire meal wondering if this level of incompetence was normal. I ended up ordering their scallop special which was good. The scallops didn't seem super fresh but were adequate and only slightly over cooked. The risotto was uninspiring but executed fine. The house salad I had was surprisingly good. The dressing was well balanced and the toppings complimented each other well. I'm not sure if I'll come back here. On one hand it's some of the best food you can get near the airport but on the other hand they were pretty frustrating.

I have ate at a few different Bonefish's and yet this one disappointed me a little. I remembered the food being phenomenal and here didn't add up to my expectations. I had the ceviche appetizer, crab cakes, and strawberry shortcake. Everything was decent, however, the shortcake was very hard. Although my experience was only mediocre, our server (James) was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive and always made sure our drinks were refilled.

Start your meal with the Bang Bang Shrimp and you cannot go wrong. Unfortunately they were out of the grouper the last two times I dined there. The atmosphere is great and if you have young children it is probably not the place for you as it is a more mature setting. Some of the menu items are a bit pricey, but I have never had a bad meal here.

We came to see Bernie Sanders's really at the convention center across the street and guess who came and sat behind us for dinner. Oh Yes he did! They start by giving you fresh baked fluffy bread and olive oil. No complaints here. Chilean Sea Bass. This dish is pricier than the others but worth every penny. It's a mouth watering, flaky, buttery dish. Every bit made me smile. Corn chowder and lump crab soup . This has some bacon in it and it was ok. It was very creamy but not my favorite chowder at all. I won't get it again but that's fine, you can't love it all. Bang bang shrimp. I am told this is what most folks come for and I could see why. It's not quite spicy, not quite sweet. in a creamy spicy sauce that was almost like a sweet curry to me. It was served on a bed of lettuce and piled high in a bowl. I'd love dig into this again on my next visit. I got a blood orange drink and I did not like it at all. It was too sour and overpowering. Won't get this one again either. Overall this place has a great decor, very elegant and modern. Expect to pay $15-20 per person but you won't be disappointed by the dishes. I will have to come back and try more options to update my review. I need to see more dishes I love than rather skip next time.

Bonefish is one of the newer restaurants near the Convention Center and Tanger Outlets. Although it's a chain, I'd never eaten at a Bonefish so I was excited to try it for the first time. I opted to sit outside since it was a nice day, and I'm not sure I'd do this again. A lot of us were outside, but definitely think hard about it at certain times of the day, because it's near the airport and planes fly overhead. This happened several times during my visit. For lunch, I ordered the Florida Cobb salad and opted to add grilled shrimp. My salad came out a bit funny- it comes out in a little tube with a plate, and the server plates it in front of you. It contained 5 very large grilled shrimp, which were seasoned and cooked well. I also substituted the blue cheese for feta cheese and my order was correct. The salad was tasty and the ratio of toppings-to-greens was fine, but some of the lettuce was iceberg and it was not the best quality salad for the money. I liked the dressing and it was the right amount, I didn't have to ask for more like I have had to at some restaurants. The salad was a bit pricey for lunch (it was $13.30 after tax, not including tip), but the service was the deal breaker. My server never refilled my water. I would have much rather had more water on a warm day than a salad plating. I waited a long time for the server to come out to check on me so I could ask for my check. I was on a tight schedule, so I had my card out to pay as soon as she dropped it off so I could head out, but she dropped it off and immediately turned around and left (I waited a little longer). With the service and the abundance of seafood restaurants in Charleston, I wouldn't go out of my way for Bonefish

I have always loved Bonefish, but had not yet been to this location. I dined at the bar, and was fairly pleased with my drinks and food. However, one bartender's Cosmo was far superior to the other bartender's. The bad making cosmo bartender was not friendly, and awkward. I was disappointed in her approach. The place was crowded and busy, so it looks like others are enjoying. I think that this Bonefish can do better. They should ensure that all employees are well trained.

Visiting from San Diego and this was the closest place to the hotel. Was seated upon arriving. The bread and pesto was on point! Had the Miso marinated Chilean sea bass that was cooked and served perfectly, slighty seared yet flakey. The miso wasn't overbearing and the hint of giner was a joy. Hope our wait-staff ensured that we didn't wait; very attentive and professional. We were met by an after dinner down poor the likes never seen on the west coast. The staff gave us an umbrella and followed us out to the car to retrieve it! Quite the class act!

This was my first dining experience at Bonefish Grill. As I entered I noticed right away that the ambience was of a higher caliber than most restaurants in their price range. Our waitress was outgoing, friendly, and timely with refills and orders. The table shared the Bang Bang shrimp (which is, as a lot of folks have said, AMAZING!!), and the tilapia with mango salsa and steamed vegetable medley (the veggies were still crunchy which I love!!) my husband had the Ahi Tuna, which was absolutely delicious!! One of the best places we've eaten at in a while! Stop reading and go! Go right this second!!!

If you can't make a good first impression, then make a lasting one... It was not great. Bonefish is a kind of high end, Outback Steakhouse style, seafood restaurant. Our service was fast, and efficient. That, however, is all that it was. It was not great. Our food was good, but it was not memorable. Except for my husband's dinner. Which was sadly VERY, VERY memorable. He ordered the salmon and it was loaded with pin bones! As a matter fact, he nearly choked on one before realizing that the kitchen didn't bother to remove the bones from his fillet. When he explained this to the waitress she said that salmon contained bones and he simply needed to be very careful while he was eating it, and pick through his fillet flake by flake. Holy Hake, Batman, really!!?!! Once he did pick through his $28 (6 ounce) gastronomic landmine, he had collected 17 pin bones. He showed them to the waitress who again just brushed him off and didn't even bother to send over the manager after we asked twice to see him or her. Perhaps the manager was just too chicken to talk to us....? I have worked as a chef internationally, for over 20 years, and I know how to take EVERY SINGLE DAMNED pin bone out of a salmon. I have spent a great many years working on the penninnsulla of Downtown Charleston as well: If you work downtown and leave bones in your salmon it's tantamount to a cardinal sin! No one should ever find a bone in any piece of fish in any restaurant, period, end of story. The place is, however, called Bonefish; so perhaps it is a theme thing. So my experience consist of: ok service, ok food, and a lack of expertise in de-boning salmon in a seafood restaurant! I will never ever return to Bonefish.

I'm not a fan of national chain restaurants, but I learned long ago when High Maintenance and pal Patty Cake want to go someplace... The operative language includes... 'Yes,dear', 'Sure' and 'Sounds Like a Good Idea'. Easy parking, place was full, we were seated very promptly and with courtesy. Menus and specials were handed to us, then the waiter went on with an endless description of the specials, drinks and a Two Person (minimum) Valentine Special... Mine was Shrimp Pad Thai and an IPA draft. High Maintenance selected a nice shrimp salad plate/bowl. Patty Cake went for the small grilled salmon and a wedge salad.... Everything was served quickly and was as expected. The wedge was especially generous... More like the entire head of lettuce, with tomato and extra dressing. The only hiccup was my beer and it was my fault. I didn't read the beer list carefully.... The IPA Draft was actually a 24 oz. bottle-- as stated when I looked again at the menu. When I mentioned that I expected a mug/glass not a bottle which resembled a 750mm wine bottle, the waiter offered to bring something else. Since it was my mistake and I wanted an IPA I kept it and it was quite enjoyable. With a name like Fantasia it had to be good. Our bill was correct and handled quickly. Our waiter did a good job and answered our questions well. Restrooms and waiting area were clean and fresh. Overall Bonefish Grill was a good experience.

I'm a chain guy. I eat at them all the time. I like that I can go to one and order the same thing and never worry about it. Bonefish just doesn't do it for me. This location is better than some of the others, but it still just doesn't rock my socks off. This location just opened with a cool decor and fairly attentive staff. Good vibes all around. I went with a group of 10-12 for an after-work thing, and none of us really got blown away by any aspect. Our poor waitress did her best to care for us, but a few of us ran into forgotten refills or empty glasses. The appraisers that we ordered were good, and the Bang Bang shrimp was epic. This review isn't fair. I'm sorry. Bonefish isn't my thing. Those who like Bonefish will surely enjoy this location. For me, I'll stick to something else.

We have always had great meals at Bone Fish, so were excited to get one in Charleston, SC. After several trips without any issue, our last trip was a little shocking. Our waiter did not want to be working that night, and not one we had seen before. For example, My wife ordered a martini and once it finely arrived, it looked like the top 1/3 had been spilled off. The taste was good, but when our waiter asked to place an order for another one, both my wife and I asked if our waiter would ask the bartender to fill up the martini glass. The waiter's response..."I DON'T MAKE THEM, I JUST SERVE THEM". Well I don't know if he said anything to the bartender or not, but the top 1/3 of the martini was missing again. I regret not mentioning the incident to management.

The lobster tails are tender, flavorful and served properly with drawn butter. They are excessively priced at $27 but reason enough to go here if for some reason you are in the neighborhood, have a craving and money to burn (I don't think this combination will ever happen again for me.) House wine is ~$3.50 at happy hour. Got mildly scolded by the waiter for also ordering a split of champagne at the same time. Apparently there is a Bonefish rule about having two glasses of wine in front of a patron simultaneously. Tried the bang bang shrimp - overhyped. My friend enjoyed her shrimp pad Thai but I thought it was way too sweet. The service was a bit overbearing, contrary to what I have read here. It was raining and the manager was offering to walk patrons to their cars under an umbrella. Really nice.

My daughter took me here at 5:00 pm Sat with my 2 grandchildren. Very busy. High end place, great food...but.... Waited 15 minutes to get seated. Once seated , no one, came to our table for over 20 minutes. Finally, went and asked at the front desk, why. Was told sorry and sent someone over to the table right away. He said there was a mixup and that he would take our drink order for the waitress. When he came back, he said that he will just stay as our server. The question that popped into my mind was, was he already our server who forgot us? In any event, he was very accommodating from that point on. The manager came over, apologized, comped our drinks and appetizers. I was very happy that they realized their mistake and tried to make it right. I will go back, great food for a chain. Frank G

Looking for a place to meet friends for dinner and drinks (not to be confused with drinks and a snack) that was centrally located between Goose Creek and Mt. Pleasant without going downtown. We decided on Bonefish Grill. We wrapped up final exams and another semester, so time to celebrate. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The menu was well-balanced and all the choices were delicious. I started with the watermelon salad, and it was sprinkled with feta cheese crumble, so yummy. I ordered a combo with grilled shrimp and scallops cooked to perfection, and the shrimp were generously sized. A friend discovered a free appetizer on fb so we started with bang bang shrimp with a tangy creamy sauce on the side. Delicious. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was friendly, current, and welcoming. The price range was moderate, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. I will definitely return to Bonefish Grill.

This is one of the newer restaurants near the Tanger Outlets. I came here for the very first time and was pleased. Nice setting. Nice open bar area with big screens and seating outside to enjoy the nice weather. It was a slow night so service was friendly and we received our orders in just under 20 minutes. I ordered the Tilapia Imperial, stuffed with shrimp and crab meat. Was a great dish. I see what the hype is all about. Not sure I would dine on a busy night though. Since Bonefish is highly talked about I would think the quality and service may not be as good when it's crowded. Great experience nonetheless.

Bonefish Grill North Charleston is new to the area. I've actually never dined here before this location opened. After discovering, we have actually dined here quite a few times. The services is always great. You can tell they are run by corporate policy because we hear the same schpeel every time. That's ok though, it gives great consistincy and we know what to expect when we walk in the door. Wednesdays you can get the delicious Bang Bang Shrimp app for $6. These are lightly fried shimp tosted in a creamy sauce with a zesty spice. I love them! Definitely try the Shrimp and Scallor entree. You get a skewer of each and two sides. The pumpkin ravioli are delicious and topped with fried onion and sage. They may be a seasonal dish so get them while they're in.

You can almost never go wrong at Bonefish Grill. Their selection of fish is always cooked to perfection. The Charleston location didn't disappoint. On top of the discounted Bang Bang Shrimp, our server Kimberly was fantastic.

Terrible for groups! Our business group of 18 people chose this place for a group dinner. The only place they could reserve for us was in the bar, and couldn't even move the tables together, so we were broken up into 3 separate groups. Because of this, we had 3 separate wait staff with varying levels of service and miscommunication among the servers regarding appetizers and wine purchased for all 3 tables. It was just a confusing mess. Our server took our wine order 3 times! Yes, 3 times! Each time she came back to tell us they were out of the bottle we'd chosen. The blame always landed on the bartender, but nevertheless, from a customer standpoint it really felt like the left foot didn't know what the right foot was doing, and that they were not equipped well to handle groups...despite our accepted reservation in advance. The topper was when one person at our table never received his dinner. We were on to dessert, and his dinner had still not arrived. Our server apologized, and they quickly got him a dinner. We waited for him to eat, and left. I would not return with a group...ever.

Food is terrific!! I loved the parmesan crusted tilapia. Friendly staff and good food made our experience well spent. The only thing that really bothered us was once couples and families were finished eating.. The tacky construction paper that covered the tables was removed and waiters inspected the tables with flash lights to clean any grease. They spent several minutes with flashlights while every customer watched with confusion and uncomfort. Its embarrassing to be out in public and your table is covered in transparent grease.

Ordered take out BFG tacos today. Huge disappointment. I ordered the grilled chicken and the fries and after reading reviews expected something delicious. What I received was a small portion of chicken (less than a breast) and no fries. I'd ordered them over the phone and was told it would take 20 minutes. So, I arrived 20 minutes later and STILL had to wait 20 minutes. I can understand if it had been busy, but seriously it wasn't. Overall, not a great experience and it'll take a lot to convince me to eat there again.

So close to 5 stars except for some fundamental things... Pros: - every item was done well and very tasty (mussels, mushroom ravioli side, lobster stuffed shrimp, calamari, lobster BLT, even the bread was nice and fresh). - server was pleasant as could be while he was busting ass also serving a 12 top and a few other tables. Looked to be the only server for the room with a few runners to assist. - price was reasonable for the quality and atmosphere. Sans 4 cocktails, bill would have been roughly $58. Cons: - had to request bread ..after the 2nd app came out. (Lobster stuffed shrimp and mussels -- 2 highly bread-marrying worthy items!) - had to request water refills when 2 water glasses had been sitting empty for a while, and after another drink was delivered. - 3-4 different runners brought our items, be it apps or more drinks, without taking away the empties, which sat there pretty much till the check came. - my sister joined just as we got our 2nd app, but she never got her own roll up. Luckily roll ups come with 2 forks, and the limes for my drink were brought on a bread plate. She did get a water. Staff was pleasant, the gentleman from Senegal even remembered my phone they charged for me in the back. As good as the food was, it would be stellar if the service was right up there too. Easily achievable with a little bit of teamwork. There was enough wandering staff to help make that happen. Luckily the food was super awesome

Other locations have been excellent. This one not so much. Cold food. Wrong order. Waiter even took steak off my plate to confirm I knew difference between sirloin and filet!!!!

We took to the first come, first serve seating near the bar, great spot to view the big game on the screens over the bar - which we did. Our server didn't seem to have it together initially- not cleaning the table before taking and bringing our drinks, he later also forgot to change out an undesired veggie dish but he was cool overall giving us some insight about portion sizes and other suggestions that saved us $. Atmosphere is chill, relatively quite and dark (romantic - if that's your thing ), meals were great.

I really enjoyed my meal. I had the grilled salmon with mango sauce with steamed green beans. I was disappointed they didn't have a true side salad to go with my meal. But my server Mary was really great and put me some lettuce in a small soup bowl so I could have my pre-dinner salad. I also had the Key Lime Pie for desert. It was a slice big enough for two people to share,or one person to indulge themselves. The best thing was that I left the Bonefish Grill full, but not stuffed. Customer service was very good. My server Mary knew her menu inside and out. Apparently the Bang Bang Shrimp is very good. I got text messages and facebook chat all about them. I'll have to try that next time. Oh yeah, Wednesday is half priced Bang Bang Shrimp. Can't beat that.

The fish tacos were absolutely amazing. However the portions have gone down since they opened. Used to love this place but they are getting stingy. You have to ask for the bread instead of it being brought out. The bang bang shrimp is still great. Service was wonderful. All around great place just not sure if its worth the price. Desserts were definitely waaay overpriced and totally not worth it. Tried the macadamia brownie and creme Brule. The brownie was worse then out of a box from walmart.

Bonefish... I am thinking if they weren't following the current Outback project model they could be a great place. Everything is just OK. Nothing is over the top or great. The service is just there and doing their job but not making me feel welcome or wanting to return.

Very disappointed! Been to Bonefish but first time for this one. Food was good but service was not good. Had to wait 30 minutes for waitress to get another glass of wine and then she quickly left not asking anyone else if they needed anything. Much too crowded into table with no elbow room (table of 6) and too close to other tables. Noise level so high we could not hear each other speak.

The food was tasty. The Pecan Crusted Rainbow Trout was amazing. The veggies were very under seasoned but that's my only complaint.

The bread and pesto they bring out at the beginning is perfect. I got the corn chowder with crab and bacon and it was good. But, what makes this 5 stars, besides the bread and pesto I can sum up in three words: Bang Bang Shrimp! Holy Cow! I immediately looked up recipes for it on Pinterest, when we were done eating. The shrimp is very lightly fried, not a bread-coated, deep-fried shrimp - a lightly fried version that gives it just a slight crunch and then the coating they put over it - amazing! We could have just filled up on that and the bread and called it a day.
