Friendly service, delicious spanakopita, high quality olive oil and incredibly fresh and juicy shrimp in red sauce. The pork sausage was very orangey and more fruit flavored than anything, not bad but different. The wine list was unique with a number of Greek wines. Having grown up with Greek relatives, this passes the authenticity test and I will be back.

We decided to order a carry out from work today. I loved the shrimp wrap appetizer and chicken soulvaki wrap with greek salad. My coworker liked her calzone. The staff is nice. The bathrooms are really nice too. I would give it a 5 but there was a small chicken bone I could have choked on in the chicken wrap. Luckily I felt it before I swallowed. That could have went badly! And they use styrofoam containers, not good.

The food really is tasty here - we usually come for an appetizer or two and a drink at the bar. Everything we've had has been great, and the staff is really knowlegeable about the traditional choices on the menu that we haven't seen before other places. I agree with the other reviewer that the exterior belies the cozy, pleasant atmosphere inside. Totally enjoyable spot!

A fine Greek restaurant. The attention to detail shows through at every point. The bar is well run and has a delightful selection of wines, beers, plus all of the cocktails you could want. The service is quick, attentive, and very friendly. Saving the best for last, the meals were fantastic. Maybe not as broad a selection as you might have in Athens, but the entrees were excellent, multi-layered and flavorful. For anyone thinking to try Greek cuisine, this is the place to go. Now for the details, at the bar we just had wine and beer, but I observed the other drinks being prepared, all were very good, and no cheating on the liquor. We had both the fried zucchini and the Estia calamari (feta and tomato) for appetizers. Just the right amount for the four of us, and both were very good. For entrees we had: the Greek pizza, which was extremely well prepared (a light crispy crust, with the right amount of toppings), the moussaka (with artichoke) which I really enjoyed, and the lamb with orzo, with enough of spice to give it flavor, but not too much. We did not have room for dessert, but will be back to try them. We absolutely loved the amount of attention we received.

When you go into a restaurant on a Wed Night at 7 pm and two people are at the bar and one table is taken in the dining room, a warning light goes off in your head. The salad was small, the soup sparse, the spinach pie, with little filling, was cold and the dough must have been put in a microwave and not flaky. My experience was different from the reviews listed?

Lived in South Kingstown for 8 years and I have not been here since it was "At My Uncles Pizza" From the outside it just looked like it was empty and we were guilty of judging a book by its cover. The truth is they curtain the windows and keep the inside dark so it has the illusion of not being frequented. According to the waiter the crowd is steady with lot's of returning customers. A good sign! We finally gave it a try and were pleasantly surprised. The inside was neat and clean, open and airy. The server was young and lacked the refinement of a proper waiter but his service was timely and he was always available. I found it a little odd that they served the bottle of wine already opened but that probably had to do with the age of the young waiter. This is the only place were you can order great traditional Greek food in our area. The menu offered many traditional Greek dishes. A refreshing change offering Greek wines. We all ate traditional Greek dinners and we were impressed enough to want come back for the pizza with our kids. Estia is priced well all across and the Red Velvet cake was outstanding. When you're tired of the usual South County Offerings, I recommed a trip to Estia it is well worth the trip!

I have lived in South County for 8 years, and have been going to Estia for maybe 3 or 4 years. It is our go-to cozy local spot for really good meals in a town full of pub food and fast food. I am a creature of habit and almost always order estia souvla or kabobs, but the daily specials have never disappointed, either. Tina makes the best mojito in the universe.

This place has great service and the food is soooo good! Try the dolmades and Greek coffee Frappe.

Service not proffesional just a few young girls trying to remember what you ordered. They ran out of milk so I couldn't get my 4 yr old her favorite drink. No mixed drinks with milk and no coffee or tea if you take those with milk. Placed order for 2 pizzas plus other food, waitress came back 5 minutes later and said they ran out of doe so they could not make any pizzas. Why a place can operate like this I dont understand at all. I dont come to narragansett to go to restaurants and have them run out of drinks and food. No pictures will be posted they do not deserve it. Do not eat here! F-

I've ordered take out from them twice for takeout and still wonder why. The Greek fries were sour and soggy. The pizza was poorly prepared and the pasta was smothered in a very distasteful sauce with minimal chicken. I had very high expectations with the enjoyable ambience but I was soon dissapointed.

I am afraid to say but this place really was a disappointment based on all the positive reviews and Four Star rating. The Spanakopita appetizer was miniscule for $6, half the size it should have been which wouldn't have been so bad had it not been burnt on the bottom, around the edges and totally lacking in flavor and virtually devoid of the traditional mix of ricotta and feta cheese. My Avgolomono soup was good but served lukewarm and I have certainly had far better. I chose Moussaka for my main course,it too was burnt on the bottom, around the edges and for $16, the portion size was completely ridiculous. I understand that the husband is in Greece for an extended period and perhaps that might have made the difference, sadly, I will never know as this place is off the list for the foreseeable and extended future.

Estia's is a great place to go. The food is wonderful and the people are always nice. I spent three weeks traveling throughout Greece and eating here reminds me of the taste that I ate throughout Greece. The weird thing is that the pizza I had in Greece was never that interesting, but the pizza here is tasty. There is an attention to food found here that isn't found in most restaurants in Wakefield. I gave Estia a four star review and would happily give it a five star, but there is something that is missing. I have eaten at Estia's a bunch of times and never had a bad experience. I will continue to return too. Strangely, I can't point to the thing missing. It could be that they don't serve pastitsio. One of my favorite Greek dishes :(

The pizza was good! The salad dressing was my favorite. The service left something to be desired. We will be back because we love that it is family owned but over an hour for pizza on Monday night is just a tad too much!

I love this place!! The food is absolutely delicious and I try to eat here as often as I am in the area. Would definitely recommend! The meze platter is essential.

I love this place. I am always surprised to see that it is always empty. My go to choice is the avgolemono soup, chicken souvlaki, and greek fries (crispy fries topped with lemon juice, feta, and oregano). The chicken souvlaki is always on a homemade fluffy pita. I love everything I have had there. The prices are a little high but I am glad to support a local restaurant with great food. Every time I have been there, I have had the same waitress. I believe she is the daughter of the owner, very friendly.

One of my favorite restaurants in south county. Authentic Greek food. Their marinated chicken over Greek salad is to die for. Good lamb, pasta and kabobs over rice. A nice mother and daughter family restaurant. A little pricy, but worth it. Nice atmosphere, very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I go there often for lunch and dinner .

I LOVE THIS PLACE. So much so I'm sad that I haven't reviewed them before! How had I forgotten!? This is, hands down, the best place for lamb ever. I go regularly for the lamb, and always get something with lamb because they consistently produce the most melt-in-your-mouth, mindblowingly delicious lamb dishes, no word of a lie. The lamb and orzo - tomato sauce with just a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon, plenty of cheese, and aforementioned luscious lamb - has become my definition of comfort food lately. And celebration food. And I-don't-want-to-cook-tonight food. And just-because food. I have had other things, and all the entrees I've tried are equally good - I'm just attached. Anyway. The service is always fast and quite good, and the staff is very friendly. I take anyone I want to impress with tasty dinner here, so. LAAAAAAMB.

Discovering this place was a happy accident. Excellent service and good food are never a bad thing. That was the experience here as well. I highly recommend the spanakopita and the souvlaki.

Went for dinner last night and the food and service were great! The owner's daughter waited on us, so this is definitely a family business. They have been at this location for eight years and the business is thriving. They started us with their nice toasted bread which was delicious Some of the best bread I have had in a long time..... !! We ordered the Greek Fries and they were crispy, hot and tasty. The gyro was very good and the pizzas were also top notch. Crust not too thick, on the thinner side....just how I like it. If you are in South County, give Estia a try. Affordable, good tasting, friendly !!

Went to Estia based on other reviews but find I'm in total disagreement. Food was ok. My app of greek sausage was presented in a very unappealing manner. Anybody hear of a garnish? my lamb and orzo was really beef and orzo. It's not hard to tell the difference. Again a bit of garnish? The server was so sweet that I didn't have the heart Having been to Greece I long for a traditional greek salad but some iceberg with a kalamata olive and some lame obviously bottled dressing doesn't come close. My wife did like her moussaka though. Overall a big disappointment

I've eaten here before and after a change in management, so my perception might not meet the quality of the current scene, which is quite good. I've mostly eaten the mezze here and enjoyed everything I've had, nicely paired with ouzo. Service had been quick and friendly. A touch pricey, but I think the quality lives up to it. As authenticity and dish quality go, however, this place doesn't match Greek that I've had in many other cities.

Estia is in my top three for takeout five minutes from my home, and I don't mean as a default choice but one of the few seriously good eateries in town. I've known the Estia restaurant family for years and as other reviews state, they do it right. Authentic Greek food cooked with care and attention to detail! Try everything on the menu, but especially when you need a pizza made from fresh dough which is their default every time (unlike other places in town). It's a simple formula: They're a family that's passionate about what they do and they want to treat YOU like family when you sit down to eat-the best!

Best pizza in South Kingstown. To a discerning pallet, you can taste the quality in the crust immediately. Super fresh, flavorful dough. Sauce was good, could have been a tad cheesier. La Strada in Matunuck has great pizza too, but I live in town and need food all year round. Cool little spot with modern decor. Wife and I ate at the bar. Place was clean, friendly, had a nice vibe. Good service. We'll be back!

The hostess/owner asked us if everything was ok after our meal(4 of us in party) we said yes. She then said she was concerned because we left a small tip.Her customers typically leave 15 %. (We had tipped 15% of total bill LESS the tax ) which, after later review at Emily post.com is confirmed as appropriate. We had "shorted" the "tip" by $2.12. We threw 2 bucks on the table and left,I'm hopin she responds to this post. I wonder if she will ask us to come back with the 12 cents. How rude . In 64yrs this is the most jaw-dropping dining experience I've ever had,. Oh my! (Other things occurred during our visit but u won't waste my time or yours with needless verbiage).food= good.

Not much from the outside, but a cozy little place on the inside, and the food is tasty and enjoyable. The service is pretty close to perfect -- friendly, helpful, and attentive but not cloying. I am looking forward to going back and trying more from their traditional menu. UPDATE: There is a pizza place in New York City in the UWS on Columbus Avenue -- Famous Ray's, or Ray's Famous, or something -- that serves slices of spinach pizza with heaping gobs of juicy spinach, enough to count as multiple vegetable servings, but manages to also have a crispy crust. How do they do it? Whatever the secret, Estia's has it, PLUS the spices are out of this world. Nothing overpowers, everything just blends and pops on your tongue. I am never ordering pizza from another place in South County again.

Had a nice dinner with the family here last night. We got an order of spanokopita to start off, which was very tasty. It was a crispy big slice of spinach, feta, and seasonings wrapped in phyllo. I ordered a souvlaki plate, which consisted of 5 or 6 large medallions of perfectly grilled pork, rice, onions, tomatoes, and grilled slices of pita. There was a generous ramekin filled with delicious tzatsiki. My wife and son the younger shared a chicken kabob platter which was just like mine except with chicken. Son the elder went off the Greek theme and ordered a burger. Silly 13 year old. But despite his affront to the Greek gods, the burger was damned good! It was freshly hand pattied, grilled to a beautiful medium-rare, and very delicious. The restaurant itself is very pleasant, clean, and affordable. I liked the atmosphere, which included pictures of scenes around Greece, plants, and wood and tile. It was simple but tasteful. Service was very good and friendly. All in all, we are looking forward to going back and trying some more authentic Greek food. Although I am very tempted to get a burger for myself.

My wife and I went there last night, it was very good, I must say I was impressed. The waiter was friendly and attentive, the food was well done and tasty. My 7 year old daughter went to the bathroom and came back saying, "That bathroom was really clean." lol I would recommend this to place to anyone who likes well made Greek food or Pizza.

We got a chuckle out of this "culturally diverse" little restaurant, which offers both Greek and Italian fare and plays Spanish music. The food was very good, as was the service. We really enjoyed the pizza. Great bread too!

Great spot for dinner - Greek and Italian fare! The pizza is great and they were very accommodating with my picky teenage daughter's order... Very clean, bathrooms are great, service excellent. Give them a shot if you are in South County.

This is one of the nicest little places in South County. It's attractive, quiet, well-appointed, and very clean. The food is very good, and I can find no faults with the service. It's a bit hard to spot if you don't know where to look, but once you find it you'll never forget.

Went tonight with a friend. We shared the first salad on the menu, a large greek salad of tomatoes, cukes, olives, onions & a large chunk of feta all dressed in vinegar and mint. It was very good. We each had a sandwich: gyro and souvlaki. The gyro was good but not outstanding. Same with the souvlaki. We also ordered a pizza (cheese and mushroom) that was solidly good. Estia is clean and tastefully decorated. The woman who served us was as sweet and attentive as can be. The prices are good and it is a good place to go for a casual meal. There is a nice selection of Greek wines.

Had a great experience here with 4 generations present - from 6 to 89 yrs old. We ordered calamari and a cheese dish that sounds like sukiyaki. We then had a greek salad to share and three different pizzas and a chicken parm sandwich. All the food was delicious and well prepared - no grease on any plates or pizza pans. The beers are competitively priced. We'll definitely come again the next time we're in town and the big kids who live locally said they'd be back regularly. Every person in our party had good things to say about the food and the service. Thanks Estia for being here in Wakefield for us. We'll be back.

I thought I was on a Greek Island for a minute....nice people, good prices and great food. I was surprised at how attentive they were and just loved the food and the interesting menu. Different in many ways and worth it.

14" Greek pizza with olives (serves 3-4 adults), salads, wings, soup, sangria; we tried a little of everything and it was ALL excellent! Clean food and dining rooms, nice ambiance, polite and professional waitresses, well-timed food delivery. Highly recommend!

Surprised as I had heard good things. Clean, pleasant atmosphere and staff. Only the 2 of us for lunch on Thursday at 1 pm. We both ordered the gyro sandwich and Greek salad on the side. Salad was pretty good But lettuce had a few spots on the leaves which is not cool. A pet peeve like the ends of romaine lettuce - sloppy prep. Disappointed in the gyro. Fresh pita, bland tzatziki sauce , fresh onions , tomatoes and sadly only 2 pieces of gyro meat. Really? We asked if it was a lunch size portion and server said no - this was all the time .so basically a veggie gyro . For $8.99 I expect 4-5 pieces of meat. Maybe they are slow with business- maybe it was just the day. But I won't be coming back to find out. Hoping they read yelp reviews and adjust. My friend remembers 5 years ago when everything was double the size. Times change but I will find Greek gyros elsewhere .
