Slow. Other than that, a great experience. Cash only. Food isn't life changing but it is good and the atmosphere is really the selling point. The family is very nice, take a little time one morning. Have a sweet tea and some pancakes and enjoy all of the horse racing history on the walls.

The place for breakfast. Cooked to order food so it can be really slow service. Don't go here if you are in a hurry. Help your self to your drinks and order at the counter tradition of Aiken history sit all you want and chat with friends and read the paper. Super casual. Race track staff eats here.

This is not an accurate rating of service or food. Today (7/21/2015) couldn't eat here because it was closed....... for the summer according to a local horse woman that we met. We will try again, but thought we'd mention it here. Would have loved to try it.

I loved the summer camp mess hall feel. A lot of history in this place. Great food made from some great folks. They really put a lot of love into their food and make you feel like family.

Awesome breakfast! They are open 7am to 1pm. Worth the wait. Order at the counter. Help yourself to water & coffee in the kitchen. Lot's of horse history on the walls. Very friendly. It's an experience you need to experience! Don't be in a hurry. I had 2 eggs over medium, grits and country ham, and it was delicious! Afterwards walk around to check out the stables, or drive over to the Training Track and check out more horses there after breakfast! A must to in Aiken!

It is what it is. A great experience at the Aiken Training Track. Have a nice breakfast...order at the counter, go back behind the counter to get your own coffee....finish breakfast then back behind the cow her again so you can pay. Then go behind to the track to see if any of the horses are running. It's an experience you shouldn't miss if you are in Aiken.
