Rebecca came in and baked a carrot cake for a special family birthday gathering for us and I have to say that as a carrot cake aficionado, this was hands down the best cake we have EVER had. First we marveled at how heavy it was (sure sign of a rich, dense cake) and then at how fabulous it tasted. Then things started to deteriorate when we started fighting over the leftovers ---- for breakfast. Seriously, these are some good eats!

I popped into Noble Breads and Grocer yesterday when I decided to visit Aiken. I'd heard about the cookies and sandwiches here, so I had to make it a stop. Must pay attention to the signage, I almost missed the spot. The staff was nice. I walked in at about 2pm and they seemed to be wrapping up from the lunch crowd. The store has a few grocery items, mostly holistic items, but they also sell breads, meat and yep, cookies. I didn't stay because I'd just eaten. I grabbed the chocolate chip, peanut butter and oatmeal raisin cookies. They keep them in a cooler (interesting), so I asked for my chocolate chip to be warmed. It was great. You could tell it was homemade. I ate the others later that night. I also enjoyed the peanut butter. The oatmeal raisin fell apart, so I at a few pieces. Overall, nice business.

this is a very unassuming place but very good food and pleasant staff, also the best carrot cake I've ever had. What a surprising find!

Super little family owned business. Best BLT in Aiken, super tomato pie too! Love that they use fresh healthy ingredients, non GMO or organic, nitrate free bacon and so on.

Come here for your organic and healthy food choices. A little bit market and a little bit lunch counter. Food is super fresh. Fresh made bread for take home or sandwich make there. All home made salads. Great homemade muffins and brownies. Come here for fermented drinks and organic meat and butter

Outstanding quality! Gluten free veggie sandwich pretty much rocked my world and did I mention chocolate brownie. The owner engaged us with numerous health tips and offered up a library of resources.

This is THE spot for lunch! A local shop, great food, very nice people and options for gluten free diets (especially the black bean brownies) - I highly recommend the chicken salad. And if you are looking for the best chocolate chip cookie, grab one on the way out!!!

Best Chicken Salad in Aiken!!! A great little place to grab some freshly baked bread and sweets, local jams, meats, and eggs. Their lunch menu is loaded with great eats! I'll be back.
