Amazing low country food! There is not much spectacular about the ambiance of the place as I found it on the inside but the outside patio area looked really cool I must say. My family and I ate inside though so that's where my perspective on this experience came from. They have a big open view window of the marsh wich at sunset is pretty catching as we found it. My family and I of 6 people came here about 6pm on a Saturday night after looking up places with local SC flare you cant get other places. This seemed a legit pick. I got the salmon chowder and shrimp gumbo. Both were amazingly good and full of authentic flavor in every bite! Portions are more then adequate as well. I should mention they serve warm hush-puppies by the basket during your whole meal and this can easily make a meal of themselves they are so good! Think of a cake style donut hole with some spice to it and your spot on! The chowder was thick, creamy, rich and full of salmon hints and even some chunks of real salmon meat to boot! This from a guy who almost always avoid cream based soups in favor of broth based versions to! The gumbo was massive for one! Lots of well seasoned spicy red rice. Well cooked okra, corn, peppers, onions and tomatoes all topped off with an abundant stack of seasoned grilled shrimp. I left the table feeling very full, very pleased and very happy with my check as well. My meal was $23 without tip or drink. Most people wont be able to finish a meal this size but I am one of those who eats well beyond the normal guy lets say. Service was great, meals were brought out quickly and overall we had a great experience of low country southern food!

Ate here during a trip for my daughters grad from USMC Parris island. I did expect a bit more from this place, but i came out stuffed nonetheless. too much fried not enough blackened seafood, still didnt keep me from ordering fried though (bad bad Star, slapped my own wrist). LOVED the crab/shrimp dip. LOOOOVED the Cypress Swamp Water cocktail. cool interiors. service was ok, not bad. Didnt feel need to go back with other eateries with larger selections around. convenient location to our hotel.

Really enjoyed the view that we had by sitting near a window, and the aquarium beside us was also really interesting. We were seated relatively quickly, and everyone seemed friendly. Our food was just "okay" though... nothing really special. I felt as though we could have received better quality food for what we paid. The dessert & the drinks from the bar were very good as well. (Peanut Butter Pie & a lemonade with bourbon & Sweet Tea Vodka)

Great seafood and if you can (meaning you should or your kids will remind you that you should have) get a booth and have kids they will love the fish tanks. The food is well priced and the customer service is always friendly. Give them a try and dont drive on by! The place doesn't by any means look brand new but the good out weighs the negatives in this tiny town of Beaufort.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I'm writing this in my car as I just left this place! I proceeded to sit at the bar, no bartender to be seen. I watched 2 waitresses and what appeared to be a manager walk by me more that once and go in the kitchen without a word said. I'm not a patient person but at least say someone will be with you in a minute. After over 5 min I left! Piss poor to say the least! I'll take my money elsewhere!

Was this blow you away fantastic? Nope but it was good and the food was fresh. I had the crab cakes with sides of streamed brocoli and fried green tomatoes. It was all good They give you a hush puppy appetizer as well. The price was what I would expect for fresh seafood. While I may not go back while I'm here visiting, it was an interesting place to stop and eat. Loved sitting by the windows and watching the herons on the marsh while I ate.

How is this place still open?? The food is terrible, over cooked and very greasy!! The soup was so bad I could stand a spoon up in it.. This is just terrible. Nothing the the one in charleston!!

The entire experience was amazing, from our server to our food. We had a 4 person dinner party and the entire meal was full of each person raving about the food. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the view was great. I would recommend this place to everyone and will be coming back my next trip to Beaufort.

The food was okay and a bit overpriced for the quality. I ordered the low-country stir fry. It took 45 minutes to arrive at the table and it was lukewarm. The flavor was okay -- nothing special.

I'm not going to say it was the greatest place ever, but was definitely better then expected. I really enjoyed hours the service here, they were patient and kind. Definitely on spot and attentive! The appetizers were a great start and there were free hush puppies. The seafood was great and will most likely eat there again in the future, great service with pretty good food.

I went here for dinner and wasn't fully satisfied. The appetizer was pretty good and the hush puppies were great! The waitress was super nice and attentive. The meal however is why they only get three stars...my crab-cakes were ok not great just ok...my boyfriends main course was good ...the sides however were AWFUL! Grilled asparagus and a baked potato...both were obviously microwaved and wilted and gross. I then ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it was so thick with syrup i took two sips and thought my tongue would fall off from the sweetness...the manager comped my meal so at least there was that. If u go here do not order the asparagus!

Had a wonderful dinner with hubs here! Love how they have aquariums next to the booths! Definitely an eyeful. Hun had the blackened honey salmon that he enjoyed and I got the shrimp and grits that were absolutely delicious and it came in a huge plate! Was only able to finish half but happy I got leftovers to take home. The hush puppies are addicting!
